Am I the only one who felt an inescapable sadness seeing these once shining, unreachable stars brought down to earth, nestled in together behind folding tables at a convention center, desperate for whatever money they can scratch together off of autographs and selfies, because Hollywood no longer has any use for them? Puts 'fame' and 'stardom' in a new light. I met Kerri Green on the set of Lucas in my hometown. My dad was working security and I got to give her a drawing I did of her from The Goonies. She wrote a nice note to me on the envelope that I had the drawing in and we took a picture together. I still have the note and the photo. She was having lunch in the park with Wynona Ryder. Lucas was her first picture, I think. That was 39 years ago!
This is actually an important part of their career. They have to do publicity appearances and show goodwill to the people in the audience so that it encourages them to continue following their careers. Good things can come from it studio executives see who is hardworking and willing to be humble and classy and decent with people skills . They prove they are willing to promote themselves and their work for years to come and that is a real plus! They are all very TALENTED people! Great to see they are still in good health and wellbeing! Getting themselves out there reminds the Producers and the writers that they are available for work too. It keeps them in focus so that they will likely get roles even cameos in the current shows . The producers would consider all of them an asset as they can do promo for projects and they are crowd favorites so the talk shows will book them too so I think it is smart idea for their agents to get them doing events now and again. It might have been easier for them to charge a one time fee they all share then make it possible for people to get pictures of them as part of the price instead of people walking by and not paying. At least they still get royalties when people buy their products I went and bought another goonies dvd the other year their products still sell . Of course repurchasing more products the sales went up.Corey does alot to promote them all but when their costar got the oscar nomination and had the worldwide attention on them it also helped their sales I bet but now with the exception of Corey and and are the others still promoting it each year --then who else does it? Feldman likely keeps them all in business each year promoting things as much as he does! I think he and even Pauley outworked their costars for the amount of time effort they all do working nonstop trying so hard and yet the others got the so called glory but really all of us know that the ones who stayed working nonstop to promote them all are the ones that made sure they are not forgotten. So kudos to them.
William Shatner does a ton of these and he is filthy rich. Barbara Eden is still relatively well-off. I think they like to connect with their fans, they still need a bit of adulation . Some are clinging to a tiny bit of fame that remains. It is still a win-win for all involved.
Looks like fun to attend one of these events just because. I think I’d spend my time talking to the ones without a line. They probably would enjoy telling a story or two. Barbara Eden looked like she was enjoying the event.
Thank you for another wonderful video GIV. You have such a kind and warm personality. I appreciate you sir. And wow, Barbara Eden looks amazing for being 92 years old! Incredible. God bless her!

Pulling for you to get a million viewers. You have a great talent and I appreciate your work. You would also be great on the big screen. The way I see it it is far more difficult for you to succeed alone as you have. Your a self made movie star! Thanks
I really enjoyed watching this video, which showed what the actors from the S60 and S70 TV shows looked like now. You should have made the video 30 minutes long. Thanks for sharing this event.
Now he works for LA City Fire Department. A very down to earth guy. A lot of people don’t know that the Dodger portraying him stealing home in one of the last scenes was actually his older brother in real life. He later passed away.

U will get 1 million when YT decides u will get 1 million; there is no viral, only hand-picked faces! Everyone loves GIV who finds GIV; But I’m glad they picked you for 300K at least! GIV forever! ❤❤
100% true! Years ago I saw a documentary about some YT dude (forgot his name) who did nothing but handpicking content that he deemed worthy of being pushed upward within the YT ecosystem. The doc was centered around the fact that just this single behind the screen person was deciding who's going to be a YT star rather than the algorythm. This also shows that social media is as biased, controlled and serving the same agenda as mainstream media. The agenda of the powers that be favors doom and gloom (fear content) and entertainers/influencers such as Mr Beast feel like they are created, controlled/owned by YT and thus the powers that be. While independent content creators such as GIV seem to have a much harder time of getting their content out and attracting new subs at some point. I realized for the 1st time some influencers are being pushed and likely also created and controlled by YT when I saw an upcoming Dutch/youth influencer (Enzo Knol) appear multiple times in my feed while this dude was 100% unrelated to the content I like and I was already in my 30s, yet not long after this push he appeared on TV talkshows and everybody was talking about him in the media... making it obvious to me he was clearly manually placed in many peoples' YT feed and thus pushed into YT and media fame by YT. Later on the aformentioned documentary confirmed my suspicion. Someone like Justin Bieber gave me that same vibe of being handpicked, as it amazed me how a kid who wasn't even that good of a singer could explode into online and ultimately mainstream stardom like he did.
