Congrats Chet & Jean-Marie. 🎉
14:40 😂😂😂 Brody been getting his mitts dirty. Good job, fellas.
Congrats on your marriage, Chet! She seems like such an amazing lady. May you two have a long and wonderful life together.
These farm boys don't play, someone's taking the nut. Chet is no exception, he needs farmhands!
Hey, that’s awesome. Chet is married again.
@@bradolsen8629yea congrats to you Chet .
What about the one that died or was that all fake news?
@@Trump751you are a cold hearted human being no your not even human
Think we should start calling Brodie Mr Clean. He's the main reason everything looks as good as it does.
Awesome video guys. 🚜🚜🚜
Congratulations to Jean & Chet!
Here is to many, many years of happiness!
If you can, maybe a picture or two from
the happy nuptials?
Poor Dumpy sitting there all neglected watching Brody giving all this love and attention to the Pete and thinking “I could shine too with all that attention from Brody” 😢🫤
Great work everyone. Hats off to Brodie. Excellent job.
you guys are so blessed to have Brodie and Chris on the team. theyre both good natured and compliment your whole operation. merry christmas from Canada.
You need to run a 7018 stick rod and put a lot of heat in it before welding
Truck looks awesome with all the polished chrome and new rims and tires. Congratulations on the marriage.
You boys have waaay to much fun.
Brody is truly The Beast CleanMaster! 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Can we have a before and after-small tutorial of something that REALLY needs cleaning one day-
please and thank you!
I was surely thinking you were going to have to drag the machine back to the shop and have to tell Mr. Dougo that the StRuGgLe 🚌 is hanging on a little longer.(so disappointing 😂)
Chris has it all on video because HE knew at some point He would be thrown under the bus!!(very. Very Smart!)
You all have made this an enjoyable year for us while still working through some difficult situations!!!
I am wishing everyone a very Happy & Prosperous New 2024‼️ God Bless!❤
🚌Since we all feel like we help “work” on the farm…WILL BE HAVING A COMPANY PARTY?😂😂
Just asking for a friend?!?!?! LOL😂😂
Brody sure does a nice job polishing
Great job as always !!!
Chris's shirts never disappoint 🤣
Y’all are awesome to watch Merry Christmas and god bless
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you

Great video as always. Congratulations on your wedding!! May you have many years together!!
Got your shirt for a Christmas present, I’m a very happy camper. Happy Holidays Larson and crew☃️
you guys are always killing it and dealing with what ever comes at you be safe god bless
Happy New year larson farms
The problem with the pin. It’s a harder steel. Welding it doesn’t work as it’s immediate failure due to higher carbon content at the weld zone.
Merry Christmas to you and your family
Put a large compression spring on the end of the tube hitch to take up the shock.
No
Keep it up Brody! Glad to see someone polishing them wheels on that nice equipment finally.
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all, congratulations on your marriage to you both also, god bless
Thanks for sharing god bless
Chet Eric Broodie and Chris that was great looks great thank you guys Broodie that polished wheel is outstanding thank you all for the great video can't wait for next video
My all time favorite video is the time Jean and you were in Mexico. That was very nice and heartwarming
After that yellow cutting pad, you can go with a white cotton wheel with white compound.
Big B is doing a awesome job looks very nice
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR
Chet you and the crew are so fun to watch. Awesome on the marriage, i had the same thing happen to me years ago,17, glad you found each other. Keep up the good work and I'll keep watching. Young at heart 78 year old. Wishing you a great new year.
Great farmer fix Outstanding
Dumpy has been a great addition to your farm!
Congratulation on your wedding !! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ! I love your youthful enthusiasm reminds me in my late 20's -early 30's farming until 4 years of bad weather, poor crops almost broke me mentally and financially millions in debt and have to work your way out of it ! I did it but it was tough ! Good Luck with the New Wife ! She's a looker !
Such good care of your equipment. Team work makes the dream work. Even when things go south it seems everything is under control. Thank you for sharing.🐂
The polish results look.amazing.
Hey Brodie. Those wheels looked great. You guys have added a great new hand in Chris. Cool video 👍❤️
I got a Larson Farms hat for Christmas it’s very cool. Larson Farms was the very first farming channel that I watched on you tube, when I seen those quad tracks I thought they were awesome so I kept watching and got hooked lol hope y’all all the very best be safe.
Amazing job on the getting a trailer home and tell Brody he's a good detailer kudos to all guys
thank you
First of all~~~ Congratulations to Chet and Jean on their recent nuptials! ❤ I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too! Your videos are always interesting! My husband and I farmed from 1973 to 1993. It is so different now especially with the machinery! Keep the good videos coming! Until your next one~~~ Stay safe, healthy, warm and happy! 🚜🚛 🚚 🚜
Wishing you the very best on your marriage. Chris is doing a fantastic job on polishing the chrome on that truck.
Great work Brody. I’ve done that on my motor home wheels.
Keep up the good work
Congrats on the wedding Chet. Hope you and mrs have many years of happiness
Great video and nice engineering on the cart hitch. I’d suggest adding some plug welds on the hitch too.
Good video, nice job Brody. Lucky to have Chris added to the team, nice how Eric just laughs off his failure when it’s not his equipment. Then Eric will complain about how much he works. Happy Holidays guys!
I love watching your videos. both of my parents are from south west Minnesota.
I used to help my uncle with corn harvest down around trimont. He retired three years ago. I did it for 20 years.
I miss combining corn .
He had a John Deere 9510
Congrats to the marriage and best wishes.
Congratulations on your marriage best wishes and all the luck and love to you both
Nice job polishin Brody! Might want to get a set of safety flanges for the buffing wheel. Hate to see the buff wheel come off at a high rate of speed
Great video
To fix that hitch, you could make a new longer pin. Thread the end and put a large nut on it.
