      Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been really busy lately with work the kids home schooling and getting things done around the house now that we have warm weather. Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it.

      Thank you Paul! It is very useful for me, only thing is I think I should’ve used a bit of a lighter stain but this one kinda matches the leg being close to black. I used and espresso color for the stain.

    Was looking for a dinner idea for tonight on pit boss. Might do this and cut them up for wraps or tacos. Looks good. 👍

    I was beginning to think you gave up on the Classic with all the videos you were doing on the 7. Have you ever used the grill feature on the Classic? Good to see your front shelf in action. I’m really glad I added the side shelf to mine. Makes her a bit long but like the extra room for trays and stuff. Good looking chicken.

    I enjoy the videos Paul! Just bought the PB 1100. Where are you from with all that snow in your other videos?

      @@paulsq_ We don't get much snow here in south Louisiana. I couldn't imagine cooking outside in it. Anything below 50 F is considered cold here ha!

      I wish I had your weather here. It sucks freezing in the winter here but I don’t let that stop me from making great bbq for the family.

    Just got mine. Did you take your sear cover off and foil the heat shield or did you keep the sear cover on and foil both?

    • @paulsq_
      @paulsq_  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Jor1979, you have to leave the sear cover on to cover with foil. If you take the cover off you’ll just burn a hole through the foil with the open flame below, which could cause the foil to melt and create a mess you don’t really want to clean off the heat deflector.

  • @texasseniorskayakfishing9223
    @texasseniorskayakfishing9223 4 роки тому

    I noticed you have covered the heat deflector with foil. Is this for the ease of cleaning or another reason.

    • @paulsq_
      @paulsq_  4 роки тому +1

      I cover the deflector plate just for the ease of cleaning. It serves no other purpose. Thanks for watching and your question
