The FADEC access panels on the engine inlets are on the wrong side. Also when you power up you have to wait for the aircraft to do its electric PBIT test (FLT CTRL TEST IN PROG on EICAS) to finish and then do the hydraulic PBIT test by turning your hydraulics to on in the order of 3A, 1, then 2. You get the same FLT CTRL TEST IN PROG message and once it goes out you're good to start
I don't know if it's modeled in this (probably not and probably never will) but in the flight control page on the top left there's the 2 things for pbits and they have the number 50. Those are hours so every pbit resets the time back to 50 and if the time gets too low the plane won't be happy and you'll get a "PBIT EXPIRED" message and it will force you to reset electrical power to rest the pbit. The electrical one is the one that will get lowest since the pilots turn all the hydraulics on before every flight but usually won't shut down the whole plane when they reach the gate and get ground power. It's an easy thing to miss if you don't check the page but just need to shut the whole plane off, wait maybe a minute and fire it back up again and let it do the pbit.

My understanding is that it’s backed by Aerosoft? Or I may be mistaken. I bought into the H145 very early on based on the looks of their freeware. One of the best addons available so long as you enjoy the whirly things!
@@qqqqhuz He's buying into an early access product. How are the devs lazy for releasing something which is very clearly in a Beta stage? Is TFDi lazy because they sold a MD-11 before you can even fly it, a whole 6 months before people can get early access to it at the latest.
@@qqqqhuz It's pretty simple- I am a dad and simply don't have the time for VATSIM (I have to pause the sim often due to the toddlers). But I also yearn for realism. So, I only fly real flights. Most times I'll even try to fly using the proper a/c registrations. There's a lot of E-jet routes I'd love to fly in the sim, so if this thing works from point A to B, I will lower my standards for it. I am pushing 40, and do quite well for myself, so $35 to me is not a lot of money. Totally understand that for some, that's not the case, and certainly don't begrudge anyone for not buying this plane. Bottom line- if we don't have this for MSFS, what, or when will we get one? It could take years.
@@qqqqhuz Also one other point: if it is truly, TRULY rubbish at its advertised price point, I don't mind being a guinea pig for it at $35. I make videos on the side on another channel that is slowly gaining some steam, and should it be total trash, I will join the line of content creators warning people off of it. At $35, I'm willing to experiment.
I don't do airliners. Only only I fly is the concord however this looks like I need to get it. They look relatively more simple to use than the boeing I bought. Not sure how true that is as I don't know a lot but it just looks like a step up before those sorts of planes and I like that. But this quality is beautiful, looks stunning.
I think Beta is misleading to be honest.. at a Beta phase you are focusing on bug fixing and final touches, this looks in an early development phase, based on their roadmap.
The version I reviewed here was not the ‘early access’ release version, but a beta of it. Technicalities I know but the terminology is accurate. As it’s releasing as early access to customers, it will not be feature complete and likely will have bugs along the way. It looks like it’s supposed to be a community involved thing.
@@cgaviator Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated. So if I get it right, it is a beta of an early access version and not a beta of a final product? That would be a new concept, at least for me, and a significant difference with what we are usually used to.
@@SimJoy compared to what the hopeful eventual final product would be, most devs would consider with this is to be an alpha. So it is an opportunity to be involved Early Access with their alpha development.

What exactly about that is a "good foundation"? The great 3D model, which they sourced from an external developer, or what exactly?
Always really annoys me that developers for the Embraer seem to put a few business class seats at the front because USA based carriers have it, yet most airlines in Europe don't.
Outside model is nice. Only thing can say about it. $40 for a beta of an early access with nothing that actually works... so is that early early access? Wouldnt surprise me if they take the money and dissapear.
Just to be clear, the version I was using was technically beta. The release version of the early access shouldn’t have bugs per say (most if not all releases have bugs). It’s all about whether you have faith they’ll follow through. There have been quite a few early access releases that started with a lot of scepticism (C414, H145) that turned out fantastic. But I understand it’s not for everyone.
