People that have been in this hobby long enough understand that algae is just part of the game. Everyone goes through it. Shoot i only have four tanks and it can creep up on me, cant imagine what you go through with the number of tanks you have. Love the videos, almost always learn something new in everyone.

I have a heavily planted 100gal tank set up freshwater. I love guppies. I know what I want to do would randomly mix genetics ; but I want to order various guppies as a male and 2 females of each variety and turn them all loose together. Between black background and gravel and all the greenery I want my tank had a rainbow explode inside of it

Thanks for the video. I needed a nice break after a tough morning with a bad online fish order. Ordered 10 Corydoras Habrosus after looking for a while to find some available and they all arrived dead this morning. Changed work schedule to be home and everything and now I'm sitting here with an empty quarantine tank. Thanks for your great informative videos.

I love all your videos, I started with one fish at the beginning of lock down (1 platty!) in an 18L tank and today I have a 180L a 60L and the 18L tank which is about to become a nursery tank. I now have the following fish.. 2 x Dwarf Gourami, 2 x Yellow Rock krebensis, 2 x green tiger barbs, 3 x tiger barbs, 5 x black ruby barbs, 5 x golden barbs. 6 x Black phantom tetras, 5 x Serpae tetras, 5 x silver tipped tetras, 5 x purple rasboras, 2 x cuckoo plecs, 1 x bristlenose plec, 6 x dwarf neon rainbows and 5 kuhli loach. All 3 tanks are fully cycled and everything is running as sweet as a nut, I cant stop re-scaping but I guess thats part of the fun! You have helped me massively along away so just wanted to say THANKS!!

When it comes to my male bettas. I find it's easier to get a 20 long tank with 5 dividers, so i can hold 6 males, and i use 2 - 10 gallon filters not so much for filtration but for water movement and i use needle point plastic screens that fit on a track so i can slide them in and out when needed, and if the holes seems to big on the screen then i use 2 cross patterned and the holes are even smaller with great water flow. Great thing is the males can't see each other so there not constantly flaring up.

    Nice tour!
I have never been a fan of the "look" of large tailed Guppies - to me they move around as gracefully as an undersized Cessna pulling a huge advertising banner over a football stadium - against the wind. But those females at 11:30 are Outstanding!!
Nicely trimmed out -- makes me think of a Halfmoon Plakat. The genetic possibilities boggle the mind. Thanks for sharing, and for all you do for the hobby.

Sometimes I let algae grow a week before getting any new fish because some fish like to nibble on the algae. Other than that I just regularly clean anything with algae when I routinely clean the tanks.

how i fast season a tank for breeding is to chuck a load of hornwort in that's been in my pond outside. in my experience with wild betta's it means i skip the paraceum feeding stage, although you have to be carefull not to bring in any predatory crustation ie dragonfly lava.

I understand your schedule but personally I think you should give on the questions. People need to learn how to do research themselves. I know that sounds harsh but it's true. I would rather have more videos of what you're up to with the store and fish room. Obviously you want to interact and we know that. We appreciate that you will answer if we need it. Your hard work hasn't gone unnoticed.

Gaaah, the guy was from Wisconsin. Doesn’t have anything for sale on eBay right now. But he was selling some of his breeders and they’re almost solid blue, head to tail, and their tails are giagantic. So big that I will breed for slightly smaller tails, as the males have difficulty swimming. (They sleep on the plants or substrate because of the weight)