@@PsychonauticExplorer couldn't agree more; that documentary was probably removed for some "terms of service" violation too; it's honestly hilarious how far the powers that be will go to micromanage reality for the general public, pushing fear content and attention deficit content (Mr. Beast); people are so gullible *sigh* thanks for sharing your knowledge!
omg this is awesome, you made my day seeing these stars. My favorite has to be Randolph Mantooth he played Firefighter paramedic Johnny Gage in a 70s show called Emergency.
Hello GIV. I've been following you for awhile and this is my first message to you. I enjoyed your video this morning. In March I went to my first Comic Con in Seattle. I met and had my picture taken with actress Ashley Green and actor Peter Facinelli who were in the Twilight Saga Series. I also met actor Tom Kenny from SpongeBob. Everyone was so nice. My niece and her daughter travel all over the USA working those events. I enjoyed that entire experience! Take care.
I was at the show, too! I only got a selfie with Lindsay Wagner for $30 which was reasonable. I think some of the other celebrities have to charge a hefty price for an autograph or selfie. Kate Jackson RARELY does these events and her prices were high but she still had one of the longest lines because people wanted to see her even if she was wearing a mask. If she lowered her price, then her line would've been even longer and would never end. lol On the other hand, Lee Majors was charging the same as Kate, but eventually his line dwindled down to nothing around noon. He's appeared at these type of shows more often than Kate so he could lower his prices a bit instead of just sitting there with no one in line.
Excellent vid GiV. Good to see Lindsey Wagner in your clip. Lee Majors would have been nice too. Loved the bionic series. Barbara Eden probably does it for the fans and she probably enjoys getting out instead of sitting around at home..$$ don't hurt either. Have a nice day!
Corey Feldman is still a never was. Can’t believe you don’t know who Sid Kroft is. There was a whole indoor amusement park in Atlanta based on his characters now the CNN headquarters. Most of those “celebrities” are really stretching it with careers that never took off.
About 40 years ago,one of my teachers told me that I could never be a professional nurse, so just stop trying!… She was wrong!..I became a professional nurse and about 40 years later I retired!…many times is better not to listen to some people !😠

Thank you for sharing your videos with us. I would love to go to a con in California but I live in Michigan its just not in my budget. I haven't done a con in a while. Im a huge dukes of hazzard fan and I went to an event in Tennessee back in '23. It was a good one, it wasn't too big. The large ones are a bit of a turn off got me. I have bad social anxiety and depression but I'd get out the bed and dressed to the 10's to make $1k-5K fee for a 8 hour appearance, x's that by 2-3 day event and x's that by 2-3 events per month x's 12 and you have made quite a nice yearly income boost!
Thanks, GIV. I do wish you would have taken a little more time with the "Land Of The Lost" table. I think I saw the girl who played Holly in the TV show. I had a little crush on her back then. Great stuff GIV.👍

He's appeared at these type of shows more often than Kate so he could lower his prices a bit instead of just sitting there with no one in line.
Thanks for sharing!!!!!!! You do a great show!!!!!
Thanks GIV, for taking us out to the show so we could rub elbows with stars.
Great to see you there at the show brother.
I would’ve waited in line for Johnny Whitaker. And Marla Gibbs and JJ Walker those are the people have definitely gotten their autographs
You really enjoy these events don't you, you seem so excited childlike and happy!
Raj from Whats Happening a Legend!
So cool to see some celebrities I like. Especially the stars of 80s movies.
Corey Feldman is still a never was. Can’t believe you don’t know who Sid Kroft is. There was a whole indoor amusement park in Atlanta based on his characters now the CNN headquarters. Most of those “celebrities” are really stretching it with careers that never took off.