How you can rate such an obvious cash grab so high is baffling. The 3D Detail you see and like so much is not even done by FSS, but X-Craft, a X-Plane developer who sold/licensend out the 3D model to FSS. This airliner has no TCAS, no speed tape, no VNAV, no Terrain Radar, no Weather Radar, no LFE etc. etc. etc., in addition to wrongfully simulated parts of the systems. This product should be named and shamed, thats all. At no cost should it be acceptable, to sell something so highly unfinished as this pos.
Apart from CG mentioning about the model not being produced by FSS but X-Craft, it's also very clearly listed as early access (Did you even watch the video?). If you checked the website can see these features you've mentioned being on the roadmap to be added. Why are you so personally offended by this product?
@@andrew412 I watched the livestream and nearly puked a few times. If EA decides to release unfinished versions of Battlefield that is one subject, but the flightsim community should not accept such sales behaviours - period. And yes, i checked the website. Please tell me, how does this statement sound, when keeping in mind that most of the crucial systems aren´t functional at all? "Most of the auto-logic has already been implemented in the Early Access version. All normal-ops procedures can be performed without any problems and the system status can be monitored on the EICAS." That is simply a lie by the dev, and such actions should be named and shamed.
The auto logic I think is reference to the aeroplane systems being mostly automatic. I have done a startup video and I could follow the checklist they provided with only the fire test missing. Granted I didn’t dig into AP or MCDU. It would be great if all the products were complete on release. But I’ve bought early access a few times and been pleased by the final result. At the end of the day, people can vote with their feet/wallets.
The aircraft tires too full of air… like about to explode… tires usually not pumped all the way and the weight of the plane will cause it to look a bit deflated
I'm running away from this developer and product as fast as I can. Another money grab and nothing more. And you personally should be ashamed of your touting this product.
People can vote with their feet and their wallets of course. I’ve bought into early access products before and have been pleased. Of course those wanting the final version can wait. It’s a win win and people make their own choices. I’m sorry you feel so strongly
I am big Fan of your Hawk Videos. They provide a unique perspective on Low Level Military Flight, never seen before. But this one here is just plain Product Placement without any depth in it. There are already enough content creators that just promote whatever they get. Not sure why you are moving in that direction.
No direction, I just liked the product. Please don’t think I get sponsored for these videos. I though it was a fun jet. Whenever I hear early access I assume a lot is missing so focus on the fun stuff. Sorry you feel this way
34-40 for an early access from a Dev that lies on their website and makes up claims like how "vnav isn't used in the real world."? No thanks. I'd rather not give them a penny, especially if they can just run away with the cash and never deliver. For the same amount, you can get the PMDG 737-600 or for about 20 dollars more than Fenix A320. What a joke.
Good point about the 737-600, that’s a great aeroplane! I have faith they’ll follow through, and I also think they’ll have to include vnav as the people have spoken! But the good thing about early access… people don’t have to buy it. They can wait and see. So fingers crossed it turns into something amazing.
Fingers crossed it ain't a study level aircraft. I'm so tired of those and they keep releasing more. Flight sim just switches from flying to reading manual simulator..
Haha.. you’re right! I fly MSFS more than DCS at the moment because it’s tricky to get the most out of DCS without a lot of studying. I’m currently learning about F15Es!
Not impressed at all, has a long, long way to go, confused as to why anyone would think that night lighting was good though - default aircraft are far better than that. Guess we'll see in about a year if it's just a cash grab or not.
It’s all personal preference and opinion. I love the lighting! (And I’m not paid or prompted to say that!). I’m not sure where this cash grab suggestion is coming from. Sure, it’s not impossible, but I doubt they’ll make enough money at this stage to cover expenses. So the more likely outcome is they take their time to make it good. But I totally understand that the business model isn’t for everyone.
