So far I have not seen any peeling or bubbling but the seams where two panels line up together have separated since I hung them. It's only a small gap so it's not noticeable unless youre standing next to the wall. Either the panels shrunk a little or my wall expanded from temperature
Thanks for the video! Home Depot’s brand says to layer the sheets a sliver over each new sheet rather than lining up perfectly next to each other. I’ll be doing this install soon! Thanks again!
I put this up in my parents home 48 years ago. Still hanging good. New products even better so longevity.....I'd say worth the effort. Just sold parent's home. Took down the 70's peel and stick. Came off easy and drywall behind it still looks new. Great stuff.
I'm now retired so I'm resting but I am not a bot. Matter of fact I just put up new peel and stick ibrick style in my new home. My children will have to tell you 48 years from now if the new version is as good.as the old.
I just installed the same paper , it looks great. I agree the paper is not that sticky. I used a sanding pole to press tightly, also a spackle knife. Took me exactly 1 hr to do 7 rolls. Great job , it looks awesonee.
Inspired me to stop chickening out and go for it! (LOVED seeing the fur baby. Beautiful kitty. So funny how they always want to sit on the highest object in the room - and watch! ❤️😸) The new wall looks beautiful! Great job 👍🏻
OMG i just purchased the same and spent maybe an hour putting it up. LOVE it. My two cats helped. Destroying the paper backing. Climbing the ladder, hissing at me for moving their cat tree to hang the last piece. Worth everything though. Toughest was getting panels perfectly straight and each next piece pattern matched. Just an FYI you look my daughter's doppleganger. Seriously.
I just did my hall in squares of brick they are foam with a texture that looks real when you see it from a distance like from the chair to the wall. I got a distressed style brick so I didn't have to worry about it matching perfectly. I also had an issue with the wall not being totally straight so I had to cut to follow the edge so the brick didn't go crooked. I didn't follow any instructions myself I just peeled and stuck and cut to fit LOL. It looks great and I am now doing my living room. It was less expensive than painting would be and I think it came out looking better than what my paint job would have. I got some glue you can inject into the areas with bubbles or places that aren't sticking as well, it came with a little injector needle that leaves no mark. your wall is great looking. I got all of my stuff from Wayfare and Temu for under 200 bucks for the whole job.
Thank you SO much for this!!! You are a lifesaver--such a clear and honest tutorial. You're amazing and your home looks great. About to put it up now--will comment when I'm done haha!
It looks fantastic. I'm heading to the hardware store tomorrow. I live in an old historic home apartment long been rehabbed. Lots of deadly dull drywall eggshell-white walls. Tomorrow I become a brick-layer of sorts. My kitchen and bedroom will finally be something worth looking at. Thank you for the insight.
I love your video. I'm planning on putting black and gray brick on the back of my kitchen walls. Never thought of looking on Wayfair. Thanks for all your tips. Your brick wall looks amazing!
"it only took 5-6 hours" lol, You have so much patience! Definitely makes the room look cozier. I have come across 3D stick-on wallpapers. I really want to try that but will wait until I get a house just in case it does not come off easily lol. Good to know the one you used comes off easily though. p.s. your cat is adorable!!
You did a great Job!!. I bought 1 roll of brick wall paper from Amazon and found it a little frustrating in lining the bricks up so it look natural. Now after watching your video, I'm ready to do my kitchen. Thank you for sharing.
So I am going to be decorating my trailer walls soon. Because the brown is depressing. I was wondering how the wall paper would work. I see my years of crafting for my dolls and contact paper crafting. Will come in handy. Thank you for this detailed tutorial.
You did a GREAT job thank you for sharing with us the world!!! I'm about to install peel and stick wallpaper in my new apartment and this REALLY gave me a much better understanding of the process! :D well done!!!
I got 2 rolls of the gray white brick from a store called gimme a $5. I am going to put it up in my R.V I was worried about the heat maybe not letting it stick it peel off. I love the way it came out! I only paid $5 for mine so I think I'm going to go ahead and try it. your wall looks real I hope mine comes out looking that good. thanks for the video.
I did something similar with peel and stick contact paper on a wall in our den. Unfortunately the wall is bowed so there are spots it doesn't line up as nicely, but still looks way better than it did. Great job! #FWBL
Ooo challenging you are brave hanging wall paper can not be the easiest thing to do. My more hired "professionals" to one small wall in her house and they did a TERRIBLE job. They did not evenly remove of spackle over the old wallpaper so the new wallpaper that was applied is all lumpy. I would so not be able to do this lol 😂 you are good! OMG your cat is too cute! 😻 and the final result came out great. I can not believe it only took 5-6 hours it would take me a lot longer. Love this 👍 💕
Really adds dimension to your room. I've been wanting to do something in my LR. I like your lamp in the corner and how the brick makes it more cozy. Just a suggestion, but maybe bring your lamp out of the corner just a little bit and your couch a few inches from the wall. It looks smashing! Great job!
I feel like the first couple of strips are always the hardest lol I did this with my friend and it is a mission but the end result is so so pretty! I love the way it looks 😍 keep us posted with how it lasts in the future so so curious 🥰
That wall is incredible. Looks realistic. I wonder how much will someone charge to do a wall that size? You make it look real easy how ever I prefer someone else tackle the project for me
That turned out amazing. I too wonder how long that will stay up? They have a really cool warehouse looking themed paper too. Would love to use in garage If it would stay up.
Hello Coral, TIP - Always use a new cutting blade everytime you wallpaper, apart from that sending love from London. I admire you wallpapering with the cat loose i would have a breakdown with mine hahaha
You said you could skip forward to see the final result, there was no way I was doing that, much more interesting watching you going up and down that ladder😍
For the first panel, you should’ve started maybe 20” (instead of 20.5”) from the wall so the paper could overlap and be trimmed after (to compensate for a wall that isn’t perfectly plumb)….overall, it turned out pretty nicely! 😊👍🏾
I bought this same wallpaper and I absolutely loved it .but..now..I don't..lol..I want to sponge little more cream to some of the darker terracotta but its not textured...I know I can do it.. but I also know it will be extremely time consuming..but.. wallpaper is extremely expensive..so I'd like to keep it.. I love the look of exposed brick and..its expensive compared to paint..so I don't want to take it down.. I know this video is a year old but..I was wondering did you keep the wallpaper.
Just now seeing this,, just scanning thru to see some ideas. But so how well did it stay since 2020? im just weary about how well the adhesive will stay, since im going to be using it in my kitchen
How easy is it to remove the wall paper if I don't like it after few days? Will it spoil my existing wall color and need to repaint it to get back its original form?
I think it's definitely cheaper and easier than doing wall paneling, as for painting it might be comparable but since I'm not an artist I think the wall paper would look a lot more realistic
So far I have not seen any peeling or bubbling but the seams where two panels line up together have separated since I hung them. It's only a small gap so it's not noticeable unless youre standing next to the wall. Either the panels shrunk a little or my wall expanded from temperature

