Thanks for showing us around Ikea Phil, it will save me going next week to look at kitchens and sofas. I'm always a bit overwhelmed by the place, the confusing layout, the crowds, and the noise but may have to go soon. Their kitchen units are still the cheapest but still expensive for what they are. I once bought the biggest double kitchen sink from what used to be their bargain corner. It was temporarily discontinued while they refurbished their kitchen department, was brand new and boxed and I paid £35 for it, usual price was £175. I hadn't bargained for how heavy it was though, it weighed 75 pounds and I had to reinforce the sink unit. I think it was called the Domsjo farmhouse style sink. Also bought a massive wall unit from the bargain corner, it was ex display, I paid £20 for it it's usual price was nearly £300. Alas the old bargain corner had changed considerably last time I went and the bargains were not quite as cheap. I find the frozen foods they sell in their retail side quite odd. I know they want to keep the Swedish theme going but I've never met anyone who bought them a second time. Brave vid mate thanks.

That was a useful tour as I’m always interested in what is for sale, but hate crowds. One store you can’t go into without coming home with something. Havent actually been shopping there for a while but it is always a lovely atmosphere at Christmas time. Tfs
Thanks for showing us around Ikea Never been in the store !! We met a couple on holiday who worked for a company who supply them and told us it was crap even they wouldn't buy from them 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Blimey that toilet was a bit public, I'm not going in there 😂 Some of those cupboards were way too high for me, as I'm in a wheelchair and I have to use my helping hands grabber to reach cups. Thanks Phil for your video 👍
Yes they fit them that high for health and safety so when people are bending over the worktops to look at the goods, then they won't bang their heads on them. You can have them fitted as high or low as you want in your own home.
Hi Phil I like walking around IKEA if you look downstairs they sometimes sell some of the Display items at knock down prices I purchased an in-built electric oven for £157 and 3 Years later it's working ok and I like the meat balls all the best Paul
Thanks Paul, I did wonder in there but couldn't get around as there was too much pedestrian traffic, although the items in there were certainly NOT cheap
APOLOGIES FOR THE INTRO - Down to poor editing
You managed to find your way out !! Well done 😂😂
Yes, I got out eventually!!

Many thanks TS always avoid this place on weekends especially a Sunday. The queues are horrendous.

Very true, glad all my Christmas shopping is now done as I am far from being a fan of the madness of crowds
Thanks for the video Phil, exciting as usual, you’ve saved me a bit of retail therapy this week 🤣😂☺️
Pleased I could help 😆
The FH Lloyd gates are situated on the left side as you drive up the access road towards the Chestnut Tree pub, next to Ikea.
I remember those gates but I wouldn't have had a clue now has to where they were so many thanks for the info
Oh my! flashbacks of visiting wednesbury Ikea in the 90s and then trying to assemble a bloody futon...took hours and i never got it to fold properly!
I was the same with a wardrobe but in my case it took days and not hours!!
@@awalkwithphiland have you noticed that there is always a screw or bolt missing 🤣
Or a wardrobe that always finished up looking like a garden shed lol.

I bought an artificial plant once and religiously watered it every week for quite a while! Sad or what?