I think personally I would wait until it is in a much more finished state in terms of the system fidelity, but visually I have to say it is really quite stunning. Definately one to keep on my radar a bit further down the line

@@qqqqhuz He's buying into an early access product. How are the devs lazy for releasing something which is very clearly in a Beta stage? Is TFDi lazy because they sold a MD-11 before you can even fly it, a whole 6 months before people can get early access to it at the latest.
Each to their own Bits2Bytes. I wouldn’t try and make others think your way. Just be happy some like it, and when it’s finished, you might to 😉
@@qqqqhuz It's pretty simple- I am a dad and simply don't have the time for VATSIM (I have to pause the sim often due to the toddlers).
I found the 737 more complicated and this is a nice level for those who want to get involved in short flights
@@SimJoy 👍🏻 Yes you’re absolutely right, this is a beta version of an early access model! 🤣
@@SimJoy compared to what the hopeful eventual final product would be, most devs would consider with this is to be an alpha. So it is an opportunity to be involved Early Access with their alpha development.
No this is alpha. I won’t buy promises. You want my money you got to release a better product than this.
Give it a year 🤞🏻
Oh and yea I will probably buy it since it’s the only plane i like flying
My favourite is the Q400 but there's a long wait for that one!
I know this is a early access but I'm thinking of buying just to see how better it currently is with the current one I already have in the game, and this plane is used at my local airport for flights to Amsterdam so would like to fly a better version of this model
Didn’t know there was another version. Is that the virtuacol one or however it’s written?
@@cgaviator hahah not sure, not on the game atm but I do already have a 175 and 190 for msfs. Brought them off the msfs market
@@antonwrightphotography4133 oh, well I hope this one is a suitable step up!
I find it hilarious that the best features of this plane was made by xcrafts and not ffs
They only got the 3D model I think. Texturing, animations etc are FSS
@@cgaviator that is the best part lol
Will this release on Xbox?
I would make an assumption that it would. But that’s only a guess. It may be on their website road map
I'm in.
Looks like this could be a great add-on.
It’s got the potential. A good foundation. They just need to build on it now.
@@cgaviator No TCAS, no Weather Radar, no Terrain Radar, no Holdings, no VNAV, no EGPWS, no way to switch between inHG and HPA for Baro etc. etc. etc.
You call that a "good foundation"? What exactly about that is a "good foundation"? The great 3D model, which they sourced from an external developer, or what exactly?
@@qqqqhuz not even starting with the bugs
Always really annoys me that developers for the Embraer seem to put a few business class seats at the front because USA based carriers have it, yet most airlines in Europe don't.
So it doesn’t have a business class? Guess it wouldn’t make sense for a small regional jet to take up valuable space
@@cgaviator USA carriers have it, but in Europe we don't because it's just not worth it.
DARK CABIN OPTION
Beautiful for night landings
just sayin
I bet! Need to fly over some business cities at night
A modern day Tex Johnston, I love it! Looks very promising so far, and will only get even better.
My thoughts exactly… a great start only getting better with age!
It’s very well modeled tho 😅
😂 I get your point, but I wouldn’t by a brown clay model unless an artist had painted an rendered it nicely
All normal-ops procedures can be performed without any problems and the system status can be monitored on the EICAS."
That is simply a lie by the dev, and such actions should be named and shamed.
Quite the eye for detail lol 👍🏻
Sorry you feel this way
remember when beta testers were free, now we all pay for unfinished products? lol
Way of the software world these days
they forgot to add the plane 💀💀💀
😂
Day 1 of Commenting randomly on videos related to aviation
Elephants!
This product is releasing a year too early, what is this?
I get to mess around with it for a year before those who want it more study level get to play with it 👍🏻
So don’t buy it lol
@@camhackett44 I won't be
Not impressed at all, has a long, long way to go, confused as to why anyone would think that night lighting was good though - default aircraft are far better than that.
