First aid to an injured walker on Kinder Scout

A walker, who was part of a group, had slipped causing a painful injury to the shoulder.
The team was requested to assist Edale Mountain Rescue Team, due to midweek team member availability.
When team members reached the casualty, strong pain relief was administered. The casualty was then placed onto a mountain rescue stretcher and the stretcher party descended via The Nab and onto Edale, where East Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics were waiting to transfer the casualty to hospital.
We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
