Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order On The Cusp of Perfection
How do you remember Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order? I remember it being one of the better titles to release in 2019 but I wouldn’t blame you for forgetting about it, as 2019 gave us some insane releases. Pokemon Sword and Shield, Metro Exodus, Sekiro, DMC 5, and releases like Outer Wilds and Catherine Full Body occupy my top ten of all time. That didn’t stop many from enjoying the game however, as Jedi Fallen Order received some excellent reviews. I loved the game for being a self contained Star Wars experience, requiring minimal external knowledge of the world or events to understand the story. Vibrant worlds, an intriguing story, and visceral combat lead to me remembering the game fondly. With the announcement of this game's sequel, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, I’ve had an itch to replay Jedi Fallen Order, and spoiler alert, I am glad I did. I can also finally keep my word about covering this game, as I promised it would be the next video almost 3 years ago now. Better late than never. While there were some hiccups in the performance and combat, the game overall is a fun ride from beginning to end. So, without further adieu let’s take a look back at what I would consider to be the best modern Star Wars video game, 3 years later. I’ll be spoiling most of the game here too so be warned.
Something important to note about Fallen Order is that it is, mostly, self contained. This remedies any issues with lore, as the game has no greater impact on the Star Wars universe, but it also makes the game accessible. I have to admit, I like Star Wars, and I have seen all the movies, and played all the games, but only once or twice. I wouldn’t consider myself a die hard fan, and I entered this game with a surface level understanding of Jedis, Siths, The Force, and the galaxy, far far away. Fortunately, my experience was not hindered at all, and what information I did know before going in was rewarded. There were small cameos from characters I recognised from the films, and plenty of familiar songs will score your journey.
Unfortunately, all of these praises are under a caveat that the game didn’t run the best on launch and still struggles occasionally. These hiccups were minor in my experience, and often occurred when exploring new areas, leading me to believe that the game is chugging as it loads new textures in, perhaps this could be alleviated when playing on the PS5s SSD, but on the PS4 it did struggle in some minor areas. On PC it was a similar story on my Hard Drive, but everything was as smooth as possible on an SSD. All footage was captured on PC, but I have played both versions. I’d say go for the PC version as it offers more replayability through mods, some of which are a bit too horny for my taste, but others like being able to customise your lightsaber down to the exact colour value, can enhance a new game plus playthrough.
Star Wars is a series I am not very familiar with. With the release of star wars jedi survivor I've had an urge to replay star wars jedi fallen order. With the release of a new star wars game on the horizon, we should look at one of the better star wars game, perhaps the best star wars game, which I find to be consistently on the cusp of perfection. This Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Critique, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Review, or Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Analysis will feature Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Gameplay, throughout. This Jedi Fallen Order Review, Jedi Fallen Order Analysis, or Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Retrospective, was made by That Boy Aqua.

Guys please, I did not say that SW/SH occupy my top 10. I said those games were major releases of the year, and that both Outer Wilds and Catherine occupy the top 10. I don’t know what’s worse; the amount of people misinterpreting the sentence, or how pressed they’re getting about it.
You are the only channel I can put on in the background
Even us Sith acknowledge when an enemy has strength. And this Jedi focused Videogame possess great strength indeed
This is The second time you changed the title of your video and your thumbnail.
Fun fact, but useless detail about the game
When you first meet Vader and he force chokes you and cal pulls a peice of machinery to hit Vader but if you look closely
Vader didn't anticipate it with the force.
Just before Vader blocks the machine with the force. he looks at calls hand. He instantly realizes cal is pulling the machinery towards him and for a very quick then reacts. So Vader even when he is caught of guard handles it like a giga chad.
Now I feel like a dork
@@somedorkydude6483 dang! He’s no slouch! Honestly that section where you realize you can’t touch Vader is incredibly well done. Almost like a horror movie
Honestly, I was more terrified of Kashyyyk than I was of Dathomir. Dathomir was uneasy, but aside from the occasional enemy around a corner. There isn’t much to actively scare you.
Meanwhile Kashyyyk has spiders the size of cars that can jumpscare you, ginormous Venus flytraps and parasitic plants that slowly and ominously go towards you. I found Dathomir a nice stroll compared to the horrors on Kashyyyk.
Dathomir was the best planet. The design was so cool and the Taron Malicos boss fight was one of the best i have ever played in any game. That sequence alone is better than the entirety of Jedi Survivor.
Very good point. To me, I found the scariness of Dathmoir to come from how dead and abandoned it felt, like a place where nothing should be. Meanwile Kashyyyk is this incredibly lush lively natural enviroment where you might get jumpscared and oppressed by its various predators, but it does feel like you're just a trespasser on their home.
It is also funny tho because after you get to climb the origin tree and essentialy conquer the Kashyyyk area, you are rewarded with seeing it's actual beauty and wonder. While in Dathomir, you get to meet the Gorgara, which is problably the scariest encounter you come across there.
@@reno9821I agree with how you described Dathomir compared to Kashyyyk. Dathomir just felt very uneasy to be in (as it should). Kashyyyk was nice and beautiful to stroll through.
Dathomir- goth witch mania
Kashyyyk- deadly majestic jungle
Zeffo- sometimes beautiful, sometimes claustrophobic
I agree to a point. The atmosphere of Kashyyyk and the atmosphere of Dathomir are completely different and while the enemy type may be different the atmosphere was what gave me that unease.
I played Fallen Order the first month it came out and just replayed it this last month while also convincing two of my friends to play it. Both playthroughs were a great experience and watching my friend struggle his way through jedi grand master to hearing his mic peak after beating Trilla and shitting his pants facing Vader was a great fucking time. I love this game.
Is basically a way to tell us that trills was nothing against vader, while we need to use our hand to move people or some thing vader destroy everywhere he walk with his flicking mind
I think there Should be a Anakin game that takes place from Episode 2 to Episode 3.

