Chris is definitely a hard-working man hopefully he comes back every season to help you guys he's in there right with you working to get things fixed so you can get the show back on the road
After I get home from my job and have supper, I check UA-cam first to see if the Larsons released a new video! Religiously!!! You are my people and I so enjoy the Larsons and friends sharing their lives with me through UA-cam. Thanks again!
Chet I was glad to hear you enjoy making these videos, I so look forward to your next one and Dougo's and Amy's. As an ex farmboy I am living vicariously through your family. So enjoyable, thank you!!
I always enjoy your videos Chet, you do a great job! Glad the "boys" from Iowa are doing a great job & Chris seems very knowledgeable! Hang in there Dougo!
Always enjoy them Chet. Thanks for sharing. Chris is a natural on camera and seems to be very comfortable around the equipment and getting things done. …except that whole crowbar thing that we’re not talking about 😅😅
Excellent my farm family! Things I would never know, see or experience without being on the journey with Larson Farms!!! We see it all here! The good, The bad and The well…You Know‼️🙃🤪(as Mr. Dougo says) I can’t wait for tomorrows video and see the ending saga of 2023 “CORN HARVEST LARSON FARMS”.
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie Chris that was great Chet Dougo the explanations on the dryer Dougo could not explain it better and Chet on the combine and fire system on the grain cart and snouts on the folding head thanks for the info and great video where else can you see the equipment working and damages that happen really great.
O my goodness what a great video all kinds of treasures found on the combine and the bin site yikes yea that’s definitely a no camera zone holy cow bless y’all be safe
topic for a show when things hit winter - might be interesting to explain how farming someone else's property works out - who bears what costs / profits etc - likewise how custom harvesting works with the money, repairs etc. It seems with the extreme capital costs, doing custom for each other to spread some portion of costs out would make a lot of sense. ?
Chet's mindset and ability to roll with stuff has always amazed me ..for all he's been through, and he can manage to chuckle over costing himself over a grand. I honestly admire the young man
I know Chet and Crew don’t reply to comments, but I just wanted to say Thank You for the opportunity to watch these videos. Speaking for myself, they are highly enjoyable and actually keep me motivated to work harder. Not to put anyone on a pedestal, but thanks. Hope God Blesses us all.
Not sure of Chris’s background but You need to keep that Man Chris around for sure. He Seems to know what needs to be done and just goes ahead and starts without being asked or told.
Dougo is my hero. Especially with food. Bologna time is great. Two slices of white bread, bologna, American cheese, lettuce and a light mayo sauce! Perfection!!!
Your videos are my entertainment each evening while the wife watch’s cooking shows watch farm videos. At 73 remember the days as a child helping my farming neighbor but that was in the 50 & 60’s Thanks again. If your grandfather or uncle in the 80’s worked with software companies to help tractors with fertilizer and seed we supplied the hardware. I thought they were doing this in Iowa at the time.
It is good to hear that you enjoy making the videos because we enjoy watching the. Thank you . Hope things get better and stay that way. Funny how Chris is learning Eric's signature sound.
Awesome video, lots of people would never understand the struggles of corn harvest or crop harvest without your videos. Thanks so much for sharing the info. The struggle bus sure has visited you this farm. I can’t watch see the clean up videos
Smart keeping the tracks clean everyday. Down here in south Louisiana, track failures are a constant issue. Especially waiting to clean once mud dries. NO FUN!
Thanks for another great video Chet. It was interesting. That vac machine you all got sure works good cleaning up the bin sites. Makes that kind of job a lot easier. Good machine to have. That last field you were in really was muddy with water standing. Glad no one got stuck. Bad conditions to work in. The fire hose on the grain cart works good for getting the mud off the combine tracks. Good feature to have. Sorry that Dougo is having so much trouble with the grain dryers. Has to be frustrating. Hang in there Dougo. Hopefully they will run better tomorrow for you. About it I guess. Thanks for everything everyone. You all take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Always good job with videos Chet . Everyone make mistakes it’s when ur man enough to own up to it that shows what kind of person you are. G I’d bless all farmers and ur family
@@anthonyhengst2908 I didn't even know it went thru. Was looking for it by the header, gave up and walked away past the back of the combine oh there it is. I don't think there was damage besides maybe a couple chopper knives. Quite a few years ago, maybe JD 9600.
:" Temper it is the only thing you can't lose by losing it." Dougo's nuggets of wisdom.
Chris, what a star. Unsung hero this harvest getting things done.
why do you say so ? The new harvesters are truly called heroes

DOT tape (the red/white stuff) on rotating shafts work great day or night
Chet you do a Great Job With The Video's
Chet, about those snoots, it could have been much worse. It could always be worse. I once broke a gathering chain and ran it through the feeder house.
I ran one all the way thru and out the chopper.
@@lynwessel2471 ouch.... Fortunately for me all I did was tear up one of the concaves.
