The thing that confuses me about this scene, is why was Picard looking to make sure his gun was up in the air, but on the next shot he was behind the car again? Wouldn’t he just keep looking to make sure Reacher doesn’t do this exact thing?

Having read 15 Reacher novels, i can say that Alan Ritchson is perfect for this role. He is just as i imagined Reacher to be when i started reading Killing Floor.

Okay, it’s Reacher.
He can puncture the sidewall of a tire with a fork; something that a sharp knife couldn’t do so easily.
tire tech here, its more so about the hardness of the object, a sharp flimsy knife will flex with the rubber more. Yah need a good piece of steel that won't give and bend. Depends on the tire too some have terrible sidewalls and I learned that the hard way. It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility but it would be much more viable with say a ham fork

@@James-bv4nu For these tires yes, for a bigger truck tire I doubt it would even go all the way through. Its tread, then belts and cords, then an inner rubber casing. A flat tire is only flat if it makes it past the steel or nylon belts. The inner casing is what actually holds the air.
Everyone complaining about a fork in a tire... If they went with a steak knife with his strength it would be realistic, but the directors/writers put in that he only orders peach pie at a diner, so what kind of diner serves peach pie with a steak knife? he just took the sharpest thing he had available, not realistic but still arguably good writing, what is realistic these days?

Yeah I totally forgot that height is the only important part of an actor's ability. Ritchson himself has stated that this show wouldn't exist if not for Cruise getting people interesting in the character on screen.