Still my favorite game ever. I can’t even believe how good Survivor looks after seeing the trailer.
Played it 8+ times. One of the best games ever.
@Kx xK Mass Effect 2 is trash compared to the first one lmao
@@nagger8216 I can’t think of anything that mass effect does that mass effect 2 doesn’t do just as well or better, aside from maybe the opening mission being somewhat better in the first game.

To this day, Fallen Order and Survivor are the only Star Wars content that’s been able to get me invested in the story. Fallen Order especially. I just… I love Cal so much.
Did you play KOTOR or Jedi Knight?
Cameron Monaghan was PERFECT as Cal Kestis, he belongs in Star Wars and should belong to canon more than the sequel trilogy.
This game was one of the games that kept me busy during the early stages of lockdowns. The team dynamic kind of reminded me of Guardians of the Galaxy.
Huh you barely interact with your crew members in this game lol and you never interact with them during gameplay in any meaningful way. Are you sure you left this comment on the right video?
@@littleoldmanboy Yeah to be honest each level was hours long and all they did was wait at the ship. With some lines of dialogue here and there in game, they only existed in cutscenes. Not sure what game these people played.
@@littleoldmanboy they said the dynamic, which isn't exclusive to gameplay at all lmao. the way they talk to each other largely dictates that, like in GOTG

Cal was a better written and explored main character in one game than Rey in 3 movies. Not the greatest game ever but a decent one and I'm excited for Cal's story in survivor
Cal was better written within the first 6.5 hours of the 17 hour game than Rey, Finn and Poe were in 6.5 hours worth of film, but most of that is credited to the retconning in rise of skywalker
The intro of this game is also better written than all 6 hours of the prequels
@@Bluerock121no.

I absolutely loved every minute of Fallen Order. I can't wait for the follow up. I'm not sure how they can improve it, but I bet they will.
Plenty of thing's they can improve lol. Meditation points, the horrendous 3D map, and the constant backtracking to the ship are 3 off the top of my head. It's a great game and I love it but there are DEFINITELY thing's to improve upon.
@@Remmy0930 I was definitely forgetting a lot. When I read each of your points, I kept thinking "ohhh yeah, that did suck" 😂
@@Remmy0930 by far the worst of those 3 is the map
@@HeyImTiP i hardly use the map, i use my brains 😂😂😂

