This helped a lot, being 13 I do some pretty dumb this, I wanted to close the door but I didn’t realize it was locked with a button clip, so I pushed too hard and it broke loose, thankfully I fixed the door, my mom forgave me, and my dad was asleep when it all happened so hopefully he won’t find out
Watched your video as our new R-Pod's pocket door was falling off on every leg; latches would not stay locked around the post. I want to thank you for explaining it so clearly. Once we got the post back into the slots, we used small white zip ties to encircle the post and loop under the downward curving portion of the latch thus securing it on.
You're welcome. That's genius using zip ties like that! I think everyone should have zip ties on hand. Hopefully you don't have any more issues. Thanks for watching!
Your video really helped us understand what was going on with our pocket door. Unfortunately we have an overhang around the track and had to get creative to get it back together. You video definitely helped.
Awesome video but on my RV pocket door it was the roller itself that broke (one of the 3 wheels). Wish your video had covered how to get the roller out/put the new one in!
Oh man, that requires a lot more work. I've know people that have had to pulled their whole wall apart to get that track off. I hope you got it figured out as they are all different.
Mine didn’t pull out of the door, but the clip came loose. Once when I got to the campsite, next when I got home, fell off again, lol. I’m hoping Jayco built my door with real wood framing, not MDF. That stuff will not hold a screw, and shame on them for building this way.
How much could they really save with MDF over wood top piece? Then factor in just one warranty claim and they lost 10 times more than they saved. I wish they would consult with me, I’d get them straight, lol
@@jerrytalley802 I have that same conversation all the time. Last I remember when MDF used to be the expensive stuff and framing studs and 2x4s were cheaper. It still doesn't make sense.
Thank you. It made understanding how it worked and repairing my door a simple task.
You're welcome.

Ha, this is the greatest comment! I'm glad I could help and you got it all figured out. I'm 37 and still do dumb stuff, so don't worry about it.

I subscribed too, thanks
Thank you!
I missed where you said where you found the new hardware for the top of the door.
You can click on the chapter for the details of the hardware, but I picked these up at ACE. They'd probably have them at most hardware stores.
Did you get a new Camper or have multiple?
This is my in-law's trailer. We just got back from a 2400 mile road trip and this door was a casualty.
couldn't you just make new holes on the top with same size screw?
Yeah, but the brackets would be in a new spot. I don't know if that is enough to change how the door works, so I bet that would be perfectly fine.

Good luck, I hear Jaycos are built pretty well.
Well, I just looked and mine is MDF, Arrrrgggghhhh!, lol
@@jerrytalley802 it'll never make sense.
