Hey Relle, I'm originally from Hawaii, but now reside in Vegas. Just recently discovered you channel and I love your content. Real LOCAL recipes, and easy follow. I wish you success in the future . ALOOOOOOOHA !
Pro tip! 'Hot wok cold oil' and your food will never stick. This works on all types of woks with all kinds of food (even eggs and noodles). Heat up the dry wok on high until it starts to smoke. Add oil, coating all cooking surfaces. Adjust heat to cooking temperature, and enjoy a non stick wok and an easy clean up job.
Thank you Relle, I have tried those packaged yakisoba noodles and the packet and I love it. Thanks for showing me how to make the real sauce. The catsup is a key flavor! Karla in Cali.
If the Wok has a flat bottom, yes it will work. You only need a "special" gas burner if it has a round bottom. Also, (if I remember correctly) you can only get electric up to 32,000btu, but specially made for Wok gas burners go up to 60,000btu. (60,000btu is those you see the pros use to deep fry with.)

Does an electric stovetop work with a wok, or do you NEED to use a gas powered stove?

I have an electric stovetop and it works for the wok I have.
I use a wok ring on an old electric burner stove. That way, a round bottom works great.
no wok no cooking ;(
You can totally make this in a regular pan
