You can tell she was trying so hard to hold back at the beginning, and he was trying so hard not to laugh, and they both failed miserably!
It's also kind of ironic that he can't control his actions, any more than she can.
I mean it's hard not to laugh also tho
@@joeclinton9991 Indeed, and I think that's perfectly fine to laugh if you can't help it, once you at least _attempt_ to hold it in..

I don’t think the middle finger is part of her condition 😂
She's just so beautiful. I hope some strides will be made so she can live a stress free, normal life. I suffer from tinnintus and now I feel bad for ever complaining
Hello random person, do you want to be my friend?
you do so much more then you know baylen. This world right now, its hard to breathe sometimes, you are the air we all need.
Why do people with Tourettes curse though, genuinely want to know? Worked with someone who had the twitching, but never said anything inappropriate.
Only a small percentage of people with Tourettes have what’s called coprolalia, which is characterized by obscene gestures and phrases.
There is a connection to OCD and with OCD you get random intrusive thoughts and phrases that pop up in your head
Swearing and language are processed in different parts of the brain. Indeed for example people who have a bad stutter have no problem saying bad words when angry. Tourette just randomly affects this part of the brain for the girl, et voilá.
This reminds me of the funniest episode of South Park when cartmen fakes this condition.
Ass burgers
I'll reference the TicsandRoses case here, and I'll provide my story with Tourette's.
In my opinion as someone who is 52 years old and was diagnosed at 15, the BEST way to find out with some high degree of certainty is:
1. Ask them specifically what their diagnosis was like. What kind of doctor diagnoses Tourette's?
2. Ask how they came to the conclusion that it was Tourette's? The doctor will tell them the diagnostic criteria and how their manifestations met that criteria.
3. What meds are typically prescribed?
I was diagnosed with Tourette's when I was 15 in Duarte, CA, at the City of Hope. This was when it was first emerging, and Dr. David Cummings was the lead researcher. Our family is actually in a few early studies. It runs in families.
They drew tons of blood, although I don't know if they do today or not. I think it had to do with genetic markers or something similar. I was remotely observed over the course of a couple of hours.
Back then, the diagnosis came down to the fact that I had both vocal and motor tics. I had multiple motor tics...everything from shoulder shrugging to clenching the muscles around my neck, to running my lips together, to looking up and to the side, and more. The tics don't all come at once. Stress brought them on then and still does.I have a mild case, although my cousin has it more severely. Many don't even know unless they ask why I am doing X, Y, or Z. Tics can get physically exhausting at their worst. Sore neck, raw lips, etc. My vocal tic was humming, and it still is today.
After seeing TicandRoses video, I knew immediately this girl was full of it. Her tics, albeit they can vary widely, were so theatrical it was hilarious to me. I'm not saying that tics can't intervene in your life...tics for my cousin in public are very noticeable. But with this girl, I knew she was full of it because for those of us who experience tics...it's not entertaining, and remember, it's not always apparent to us either. You can go periods of time with nothing that you'll notice...it depends on the severity of your case. I can suppress them for short durations, but the moment I'm not consciously focused on it...here it comes. For some, it's bad, and Haldol was the med of choice then.
I saw zero consistency in any of hers tics. I have grown out of tics and brought in new ones over the years. The ones I've had can be present for years, or in the case of my vocal tic...it's been pretty much my whole life. I suppose you can onboard more when you are younger, but this girl had so many different ones that were so theatrical and unnatural. The "wow", "wow" was just absurd.
The other thing is that hers were timed pretty evenly from what I can tell. Say something...have a tic...say something...have another. It doesn't work that way most of the time.Tourette's vary widely, and it's not a slam dunk to diagnose either.
TicsandRoses is a horrible person who clearly lacks the typical conscience that most of us have. It's hard to tell when someone who claims to have Tourette's if they do or don't.
Sure, people can study others with Tourette's and learn to fake it. But, don't forget, although tics can be temporarily suppressed, or can get worse with stress, tics are involuntary.
Determining if someone is faking Tourette's can be a challenge, especially with today's sensitivities relative to anyone with a disorder But, expressing curiosity about how they were diagnosed, by whom, where, etc., will probably be enough to get them to make a mistake in their "memorized learnings."
I cannot confirm/refute everything that you've said due to having 0 knowledge, but the part about timing you mentioned was (from my perspective) very spot on.
I rarely have the patience to wade through long-winded posts, but that was satisfyingly informative. 👍

@@drusef9985 My response was lengthy for a reason. :) For anyone who generally found Tourette's interesting, sure, it's a lot of content reply for the comments section. However, for those who've been impacted, insulted, and suffer from Tourette's, my share isn't about the word count. It shared valuable content, for some, that might make a difference in how they feel having it and my opinions on how to call out the scum who seek to exploit us.
I've been following Baylen Dupree for months and she's no joke. She has great parents and lives in Canada.

