@@tedbanning9090 I can’t tell what is more disgusting. The abuse of power or the lack of consequences. A complete breakdown. Democrats are trying to be noble? For what? The crimes by the republicans are served up on a plate right in front of the face of the world and what happens? Nothing. Meanwhile the MAGAts invent lies that don’t even make sense, mock the constitution and ruin our democratice republic. That’s the propaganda game winning. Either way term limits for judges is necessary along with accountability. For me it’s not a as much about abortion as the abuse of power.

Because the SCOTUS does not have oversight! They are the only branch of government that does not! So, literally a supreme justice can be as corrupt as they want, without any repercussions! It’s BS!!

But how do you prove they lied?
"You said in your confirmation hearing you upheld the precedent of Roe V Wade but now you say you don't. Were you lying?"
"No. I changed my mind. My opinion has changed since then"
Unless they are on record stating otherwise, prior to their confirmation hearing, there's no way to prove otherwise.
It sucks but that's how it works. It's no different from Marjorie "Space Lasers" Greene stating "I don't recall" when asked about her prior activities. We all know she's lying and she absolutely CAN recall, but there's no way to prove it.

It's easy to get rid of a member of Congress with a 33% positive rating. In fact, they will probably announce they are not running for reelection. If the Court has a 33% positive rating and 67% negative, you still can't appeal their rulings to anywhere else (except to pass an amendment to the Constitution) and you can't replace them. Given that, it's important that they have a 67% positive rating or higher. We all have to adhere to their decisions, so it is important that everyone believe those decisions were arrived at honestly.

They should also endeavour to establish tests and standards of authenticity, and integrity. Like a job interview, the qualities will have to be demonstrated and competencies. Supreme Court Justices were in place for life during a time in history when most men didn't live past age 50. Having people in positions of power for life at this point is laughable. There should be term limits for all government political positions. 2 terms should be the maximum amount of time for everyone from the House and Senate. That is already in place for the President. A maximum of 8-12 years for each of the Justices should be in place as well.

    I'm not pro-“murdering babies”.
I'm pro-Becky who found out at her 20 week anatomy scan that the infant she had been so excited to bring into this world had developed without life sustaining organs.
I'm pro-Susan who was sexually assaulted on her way home from work, only to come to the horrific realization that her assailant planted his seed in her when she got a positive pregnancy test result a month later.
I'm pro-Theresa who hemorrhaged due to a placental abruption, causing her parents, spouse, and children to have to make the impossible decision on whether to save her or her unborn child.
I'm pro-little Cathy who had her innocence ripped away from her by someone she should have been able to trust and her 11 year old body isn't mature enough to bear the consequence of that betrayal.
I'm pro-Melissa who's working two jobs just to make ends meet and has to choose between bringing another child into poverty or feeding the children she already has because her spouse walked out on her.
I'm pro-Brittany who realizes that she is in no way financially, emotionally, or physically able to raise a child.
I'm pro-Emily who went through IVF, ending up with SIX viable implanted eggs requiring selective reduction in order to ensure the safety of her and a SAFE amount of fetuses.
I'm pro-Christina who doesn't want to be a mother, but birth control methods sometimes fail.
I'm pro-Jessica who is FINALLY getting the strength to get away from her physically abusive spouse only to find out that she is carrying the monster's child.
I'm pro-Vanessa who went into her confirmation appointment after YEARS of trying to conceive only to hear silence where there should be a heartbeat.
I'm pro-Lindsay who lost her virginity in her sophomore year with a broken condom and now has to choose whether to be a teenage mom or just a teenager.
I'm pro-Courtney who just found out she's already 13 weeks along, but the egg never made it out of her fallopian tube so either she terminates the pregnancy or risks dying from internal bleeding.
You can argue and say that I'm pro-choice all you want, but the truth is:
    I'm pro-life.
    Their lives.
    Women's lives.
You don't get to pick and choose which scenarios should be accepted.
Women's rights are meant to protect ALL women, regardless of their situation!
