I just bought a 2011 KLR. I needed this. I’m sure the gen 2 is much the same. Previous owner said he changed the oil recently but it can’t hurt to do it again.
The Gen 2 is still an amazing bike can't go wrong with that one. And it's better to change it just to have the Peace of mind knowing when it was changed last.
@@FullThrottleJunkie I’ll get the maintenance done and order a rack and boxes, probably tusk. I can’t wait to go camping!
@@insatiable_mind I had the tusk on my gen2 if you check out some of my older videos you can see what I did to it
Please put together a parts list with links! I like lots of your mods, maybe a updated video on current mods as well. You sure can rip on a KLR!
Over lubed was an under statement
🤣🤣🤣 I should be good for a while there's enough on there to last me a year
Full synthetic? Is that okay with the KLR and the wet clutch? Only asking cause I’m going to be changing my oil on my 2022 Klr soon. Love your channel.
From my point of view oil is oil. synthetic oil just does not break down as quickly as regular oil that's why it lasts longer. Some oils do have additives that help prolong the wear and tear on the engine components. I choose to run full synthetic because of how hard I run the bike. Just my personal preference.
Awesome
Thanks
Bad ass man, would love to see more KLR vids. What windshield is that?
I got the windshield from puig racing
Change my oil every 1K. It’s a thumper, that oil was black.
ok.. but you dont put silver anti seize on rubber parts. that also makes a heck of a mess..
So, uh…I understand you do wheelies.
Nice. I just picked up a 2014. Getting it ready for the road.
Good choice!
What Aircraft did you work on?
I work for a few different private companies everything from small Cessnas to bigger Gulf streams.
@@FullThrottleJunkie I liked working on Gulfstreams, I used to work on my buddies Falcon 900ex. Now I work on T-38's. If you're ever out by San Antonio let me know and I might be able to get you a close up
@@dougmate2378 it worked on a few falcons some hawkers but my favorite plane was the saber liner. I might be taking a trip out there one day hopefully
@@FullThrottleJunkie I never worked on those, definitely a good looking plane. 🤙🍻
Cool how stupid was i always lubing the chain like a monkey , when I saw you just spin the wheel ........