Thank you Mike for waiting in line and enduring the crowds so the rest of us didn't have to. Love your work mate. 🤜🤛🙂👌
So nice to see you, again, at the Show! Enjoyed chatting with you!
Thanks for attending this mega event. ….Tom
About 40 years ago,one of my teachers told me that I could never be a professional nurse, so just stop trying!… She was wrong!..I became a professional nurse and about 40 years later
I retired!…many times is better not to listen to some people !😠
.... not even if they mean well. Many don't, though. They are frustrated and jealous of youth and its unlimited opportunity.
Good for you ..Congrats
as an educator, please know that sometimes we say things like this to spur you on. reverse psychology works really well on teens. of course, some teachers are just mean-spirited.
@@arrasonlinereverse psychology didn’t work on me, it just discouraged me. bow encouragement doesn’t even help but really would have back then 😢
@@arrasonline Seems to me, whoever taught you that is either excusing bad behavior or shouldn't be teaching.
Could you explain the difference between an "educator" and a "teacher?"
Good job ! Read up on the older actors. Cat woman! Wow 😮
Another great vlog Mike! Thanks!
Thank you, great vlog. I cannot believe Barbara Eden is 92! Wow! Great you saw her in Dortmund as well. I lived in Soest, 1963=66, just up the road and our dentist was in Dortmund.
You're a good guy, GIV. Seriously. I get a lot of joy from watching your videos. The world needs more people like you, Sir. Please keep doing what you do and never change. Cheers!
This really brought back some memories of forgotten times . I was a little kid the last time I saw some of them.
Just keep doing
it Mike! You're English is great!! Your singing really made us Smile 🎶❤
I love you, GIV. You brighten up the day.
I am surprised you didn't vlog, "LA Pride?" Ricky Martin will be performing !!!!🎉 He sang, "Living La Vida Loca"🎉🎉
I love the different videos you share with us. I am so blessed that I found your channel. Thank you so much for all you do.
The lines just take alot of fun of the show. I would go into serious debt, and stand all day waiting just to meet Heather Thomas. Oh dear lord......I know some of the prices they charge is just ridiculous.
I always wanted to meet Barbra Eden. She was at a Michigan con. Her line was so long, they actually had a line to get in line! Im glad she's still making appearances God bless her. Thanks again.
I'm favoured, $27K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America.
As a beginner what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know any please share.
Yes! I'm celebrating £32K stock portfolio today...
Started this journey with £3K.... I've invested no time and also with the right terms, now I have time for my family an…
Started with 5,000$ and Withdrew profits
89,000$
I'm glad to write her tay I do hope she will help handle my paycheck properly☺️☺️☺️
Can I start with as low as $1,000?
Nice.. always interesting seeing these people you see your entire life. Good old Lindsay Wagner.. Looking fantastic at 74.. aging very well.
@germaninvenice Thanks for the fun video Mike! I went to Montessori, too! The "good morning to you song" we sang it every day along with the "Make new friends" song. I think Kerri Green and Barbara Eden look amazing! 💞
Almost 50 and I barely want to go out, so I have no idea how these old Celebs have the energy for people and stuff🤷♂
I have bad social anxiety and depression but I'd get out the bed and dressed to the 10's to make $1k-5K fee for a 8 hour appearance, x's that by 2-3 day event and x's that by 2-3 events per month x's 12 and you have made quite a nice yearly income boost!
Barbara Eden wow 92 she looks good. Blessed vibes
How cool!! Benny The Jet Urquidez. His fight scene with Jackie Chan is considered to be one of the best. Wish him good health for many years.
Good evening Michael, this sounds great. Thanks for sharing this.📸😎
Good Morning,
Good Morning to YOU Mike😊
Vielen Dank Micke fürs mitnehmen ✌🏻
Thanks, GIV. I do wish you would have taken a little more time with the "Land Of The Lost" table. I think I saw the girl who played Holly in the TV show. I had a little crush on her back then. Great stuff GIV.👍
Good morning Mike!!
