Mountain Rescue works very closely with the Police. Our partnership runs throughout the fabric of our organisation. The primary advantage of the relationship is the life saving communication between the two organisations. For example, the Police provide invaluable information, if Mountain Rescue is required to search an area for a missing person.
The sergeant of the Cheshire Rural Crime Team, Sgt R. Simpson, provides an insight into how Mountain Rescue works with the Police.