I really only had one issue with Fallen Order. It’s that you were nostly fighting creatures, not the Empire. It just does not feel very Jedi to jump down onto Oggdo Boggdo and basically leave him halfway to death. Aside from the fact that Cal fights mostly crearures, I really like this game, and I’m really excited for Survivor.
It's a valid point, but I think it's just to make combat more varied
Fallen Order got me back into gaming. I had given up on any games outside of RDR2 and BotW. After playing FO I genuinely started loving narrative driven adventures and challenging gameplay. I loved it.
Try the Witcher series. It might scratch that itch.
@@schmodedo thanks for the suggestion. I have TW3 for my Series X but, knowing it’s immense size, I haven’t brought myself to diving in just yet. I have a few other games to make my way through first :)
@@matthewjalovick It's definitely a hefty endeavor. Some of the side quests can be a little repetitive but there are several that have their own story and engage you in other ways than just your generic "fetch this, kill that". And the expansions are practically new games unto themselves. The replay value is high, with deep narrative and abundant choices, few of which are strictly good or bad/black or white. It holds up quite well for a game that's nearly 8 years old and, for me, comes in a very close second to RDR2 among my favorites for story driven action.
you should consider switching to playstation if you want more good single player story focused games like this
@@nomorepartiezz PlayStation has single player story games but a lot of the stories aren’t that good and the gameplay is usually mid to boring.
Fun fact! In the Trilla final boss fight, you can actually force push the flash bangs right back at her if you're quick enough. Was very fun putting them right back in her face after 37 of them blowing up in my face.
I tried that many times and it never worked, but so many times she smacked me for trying anyway
What boss did you find the hardest? Mine was personally Malicos
I think I actually found Ninth Sister the hardest.
On my NG playthrough I felt no challenge against most bosses, but on Jedi Grandmaster, you need to make proper use of all your abilities, understand all the enemies attacks, and have precise timing. Ninth Sister was the first boss to have me stuck for close to 45 minutes because I was conditioned to play recklessly and it taught me to approach fights with focused aggression rather than improvising the whole time. Once I understood that concept and worked it into my gameplay the other bosses were still challenging, and even more fun, but nowhere near as hard to adapt to.
Malicos and Trilla are tough for sure, but they follow the same concepts and patterns that Ninth Sister forces you to grapple with.
@@ThatBoyAqua This reminds me of my friend I found ninth sister easy and struggled on Malicos and he found Malicos easy and struggled on the Ninth Sister. Both are amazing fights though
@That Boy Aqua ogdo bogdo since I purposely fought him early although. I cheese the fight on future playthroughts.
Simply go to the exit and hang out just outside of the area and attack go to the exit wait for his ai to have a stroke and repeat ez
idk if it counts, but I died to the bird thing that chases you on dathomir more than anything because I thought for sure jumping up the climbing walls would be faster than just climbing. took me quite a few tries before I finally realized why I couldn't get away from the bastard lol
@@intraelement2633 I died a few times here too 😂😂😂
Aqua got me on the cusp with 2 uploads in 10 days
I remember beating this game and starting New Game+ and never finishing it again. While watching this video I asked myself “how come I never got through the second playthrough?” and then you mentioned how none of the skills and abilities transfer over and it dawned on me🤣
Right all you get in new game+ is all the lightsaber colors lmfao
It's a good game yes, but definitely also a "one and done game" imo
Couldn't wait to finish it
Too tedious
I have to say that this is probably the one UA-cam video that legit kept me watching for thirty minutes and you executed it so freaking WELL! Incredible video man. You earned a sub.
I remember it as a worst Sekiro. Also hated you fought more animals than bladed enemies.