Probably the better fix…
VERY NICE
Thanks for another great video Chet. It was interesting.
Good job Brody on cleaning and policing the chrome on the gray truck. It looks extremely shiny. You did great Brody. You really do good at cleaning equipment up and looking like new. You did great!!!!!!
Sorry the hitch on dumpy broke again. I agree with you Chet that you need a heavy duty welder to fix the problem once and for all. A heavy duty welder will penetrate the steel and get a better weld. Bet that mobile welding man can fix you up.
What a great team of guys. Chet and Chris and Eric and Brody make a super team. They get the job done. Great teamwork.
Thanks for everything Chet. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Spoken like a true farm kid....."close enough", "what could possibly go wrong?"
Good stuff guys
Good job Brody
Brodie does awesome work
On know on some of the newer stuff you can’t hardly do it but on our when it’s cold I kick on the pto it seems to help heat the oil up a little quicker or that could just be in my head
great video
👍 Thanks
Hat’s off to Brody on polishing. It is a job that you absolutely have to have patience for. Is a heck of a workout on and have accidentally got my hand polished 🤦🏻♂️😂. That hurts when you nick the skin and the black in beds into skin. I guess you could match that up to a road rash wound feeling.
On your cart don’t weld it, it will continue to break. Just a suggestion get a longer hitch rod made with a big collar that fits over the end (like a lock collar for a bearing but on steroids) and drill a hole that fits a 1-1/2” grade 10 bolt double lock nut with lock tight that’s how we fixed that problem on a similar cart and it’s held now for 7 years.
I think Chris is bomb proof. Nothing rattles him
I'd drill out and tap end of shaft to take a 1.5 in grade 8 bolt and washer then weld shaft in then, install the bolt and washer.
Brody looks very handsome with his nice haircut and beard 😊 I laugh about how invested I am in your videos, [ am a retired nurse ,I have never farmed, but I feel I could now!! At the Larson farm of course!! What a great team, I am ready for planting season..😊 Hey how did you guys do with this yrs harvet? Was it ok or above normal? ( hugs)
Chris has brought good ole' Iowa ingenuity to Minn. (yes, I live in Iowa).
Machine a new shaft for the hitch and make it so a large nut will thread onto the end of the shaft versus welding.
If you want it to really shine and last you have to put on the finishing pass with the white buffing wheels using red rouge
I want to wish you and the whole crew a Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year try to stay out of mud no good for the video how do you like to see you guys going to feel about getting stuck haha Merry Christmas to the whole crew and the family Merry Christmas
It’s been my way of thing when I farmed it seamed if I worked frozen ground it kinda soured the dirt and it never grew as good as before
What kind of grapple is that? Thanks love your videos!
the black bar is for stainless - usually with a red buff. The orange buff should be used with tripoli (brown) on the first cut. You're right with the yellow/green, the final after that would be white/white or white/blue
I love Chris' shirts!
Order a the front part of a hitch from an amity beet lifter and then just get a plate welded onto the trailer. 10x better and very heavy duty!
Chet been welding for over 20 years and for the future you guys can weld some pretty thick metal but you have to prep it first. Bevel both sides down and then fill it back up with weld letting it cool between every pass or so keeping it from getting too hot and you will do what the mobile guy is gonna do.... If you really need it to get in there preheat it as well to like 250ish degrees before starting welds.
Swear by it,,, same as Nathan on Boarder View Farms... Griots Ceramic Wash and Coat.... best foam product you will ever use... hands down!!!
looking at the way the hitch failed with this video and the other one, if it has another failure maybe look at getting the vertical supports on the tongue cut off and welded back on where the part the hitch bolts on to is one solid piece of steel vs a few welded together, wouldn't be cheap but would be strong
should have 7018 stick rod . like for welding pipe . mig welds do not hold up under heavy vibration .
It’s fun to see Chris get more comfortable with the camera he is a good addition.
Brody
Have you ever considered using magic erasers with super clean, simple green or your choice of cleaner. On the SS before polishing.
I have experience that in combined they really helps cut through the tarnish before buffing and polishing.
When changing filters on the Paccar. Do one at a time or you will have sooo much fun starting again.
When you get enough snow need to see some sled vids
Love it
Magnifique vidéo et les tracteur et le matériel agricole et sont bien équipés 😂😮😅😊
7018 stick
, holds up to shock better then hard wire
uses to start the pto and lets the tractor run at about 1000 rpm
then the oil heats up faster and you get a pleasant warmth in the cab
Need a wheel polisher like Tony Fast has!
The safety chain worked mostly. Grt it welded better and/or replace the Eye with a new threaded one with a big spring to absorb the shock and a huge nut and Cotter pin and Key. 14:25
No thanks
Brody is looking like Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder.
Put a pin through the shaft and hitch on dumpy. That will keep it from sliding out of welds break.
It wast the load, it was cumulative loads, cold metal and vibration from bouncing over the frozen ground! You contact Miller and get a new welder sent over that you can really lay the heat into and you will get full penetration! In the old days they preheated the metals to get deeper penetration but modern welders and inverter technology allow you to weld without pre heating if you are set up to do so!
Merry Christmas and happy new year thank u for all u do....
I think I would have a machine shop thread that hitch piece for a large fine thread nut.
Man, that Brodie is GOOOD!! Just turn him loose, hide and watch, and stay out of the way. That way, no body gets hurt!! GO BRODIE!!
Why are you not using a Holland Bolt On Swivel Eye similar to HOLLAND DB-1407. ? Very easy to install and no welding needed
