Had a similar situation with a Husqvarna Rancher 455. Customer straight gassed it .My and Service manager wanted to rebuild it and get it ready for rent ( work on rental equipment). Could not get that thing to idle and it turns out the customer that ruined it had run it so hot,the mating surface on the block that the jug bolts onto was warped about ten to fifteen thousands. We eventually scraped it
I was just using my 110 today and the idle is all over, staying high then come down and idle sometimes or just die and even some sputtering when wide open. So this is perfect timing 👌
*I just had a fs130 in last week that wouldn't idle down either, replaced the carb and no change. Turned out to be the impulse hose had a pinhole and after replacing this $1.50 part the unit runs like new.*

I've had mine for a year, it sits on the trailer outdoors, I mow about 65 yard a month and mine don't look nearly as dirty/grimy as the ones I see you working on. I dont know if they are just much older or if they are abused.
4 years ago I bought a Stihl FS 111 R and I have to admit I am beyond amazed and maybe I am being somewhat biased but I have NEVER in my entire life owned a more expensive piece of dogshit in my life!!! I know I sound bitter but please understand I went from a Shindaiwa to a Stihl and I was not prepared for what awaited me. That is like going from the Penthouse to Skid Row or driving a McLaren to a bombed out busted Pinto and nobody warned me!! I owned a Shindaiwa F18 since 1992 and I gave it to a friend of mine when I thought I was upgrading upon purchasing a Stihl when in reality I should have brought my friend with me and dropped him off at his house with the Stihl and just kept my Shindaiwa that was still running like a champ!! I think the worst part of the whole situation is the size of my yard and how long it takes me to weed eat the entire yard which is about 10 minutes at most. Before anyone says well I bought too big of a piece of equipment for what I really need anyhow Ill just say this. Years back a girlfriend of mine had a bad section in her yard that she would let the weeds grow taller than 6' and I had to get into that shit with that Shindaiwa and it just seemed like alot for the little trimmer to handle so I said if and when I buy a new weed eater Im going to make sure the next one is bigger, stronger and faster than the one I had just in case I have to deal with such a situation again so that is what I thought I did. To say this was a costly mistake is an understatement. I am literally about to go put it out by the road with a sign saying Ill take whatever you give me because I am not doing you any favors... Ill take money, a pack of cigarettes or even if all you can give me is the middle finger that is fine by me just as long as you do it when you are loading this heavy piece of dogshit in your vehicle and getting it away from my sight for good. If anyone even reads this and lives in Louisiana you can hit me back and come take it off my hands .... Hell I might even pay you to get it out of here. To say I am disappointed would be a compliment compared to what I am dealing with... When did Stihl become the Sam's Choice version of power equipment?? Or Equate? Clover Valley? Commodity ? What the hell is going on when a Hyper Tough weed eater is looking like a Rolls Royce compared to Stihl?? Sad shit man I wish I was joking
Do you replace the carb with a stihl carburetor or do you use the cheaper unbranded ones? The carb on my Km131r is needing replaced are the cheaper ones ok or should I stick to the official stihl parts? I have learned loads from your channel I appreciate all your videos👍👍
Used and abused…wouldn’t expect anything less! Great fix! Stihl hate 2 cycle! Getting better and better as I tackle repairs and watch videos like this. When a fuel line is compromised…why not replace both for a good measure?
i don't know how people can work on filthy equipment like that , when i take a piece of equipment into my shop the first thing i do is degrease and blow it squeaky clean , i have a separate room just for cleaning off whatever comes in
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 My 2 stroke strimmers is revving wildly and idles uneven and adjusting the idle screw makes no difference what so ever and I don't know what is wrong with it.
MowerMedic1 do you have away I could ask you a question about a mower the idling wide open I’m try to fix for a kid… like and email address so I could tell you the story and pic of this Craftmans 7.25
Not sure why you are saying you’re tired of the 4-mix engines in this video because it seems to me that none of the issues for this engine actually relate to the 4-mix design. On the other hand, Doctor Jeremy, I wondered at the marvel that was your amazing self holding the still-beating heart of that patient in your hands! 👍🙏🔧🧰
I am learning a lot from you about the 4 mix .
Nice detective work Sherlock 😁 Another quality demo with tutorial easy to follow. Thanks!!!
Yet another awesome video buddy. Soon as I turn in I learn something new.
Great video, thoroughly enjoyed it
Good job on the repair.
Another beauty from the guru!👍
Nice to watch a craftsman at work.

Should of put the studs for the carb on first?
4mix engines are a pain in the ass , give me a 2stroke anyday
Good job on the repair but the machine looked worn out.
Dang that thing looks like it’s had a brutal life.

For the sake of time I only showed the one line being fixed

Looks like it needs some other repairs too along with a good cleaning
Looks like from here thy both have the same carburetors , I'm sure the difference is in the pudding tho .
My fc90 was doing this but without the drive shaft connected to it

Good find on that fuel line!!!!
Where do you get that fuel line?
20 foot roll from stihl
As much as i hate nasty equipment it all gets washed first
Wide open just how you need them
I have a fs110 want stop spinning what’s up with it thanks
Clutch assembly
You forgot to put the carb studs back in
You didn't put the carburetor bolts through the insulator.
Do you work next to a train yard?
Yes

Air leak. My guess b4 knowing
I'm sorry, I couldn't watch taking a carb off without blowing it off first. Nasty.
That’s been an issue for a while by the filth
Thought that may be the problem. Thanks
Did a pitbull bite the starter handle that thing was beat to SH$$$IT what a dirty bugger hate to work on not cared 4 junk.
How sad...
A vacuum leak will make it want to die out as it’s running lean more air no fuel means flame out please learn your mechanics
