Thanks brother, getting ready for mowing season once again. The local stihl dealer we trusted in town closed, so i figured id take a whack at it. Seems easy peasy. Last year, our 111 didn't want to rev high by the time fall came around so ill check the valves and then tweak the carb if needed.
My dad bought one of these and he feels cheated he has a newer echo 26cc that has more power he was a long time sthil user and all of his equipment got stolen and he never thought he would be able to afford stihl well about 8 years go by and he decided again that maybe he could get back into the stihl line up so this is his first purchase he shelled out nearly 500 dollars for a fs 111 with bike bars and he feels like out of the box it's gutless and all ready regrets his purchase were gonna try and tune on the carb some and see if we can get it to rev higher but were not sure if it will be enough
Thanks! Gearing up for tomorrow at work. Clear fence lines at a ranch, and I mean "47 miles of barb wire".. They never said anything about the details on these things and I'm killing them at 9 hrs a day for a couple of weeks. So I'm going to have to do tune ups on maybe three of these.
@@CORYJOHNM it literally less than 5 minute job once you get the hang of it. Cut down feeler gauge with scissors. Top dead center is mandatory for setting everything. Also adjust it when it is dead cold.
