OPEN LOWER LEG FRACTURE - BUXTON MOUNTAIN RESCUE

A climber falls from a local crag and upon impact with the ground, his lower leg fractures. Our team responded swiftly. One of our team members was cycling locally and was able to assist the casualty before the team arrived.
We thank HM Coastguard for attending, providing advanced treatment with East Mids and moving the casualty to the nearest hospital.
We wish the casualty a swift recovery.