@@Destroyer-Grizzly-BIHI second this.
First time I've seen the middle finger tic. Trollette syndrome?

That's good that anyone would ever say that to a person. It's not our fault we have these disorders which are all neurological!!! Please respect her and the rest of us on this planet suffering from any of these disorders.
Don't forget Schizophrenia
Says he's not going to censor, then they censor her..
Bc the dude started laughing think that's why they censored it
I think what makes many skeptical regarding tourettes isn't the tics but the utterance of obscenities and such that some possess. I guess, right off the bat, why is it always something offensive? Isn't there anyone with tourettes that can't stop themselves from being excessively complimentary? 😆
Coprolalia.
Always wondered about this, too. It's never, "NICE HAIR, HANDSOME!" The most offensive possible outburst every time.
I googled that too, turns out it’s likely due to damage to the Amygdala, the part of the brain that controls rage or aggression. We all have a “filter” and say things in our heads we wouldn’t normally say, but people with Tourette’s can’t control it, it’s like a hiccup or a sneeze. You can try to hold it in but it just comes out. I’m not a doctor or anything though so I’m not sure.
seems like they do have a filter if they're aware enough to know what they're saying at certain times is offensive, or after they say it they know it's inappropriate or offensive... @@allywhite87
It's called corpilalia
Baylen is a genuine hero.
The hiccup was his fair warning. I know this is a serious matter so father pls forgive me but this has me belly laughing, like the laughing when all you can hear is air escaping lol.... Now on the other hand all the credit for her for putting herself out there in order to educate others. They always say make learning fun...😊
She really doesn’t have Tourette’s, she just does this for attention and TikTok views. Sadly this is how she makes a living. She found something that works and it’s giving her a glimpse of fame. She’s basically making fun of all the people who really have Tourette’s. It’s crazy what some people will do for social media fame.
Not what the ppl who go to school w hee say
How do you know this ? If you're not positive why speculate
@@lavisdizzi3903you have to read between the lines. She found a way to gain fame and ran with it. I’m related to someone with Tourette’s, the muscular ticks are real but all the cussing and silly words and phrases are extra. She wants to make people laugh and gain popularity on social media. Half of the people on TikTok are just an act. You’re probably one of those people that believe anything they see on here.
I mean I've seen tics and this is how they do it some look different
Tics are what Tourette’s syndrome is. I have a family member with the condition. Even he will tell you that the profanity outburst are people seeking attention and it’s just an excuse to use profanity and no one question it because you tell them you have Tourette’s.
if there were no swear words in a language, would Tourettes diminish or would they say normal words loud and repetitively?

It's a good thing that people don't get diagnosed just by what somebody thinks because there are people on here that think she's faking and they think they know all about tourette's!! But this is why people are afraid to show about different kinds of disorders like this because they are afraid to be genuine and be themselves!! Because everybody has an opinion we all know about opinions right!!! But this young lady actually gets on there and she is genuine because she truly wants people to be educated about tourette's and what it truly is!! The obstacles and the things that she has to go through everyday living with tourette's!! So that way if you're out on the streets and you meet somebody with tourette's you would approach them and understand them more instead of staring pointing and making fun of them are calling them a liar!!! But see that's one thing that's very sad about the human race is that people don't take the time to educate themselves or try to understand different people and the disorders that they have and therefore they don't know any other way to react then looking like a fool!!! Some people are just Totally oblivious two different types of people with or without disorders or personalities, that's what makes us unique and just who we are!!! So before people start to say what they think about her faking or her giving the finger not being part of tourette's, maybe you should educate yourself before you State what you THINK is a fact!!!!
Bless her bravery ❤
