Hi Nicole: love listening to you. Your voice is so soothing. Your recipes are so easy to follow. My husband & I don’t eat any seafood. But the rest of your recipes we love. Thank you. Watch you all the time.
You're awesome, I'm going home after work and follow your recipe, I really like the way you explain in detail, straight to the point I like your style 😋❤️
It can also help if you spread the p&d shrimp out to increase the surface area. Put 'em on paper towels so that they dry big and flat. That's what we used to do a long time ago (aka the Golden Age) at LJS.
I don't have any bread crumbs, gonna try corn meal. Wish me luck. I like your style, kinda chilled and laid back, someone easy to be friends or neighbors with. Gonna subscribe right now. Thanks for the recipe.
You are a genius. Less seasoning definitely equals more delicious shrimp flavor . Also you can take your leftover panko mix it with the leftover egg add in the flavors you like ,garlic ,onion powders ,tiny bit of sweetner ,baking powder ,salt and mix it up for great hush puppies.
If you pop your breaded shrimp into the fridge for 15-20 minutes or freezer for 10-15 minutes before frying, you’ll find the coatings stay more “stuck” to the shrimp as you place ‘em into the hot oil & while the shrimp fry .., just a little helper thing😉… L O V E CRISPY FRIED SHRIMP in the SUMMERTIME or anytime !!! YUU-U-UUMMM😋
This has become my favorite cooking channel since finding it two weeks ago. But as someone who lived on the Gulf Coast for a big portion of his life, I've got to add a few extra tips. First, it pains me to see someone just bite off at the tail, leaving all that good shrimp meat under the tail! When you get to that bite, just pinch the tail at the base where the little fins start, and give it a little tug. That little chunk of meat will just pop out with the rest of your bite. And it shows everyone else that you know what you are doing. Secondly; it's a major faux-pas to not devein the shrimp before breading/cooking. NEVER leave that little black vein in there...it's shrimp poop and has a very gritty texture and will never be a perfect bite. Thirdly; and the point was made in another comment too, you shouldn't refreeze shrimp if it's been frozen before. USDA says it's ok if the food was thawed in the refrigerator, but shrimp loses so much of it's quality if you refreeze (cells break down faster, etc). And 99% of the shrimp sold has been frozen, so unless you are getting that shrimp early in the morning right off the docks at Joe Patti's, it's been frozen.
Was trying to find where I write to you to ask you if you would make liver and onions. My mom always made calf liver and she always made it come out tender. Sometimes when I get it someplace else it's kind of rough.

Yummy I am gonna try it today,. I did try but a single coat of semolina or cornflour
Looks great! I would only add that if you buy the shrimp frozen and then thaw and bread them, DO NOT re-freeze them for later.

Defo given that a try. I'm going to do a fisherman's basket
For the first time ever I think I can fry shrimp. However, in our house, the tails go to the dogs! :)
Love it simple and easy❤
Looks so good, it's killin' me! ✔👍😜😎
Looks Yummy .. Thanks 🙂👍
Doing this!
Everything tastes better fried, including shrimp tails. 😃🍤
Thanks
Am I the only one who eats the tail?
We suck the meat out of the tail!
No, you are not. 🍤😀
Hey can recommend a good Dutch oven to purchase. Something good for the oven and stove top.
I need seasoning with my shrimp..and air frying shrimp turns them soggy and to rubber..
Happy 4th Nicole!!💙🇺🇸♥️
The description says you fry them twice. Did i miss something?
Great videos, well explained! The constant hand gesturing is distractive though and unnecessary.
How about making a real Spanish chickpea stew with marinara?
🤲💯🤟⭐
