This is in my top 3 of favorite fishrooms, I love that he breeds fish and shrimp but keeps the tanks so nice with plants, substrate and everything, everything is functional and beautiful to look at as well.
That one store in (I believe) SF where they didn't do any really big water changes that had all the crazy big jungle-like plant growth (not really fishroom but more of a backroom of a store I guess) and the fishroom of this guy named Dean I believe. He breeds for Cory, his fishroom was next-level clean and organized, totally different look but also something I can respect because my "fishroom" is always a mess for some reason.
Props to the thumbnail and editing. Especially the thumbnail. Aquarium Coop's had the best edited fish video I've ever seen, and now this video has the best thumbnail I've ever seen. Awesome xD

This was amazing! I loved seeing the inner workings of Lucas' fishroom...and of course all his beautiful tanks and fish! Makes me want to work towards something similar in the future... 😍

Decking screws aren't used to support support joists in decks, it would never pass code. They aren't structural at all. They sell special joist hanger screws that carry the weight of the decks, optionally bolts and or nails have higher shear ratings. Never trust a decking screw to do support a main beam unless your beams are directly resting on posts! With that said, if he has enough joists in place he could be ok, because the load is more distributed.
KG cichlids look at it from an outside perspective if you didn’t know Lucas. Green water with bugs, colorful shrimp with green eggs, laboratory type equipment with microscopes and bacteria, a mad scientist. Lots of breeding. Etc.

I'm in Sarasota Florida and can definitely relate to our HARD water... jealous of that ro/di unit, I'm waiting for my 7 stage brs unit to arrive... and how do you work with only 6" of work space... my racks generally have 12" between top of shelf and bottom of next one... also, of say half of my 50+ tanks currently running have no filter at all, only an air stone, and most of them(10s & 20s) are heavily shocked...100s of live bearers(guppies,platys,mollies,gambusia,heterandria formosa,etc.) In each... but all my tanks are jungles thanks to Aquarium Co-op's Easy Green and Root tabs...! Loved it...! Keep up your awesomeness...!!!

Also his breeding knowledge was on point! Cory is learning the ways of the clickbait thumbnail haaha, at least he delivered on a worthy intro. Stranger Things S2 hype!

I am trying to go filterless. I believe.. except for our 75 gal cichlid tank, & 2 shrimp tanks. Cichlids, not too much you can do with out plants.
I loved the tour, and would have taken 10 more minutes of the last 2 minutes! You've got such a beautiful camera set up, I couldn't help but want to see more of the fish close ups, especially with some of the guppies and endler varieties! Im sure that is an insa e amount of work to compile those montages and Im grateful for the bits you did show. Editors cutting room floor release on some of those closeups please please please?

Ah I get it no filter on the rainbow Tank, makes sense though, all that beneficial bacteria is in the substrate/plants and glass, water changes a big one in keeping that many rainbows I would think.