@@CrossedCollar If I could go back I would definitely do this!
Definitely mansplaining haha just threw in what Home Depot suggested after seeing you say it did in fact peel up. Thanks again!
@@CrossedCollar no thats definitely helpful info for anyone else looking to try this or any other wallpaper! I never knew overlapping was an option
Product link pls ! Loved the color

Wow! That is impressive! :)
I'm calling bullshit. This is a bot
I'm now retired so I'm resting but I am not a bot. Matter of fact I just put up new peel and stick ibrick style in my new home. My children will have to tell you 48 years from now if the new version is as good.as the old.
Why not leave it up and say home sold with nice fake brickwalls
I just installed the same paper , it looks great.

this changed the whole room..and gave it a 'personality' 🤩
She got way more instructions than I got. Thanks for the vid! Very helpful.

Gorgeous. I love your curious cat 🤣🤣🤣🤣💖💖👍👍👍
I think you're video was brilliant and to see some one with a beautiful smiling face making it so easy to do
Beautiful job, I want to try this on one of my walls. Thank you for showing us the way.
This looks amazing!!!!
Thank you for taking the time to show us!!
Good job. Nice to see a possible wall covering come back trend. 🙂
Natural bricks looks always great. Very nice.
I’ve learned so much from this, thank you!
Wow that does look realistic. Looks great, you did an excellent job. Tfs
I love your video. I'm planning on putting black and gray brick on the back of my kitchen walls. Never thought of looking on Wayfair. Thanks for all your tips. Your brick wall looks amazing!
Wow, that's a huge undertaking, great job!

Haha only 5-6 hours 😂 3d ones sound really nice but yes might not come off easily!
Thanks so much for the demonstration. I'll be attempting the same next week.
I'm totally relaxed watching this
You did a great Job!!. I bought 1 roll of brick wall paper from Amazon and found it a little frustrating in lining the bricks up so it look natural. Now after watching your video, I'm ready to do my kitchen. Thank you for sharing.
That's so good to hear! And thank you
@@CoralAubrey How many rolls did you buy?
Great video. I have a 1 bedroom & I wanted to watch a couple videos to get the courage to start the project. Your video is the best!! Thank you
I'm so glad to hear thank you! I love how it turned out so I definitely recommend
The wall looks AMAZING!!!
No one can see the flaws!
Pat yourself on the back, great job!

Girl, you are gorgeous and the wall looks so great!
You did a beautiful job! I love how this transformed your room and your fur baby helper is so cute!!!

Thanks, wanted to see how it’s done looking into something similar, I have same colour walls also which is cool to see contrasts! 👍
Thanks for the well done video and instructions! 👍
You did a really nice job. I like the way it looks!
Thank you!
I’m thinking about purchasing this same brick pattern! I’m renting a townhome and worried it won’t come off easy when I move in a few years! Lol
Same here. It says it’s removable but the longer it’s up the more likely it is stuck fast.
Great Job!!!, I did my kitchen wall and it has been up for 5 years and no peeling.
So I am going to be decorating my trailer walls soon. Because the brown is depressing. I was wondering how the wall paper would work. I see my years of crafting for my dolls and contact paper crafting. Will come in handy. Thank you for this detailed tutorial.
Great job! Love your lamp.

Thank you! Only problem is if you trim the sides the pattern wouldn't line up anymore. It basically requires a perfectly flat and square wall 😕
A very good video, thankyou!

Getting ready to do this same thing in my backyard brewery. Maybe I missed it but were your walls textured?
For the most part they were smooth, just painted drywall
Love it question is the wallpaper brick pattern bumpy sticking out or
Flat
Just now seeing this,, just scanning thru to see some ideas. But so how well did it stay since 2020? im just weary about how well the adhesive will stay, since im going to be using it in my kitchen
Awesome 👌
Did this stay well until today?
You can take your razor knife point and pierce the bulb and get the air out.
How easy is it to remove the wall paper if I don't like it after few days? Will it spoil my existing wall color and need to repaint it to get back its original form?
Good job
Just found your video. Was thinking of putting this up in my sons room . How has it held up so far after one year?
I love it❤
Do you think this is easier and cheaper to do than painting or wall paneling?
I think it's definitely cheaper and easier than doing wall paneling, as for painting it might be comparable but since I'm not an artist I think the wall paper would look a lot more realistic
You're amazing
Hello. I have electrical wires on the wall. How to install the wall paper in this case?
omg it looks so real! Is it still hung there? That's what I will do in one side of my room!
Your Cat looks like my Cat...very well fed with a thick neck...😏