Thank you for making note of the incredibly low effort NG+. We literally waited 7 months for that and all we got were cosmetics, none of which were actually new.
An Ahsoka training arc would literally be the perfect mission in Survivor to unlock duel lightsaber combat.
As if she hasn't been shoehorned into enough shows already... Star Wars is already a fan service-obsessed, cameo riddled shitshow, we don't need any more of that crap
@@nagger8216 why are you here?
I beat Fallen Order yesterday and It's a great game.
It's unfortunate the amount of technical issues present, even on next-gen consoles, such as pop in, characters taking a good second to load and audio desync during cutscenes. Most issues aren't that bad but what annoyed me was that they were constant. On top of that, the combat was hit-or-miss with me, with some encounters been fantastic while others been annoying.
That said, I would gladly give it a second go because the story and characters are great, I really like the uncharted-esque platforming and the locations are fantastic. I was planning to do a NG+ but now I'll clear my current save and do NG+ at a later date.
In any case, this is a great video that reminds me the many highlights from the game.
For the last trilla fight, especially on grandmaster. She is still able to be hit with force slow, so when I hear the flashbang being thrown out, I almost instinctively hit that, wait the attack to load in to either defend it or punish it. Hope this helps for people struggling on grandmaster difficulty
I was just sincerely surprised at how much I liked this game by the end. The first time I picked it up, I only gave it a couple hours and felt the combat was too simple, but when I gave it another try and worked my way down the upgrade tree, I quickly started enjoying the flow of the combat and after the first boss fight I was hooked. The story wasn't groundbreaking, but the characters were really well acted and most of the writing was good enough to keep me interested in what happened next. The focus on a mostly linear platforming experience with set pieces and metroid-vania progression was a lot more fun than I originally expected. I'm still considering going back to platinum it, just because I want to play more.
I finally got around to finishing this game last year. Really good game. Respawn is a great team of developers
My only complaint about jedi fallen order is that to get the inquisitor outfit and the red lightsaber color you have to play the whole game over again to get it and that just takes a lot of time to do all over again. Honestly an amazing game one of the best I have ever played, the storyline is great and the cutscenes are jaw dropping. I can’t wait for Jedi survivor!
This game helped me a lot during lockdown. My birthday was in April, it was the third week of strict lockdown and quarantine and it was quite a depressing moment in the world. My parents bought me this game digitally, since we couldn't leave our homes, and I had a blast with it. I don't consider myself an expert in SW lore, but I know for sure this game is respectful of the SW universe and I loved how they fitted in a story motivation that was, from the get go, destined to fail, since we all knew the Jedi Order was never restored. Still they made it work so well. Also, I love ponchos, I'm Argentinian and I felt represented😂 great video ♥
I really liked it, but it's extremely far from perfect.
The lightsaber feels like a glowstick during combat, and you can tell EA gave Respawn a bag of peanuts for a budget, expected them to fail and to get an excuse to say "well, people don't want Single Player games, we told you".
Respawn took that bag of peanuts, worked their magic and pulled it off like champs à la Sekiro, same combat, same budget compensated by re-using levels.
32:42 We can only hope that they take inspiration from Elden Rings lack of icons.
Just finished it this week. Great game, really hyped for Jedi Survivor
Nah, Fallen Order doesn’t have New Game Plus, that shit is New Game Minus. Ain’t nothing “plus” about taking my abilities away.
The Inquisitor outfit and red saber are fire tho (but I wish the red blade wasn’t locked to the outfit)
Uploading to TikTok is an awesome idea! Coincidentally I used to do a series on my channel called 60 Second Reviews - I absolutely loved making them, but shortform content really wasn’t good for the algorithm so the videos didn’t do well at all. TikTok is a much better place for that kind of thing!
10:00 Actually, most "squeeze through tight corridors" and "crawl through a narrow tunnel" sections these days are not used for hiding loading screens. I heard it has more to do with loading scenes in properly.
that's what.. loading screens are for
Not hiding a loading screen, letting everything load properly got it
Sooooo...hiding a loading screen?
What do I remember most about this game? I remember how goofy Cal looked and then the absolute stupid way he runs, then the bug eyes about to pop out of Ceres head... I also remember that we got no outfits, only a silly poncho... I hope they fix these issues so the sequel will be that much better.
Right? If you think this janky garbage game is anywhere close to perfect I’ve got some ponchos for you lol
There's rumours that Survivor is open world? Oh god no
I think the open-world formula could work great since the first game is already about exploring these massive levels, but I completely understand and agree with your hesitation, it'll have to be done right. Hopefully they'll learn a thing or two about how Elden Ring does it, especially since Fallen Order is already heavily influenced by Dark Souls
@@nagger8216 Elden Ring is precisely why I don't want it lol. ER gave a fresh look on open world, yet it became incredibly tiring in the latter half of the game.
The fallen order game gives me Batman Arkham vibes. They are starting a whole new series with interesting gameplay. Great story and fun replay ability.
Only 2 Arkham games have good stories
@@Vis1786 I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that haha

I cannot count how many times i've played fallen order since it came out. I NEVER knew you could pull out the tomb guardian core
I am so freakin' hyped for Survivor! Fallen Order was my jam, even on Jedi Grand Master difficulty (I'm a total masochist, I know). I mean, that game was just straight-up brilliant - the way you could chain parries and counterattacks to take down waves of stormtroopers was so satisfying. Needless to say, I am beyond excited for Survivor!
I remember buying this game not long after I beat Sekiro, Cranked it up to Jedi Grandmaster and has a hell of a time. Looking forward to playing it again in preperation for Jedi Survivor
Played this game for the first time last week. I was kinda annoyed after 2 hours, almost close from deleting the game. Next 2 days I got hooked and finished the entire game in one weekend. 10/10
Opposite - started an 8, but after all the backtracking I turned to the darkside, 7, or 6/10 if you're going for 100%. Star Wars music would've upped it back to 8. Mal's battle was unfair on normal, especially as you respawned a fair bit away each time.
as a person who always struggled to like fromsoftware games or rockstar games and never trully felt the same apreciaton of fanatism and enjoyment with any particular game, both jedi fallen order and jedi survior have shown me that there is one game i can call my absolute favorites
4:20 god that shot is sublime

