In this Latin American country, my sister never got hers back, good thing she had nothing of real value in the suitcase, older clothes she was going to leave behind anyway for future visits. Between asking for a bribe to get it back and the 2 false notices before saying they had it waiting for retrieval, we said shove it up your A $$ es already.

I have an American friend that lives full time in Frankfurt , every time he flies back to see family they lose his luggage . Every time . Frankfurt -Detroit . He always tries to bring goodies home for everyone and it always goes missing .

Lost Luggage. If the plane is going to be overloaded which is common, they may put the luggage on another plane, this is what I was told when that happen to me.
