Yeah you're much better off using Himalayan salt than sugar and honey
@@mylene_b I made my own scrub, the ants came to it within 24 hours, managed to get the top off and ate it. So I used Himalayan pink salt and olive oil, worked much better.
I added just a touch of water to mine, and it made the softest consistency ever. I love it. I also added a little bit of rose essential oil, and it does wonders for your skin.

Tried it!! I did not have honey or oil so I used sugar, then bath and body works soap, then b&b perfume! It works perfectly! There is another way!

If your scrub is too liquidy and you then put more sugar or honey DON'T I repeat DON'T all you need to do is put it in the *FREEZER* go on your device then you will remember 5 hours later and it should be amazing the longer the better girlies!
hiiii, this is off topic to your comment but uh- so I did the recipe, and the next day the sugar was dissolving and there was this random clear brownish liquid on top of the remaining sugar, so do you have any tips on how to make it not dissolve?

if you dont have coconut oil you can also do: 1.pour in white/brown sugar 2.use body wash 3.add body lotion 4.add honey 5.water 6. mixx thank me later :)

It would be way better to use one of the recipes from someone who knows what they are doing.
Look at the @brambleberry youtube channel or @humblebeeandme or a channel like that where the one making it has more knowledge.
There are loads of really good free recipes on that you can find on youtube that are skin safe, with safe ingredients that are shelf stable.
@royaltysoaps also has a really good recipe for sugar scrub blocks!
If you use it all in one go it is also possible to use some sugar with a bit of oil and a few drops of essential oil.

If u have eczema and or sensitive skin don’t put perfume. My friend (who has eczema) used perfume and got rashes and it caused her skin to tingle a little.

Don't do it, I don't even know where to start stating facts about this, so I'm going to keep ot simple by telling you food is food and don't waste it like this.
Here is how I made my own!
Items u need
1.)body wash
2.)lotion
3.)essential oil (for scent) (optional)
4.)brown AND white sugar
5.)bath salt
6.)hand soap
7.)water
8.)food coloring (optional)
How to make it
Put some brown and white sugar in a bowl and mix it,
Then take the bath salt and add some aswell but not too much about half a handful. Then add ur water,body wash,hand soap,and lotion, and mix it all together then u add ur essential oils (I did eucalyptus spearmint) and mix it,then u can add food coloring but only add a bit cause u don’t want to be the color of ur body scrub 😬 then mix, add ur scrub to a container and MAKE SURE UR CONTAINER HAD A LID or else it will dry out and be useless,hope this helps! 😅😊

if you add essential oil to your scrub, you need to dilute it with a carrier oil like coconut oil, almond oil, etc. and the carrier oil should be unscented so that the essential oil is diluted enough

the honey gave me some alergic reactipn on my skin so i made my own:
- sugar (best white)
- coconut oil
- ground coffee

If anyone is interested, I came up with a decent body scrub recipe that works very well for me!
About 1/2 cup of brown sugar
Cinnamon to preference
Honey (I used about a tablespoon)
Ground coffee (it helps skin glow and exfoliates. I also used leftover coffee grounds in face masks by mixing it with some honey)
Unscented lotion
Bodywash (I used dove’s holiday treats pumpkin pie)
Now you’ve made a decent body scrub with added benefits!

I did this but for my hands. I used olive oil, salt, sugar, and lemon juice. The consistency didn't feel good, and it didn't smell the best. BUT, my hands were so soft. Definitely try it if you want soft skin!

1.first sugar! Pour how much u would like
2.Honey //pour a lot so you can mix it with the sugar but not to much you can always add more honey later//
3.body gel or just body wash but I used body gel
Something before u make is that make sure to use it fast actually don’t use it a lot bc it’s not the best for ur skin but over time maybe in a like a few days the sugar will melt (from experience)

I just did it and I put like a peppermint smelling perfume for Christmas time and it smells so good I'm so gonna use this hack always!
Actually purfume can cause rashes and is unsafe for your skin, especially on the other parts of the body. Ur skin would be irritated and sensitive if u keep doing this and u would get way worse over time, but if the perfume is safe then maybe u could do it, i prefer not to just to be safe

This is so good! Disclaimer it may only last a week because you mixed it with sugar. I heard that if you put it in the fridge it makes it last longer. ( I may not be right but this is what I’ve been told)

Are scrubs supposed to be used after using shower gel? Or are they used by themselves like a soap?
Sorry for the late reply but yes, they are supposed to used after shower gel (Personal opinion) and not as a soap itself since the shower gel you add just puts in a bit soapy ness and helps exfoliate better. You should use shower gel before to get all the outer dirt away before deep exfoliation. However, you can use it in whatever way you want.

Don't use perfume or body wash, bc body wash + sensitive face is not a great combo for acne prone skin. If you want, maybe add a cleanser or even a toner, or for something basic, just add vanilla flavor to it ❤