It’s my second favorite game, only being taken by Ratchet & Clank 3 for nostalgia reasons. I REALLY hope Jedi: Survivor lives up to Fallen Order’s status.
YO TWO AQUA VIDEOS IN LESS THEN 2 WEEKS. LETS GO. Ya love to see it. Also are you guys planning to do any new podcast episodes in the future?. I really enjoy those as well. Keep up the great work tho.
The best thing about the combat is that it finds a great middle ground between difficulty and fun. Games like Elden Ring are difficult to the point of having no enjoyment. This is an enjoyable melee combat system that is always engaging.
I just finished this game like a week ago since it was free with PlayStation plus and I was completely blown away and now I can’t wait for survivor
theres no way you said that intro with a straight face lol
the fight malicos was hard for me too, I found that parrying was the best against him but it wouldn't work always

I just platinumed this game on PS5 and I don’t even really know anything about Star Wars. This game was amazing and I can’t wait for Jedi survivor
Just finished this game today, and it was a blast! Loved it
The story in this game was miles upon miles better than anything from disney (except mandalorian). It’s crazy the writers from this game are so much better. It was such a relief to finally have good star wars in any form lol
Andor is also good
Andor is easily the best Star Wars thing Disney has made. Rouge One and Mandalorian are also good but everything else sucks.
It’s also better than the prequels. But people are delusional and like to pretend those are good nowadays
@@Bluerock121 there's a reason my guy.
I like all of star wars its funny you guys pretend your fans. I loved them since i was a kid and George was done. Like WTF. The people who write star wars now are like you, they grew up on it. Quite frankly its just weird you people choose to act this way
There’s 3 ways to dodge. Side-step, rolling over & jumping over 18:40
I never watched Star Wars as a kid, which I have been made fun of by my friends for years, but I picked up this game and I absolutely loved it, I started it in early 2020 and finished it in mid 2021. This and Mandalorian introduced me to the franchise, and I love them both for that fact.
I played this game on PS4 Pro this month. The performance was pretty awful at times. Frame drops are pretty common. Sometimes, textures don't load for a few seconds. On another level, the enemies loaded in 10 seconds late, and they just idled. Certain enemies get launched in the air for no reason. There are times where I'll do a perfect dodge but still get hit. I can keep going. That being said, I had a blast playing this game in Grand Master difficulty. Currently, I'm trying to finish the combat challenges. I just wish these issues would have been polished out.
Loved the game, and I may try to fit a fifth (?!) playthrough in before Survivor comes out. I think what impresses me most about it is that despite the numerous obvious influences it heavily borrowed from, it quite easily carved out its own niche by combining them all so well, and brought a worthwhile, entertaining story along with that.
Now that I think about it they should have let you carry all your abilities but only have them unlock once you got the corresponding force power and just let you keep all your stims from the start
Jedi fallen order was really awesome and badass
I remember it being "it was fun but could definitely need more work" sorta thing.... Wait Jedi survivors releases on the 17th of March??? That's a day after my birthday
Lightsaber needs to be stronger and dismemberment is a MUST have
"so you can game while watching my videos on a second monitor"
Swear to god while you mentioned this, I was dragging the Opera gx window to my second monitor with your vid while starting Sekiro
Played this game on grandmaster my first time. Highly recommended.
You can actually force push the flame troopers into a wall and cause their flame packs to explode.
Also there's actually more changes to the legendary creatures than just HP. The Alpha Nydak can't be parried 3 times and immediately killed, as its bio says its far more intelligent than the lesser nydaks. The Albino Wyyyshock has the claw attack the normal ones have that normally is an instant kill but its an unblockable. And many similar things to the other creatures.
Also it makes sense to lock the dual wield behind a combo attack, seeing as Cal at that time only knew double bladed combos from Tapal and form 1 in training.
i need to replay this game now, great video as always!
Played through the game and loved every second, it was a fun Platinum trophy to go for and hope the sequel can live up to expectations!
There is a probe droid, dropping the bangs, kill it you stop the flash bangs until she gets another one
I’m currently playing through the Mafia series and wondering if you would ever make a video about those games. I love the length and depth of your videos and I think it would be awesome to hear you talk about those classics.
The backtracking was the only thing I did not enjoy but this game is my absolute favorite.
my biggest problem with Fallen Order is that the game never gave me a conclusive and satisfying fight against Trilla, you fight her three times and all three of them were interrupted by a fucking cutscreen. Let ME, THE PLAYER, finish the fight

I absolutely loved star wars Jedi fallen order I pre-ordered survivor in February ps5 physical version at the Gamestop I shop at. It will be the 4th game I buy this year.
Some of the performance issues, lack of enemy variety and combat towards the end, and other shortcomings seemed like it was still a proof of concept, just pulled off really well. This could be cynical based on EA's history, but I'm hoping now Survivor is much more polished. The being said, I played normal through grandmaster and it was always satisfying. Great game, good characters, and BD-1 is the best.
Great video. Like the breakdowns of gameplay, performance, presentation and story all on their own merits.
The good news is that Respawn is gonna delay the game for 4 weeks till release to patch up all the kinks, so there’s that.

You can avoid the flashbangs against Trilla iirc! It should just be looking the other direction of where it is
This is one of the best Star Wars games ever made, and, to me, probably the best since Knights of the Old Republic. If there's one game I'm excited about this year, its Jedi Survivor.
Why does cal look so weird in the thumbnail
An Aqua video I can watch in one sitting 😍
I always liked this game because it told a fun story with a fantastic villain all wrapped in pretty tight gameplay. It had its issues, but compared to the discourse around the sequels? It succeeded in spades for just being solid. It’s why Survivor is my most anticipated Star Wars project over any movies and tv shows…it can evolve the gameplay and move away from the main Star Wars narrative more to carve its own path
Dathomir? Minutes? Bro no matter how many times I revisited that planet I got lost for ages 😭
this feels a little rambly but i wanna share my experience with Fallen Order. i enjoyed watching souls and soulslike games before, but i never wanted to play them myself; why play something that's difficult for difficulty's sake? but i'm a HUGE star wars fan, so sure, i'll try Fallen Order even though it's a style i don't think i'll like. but then when i play it, my favorite part is those same systems i thought i wouldn't enjoy! the combat isn't difficult by being unfair, it's just a complex, quick system to be learned (and a satisfying one at that). and now, i’m saving up for Elden Ring (we'll see how that goes)
this is something i love about the star wars universe; it's so big and varied that there's room for so many kinds of stories and games and experiences. and it'll get nerds like me to try new styles we might think we won't like, only to open us to broader experiences :)
The one problem that had me googling it was the maze like revisit of planets, especially Dathomir. You need to go North East to end up on the South West swamp and it takes 5 whole minutes of spaghetti runing around to do so. Could have been an elevator somewhere but no.
I just finished fallen order and have started Survivor. The only issue i have with the latter so far is that i explored areas but hadn't progressed the story far enough.
It's an issue many games have, you really need to play the first few missions before you go exploring
Well done Thanks for sharing 👍
29:09 Reva from the Obi Wan show is just a dollar store Chinese knock off of Trilla. Comparing their introductions really lays out how much worse the writing was in Kenobi
I liked it well enough but there are too many places where I can tell the team was just good enough to hide where they cut their corners that most people don't notice. Without harping on the inconsistencies you mentioned, I hate being in caves because without the skyboxes, I'm abruptly reminded that I was running around on a floating Unreal asset. You can fly by alternately mashing jump and slow after you get the double jump. combat is straight forward and traversal, even with flying, is slow and monotonous.
I honestly think I'm just spoiled by Jedi Academy, but I really feel like this game could have been so much better if it was given just one more coat of polish.
Ngl Fallen Order game is the reason that hook me into Star Wars lore and movies.
Literally started playing this yesterday
It's a great game, 81 on metacritic shows it, but it also shows it's neither "perfect" nor close to it.
Words lose their meaning when used haphazardly, and I'm sick of content creators using superlatives to get clicks from morons.
but eh, that got me to write a comment, so it worked ! I just feel it was unnecessary doing that.
