@@dchan3113 Actually the product called Brickwebb (in the vid description) has multiple bricks on sheets like backsplash tile... you just use adhesive and then go back and add mortar between each to make it look legit. I'm going to use that method next time around.

Great detailed video...like your attention to each of the minimal aspects of the process...want to ask information about the 'design software ' you used for this project .. Thanks in advance!
Hi and thanks for the positive feedback! I use Adobe Illustrator because I’m a graphic designer. The software has the capability of drawing simple lines to scale and also rendering based on your level of skill (as there’s no real preloaded textures and surfaces etc). The power of it for me is the ability to layout plans to scale and then create a mock-up visual for me to evaluate and plan the aesthetics of. It also can be used to output several file types for 3d, laser cutting, water-jetting, or cnc.
I'll admit, this is some quality content. I hope you don't mind, trying to give a feedback, that you lower the volume of bgm when you're saying something. Other than that, the video is cool! I'm a teen, so there's still a long way to go. But, I'll definitely try this out in the future.
Thanks a ton! I appreciate the constructive criticism- it’ll make the next videos better! It’s taking me a bit to shift over from mixing metal songs where the music remains at a higher volume behind vocals, to a VO for video- so your feedback is spot on. 👌
I'm adding a new link to the video description for a new product that's available- real brick veneers on backing sheets. You should be able to use a lot of this tutorial to install those and it might be easier as there are no screws or brad nails needed. Hope that helps
Thanks man! I appreciate it. The lamps are hard to find; I bought them on clearance and then painted them black… I put a few alternatives in the video description though. Hope they work for you! Take care
Any way you could tell me which product you used? Ive been hunting endlessly and really love the type you used (perfect colour combination and texture!) Thanks ahead of time if you see this🙏🙂
Great looking job .I done one at a show stand, it did look as nice as yours , it was white bricks and I had to put a mortar joint on the finger connector.
After you got the whole wall up, how did you deal with the depth of the outlets? They looked sunk in with white edges exposed. I have a wall that has an outlet but won't be able to hide it with a side table like you did. Great video btw.
Thanks a lot! There’s actually a 3 dollar plastic part at lowes or Home Depot that brings the outlet cover out to be flush with the brick. I think I posted a link in the comments somewhere. I’ll have to look for it so I can post it in the video description too.
The lights and faux brick are in the video description but I’ll add the night stands and duvet soon… the other accent decor were random finds at retail stores… I’ll see if I can find similar recommendations. Thanks!
Dang, that was a thorough well planned thought out job. I am adding these to my metal garage. What would best to hang large neon signs and metal signs. I will have 1/2 plywood behind it. My fear is if I just screw into the plywood, I will have the width of the brick foam (unsupported) and this will weaken my support. If weight becomes and issue, I probably will just hand my larger heavy signs off the ceiling instead, and leave the lighter stuff for the walls.
Sounds really cool man! Hmmm... as far as hanging the brick panels and the neon signs- those sound like 2 different considerations. The brick panels can literally be glued to drywall with the adhesive listed in the video description and then screwed in here and there (into the plywood would probably be fine), but hanging the large heavy neon signs might require something more substantial behind both the plywood and the brick panels. I'd hate to advise on that and have it fail you, but don't rely on the brick panels for any structural integrity to hold heavy objects- I used the studs for that behind the panels and the drywall.
One thought which IDK is viable or not: is there a way to frame-in some studs between the metal framing behind the plywood? That way you could hang your signs on the wall still
You can definitely add some grout-looking adhesive… I purchased some for this project and considered using it, but ultimately it looked okay without it. As far as real grout, I’m not sure- might work! Thanks for watching!
I knew I wouldn’t be able to use this technique pretty early into the video, but I stuck around because 1. if I were not renting, I would follow this tutorial. This wall looks sooo beautiful. 2. the editing/quality of the video is so captivating 3. your voice is so calming to me for some reason 😂

Hey Miranda- I used Barron Design’s ‘Faux Panels’. They’re pricey but the color, texture, and physical depth are nearly realistic. Thanks for the compliment! I am a patient guy, but honestly- it’s a struggle haha I sometimes just want to start building halfway through planning but have to remind myself that it’ll result in some sort of unforeseen problems lol
I added a new link in the video description for real brick veneers with backing sheets- easier installation and more authentic. You could use a lot of this tutorial for most of that product too.
I’d you decide to remove the panels after installing, the adhesive could make it difficult but they definitely can be removed later. You might have some surface damage to your drywall / paint texture from where the screws were and anywhere where there was adhesive
Very cool. I was looking for a product like this about 15-20 years ago … wanted to do an accent wall in the dining room. Ah well … nice to see that it exists now and that it actually can look really good. Nice job installing!
Sounds like you might’ve had the faux panel product idea first! Congrats on that innovative thinking 👌 Thanks for watching, I appreciate the compliments.

You didn't explain what you did about the skirting and about the electricity sockets, they seemed recessed, into the panel once you installed it. How did you make they jut out again?
they don't look to weigh very much you could have probably just used some foaming adhesive spray, we have some industrial stuff at work 15$ a can and I've used it to do the 3d panels on the ceilings in under an hour, super easy to use and last forever. the drywall is screwed from all the nails and screw holes and foam adhesive that floats to the back when you squirt it on the joints anyways. The spray i use doesn't foam very much it more sprays out like a spider web than any kind of "foaming" effect. works way better than liquid nails on my DIY projects.
There’s a new product that’s available now using real brick veneers (I added links to the video description), installed only with adhesive like you recommended. I think if I were to do this again, I’d go that route… about the same cost / less work.
I appreciate that Kayshell! Thanks for subbing. I guess there will always be haters, but it still surprises me that people choose to invest their time in insults as opposed to constructive criticism.
Thanks a lot, man! I used Adobe Illustrator. It’s not really intended for interior design / structural stuff but it’s what I’m familiar with because I’m a Graphic Designer… although, it allows precision vector drawings to scale, so it’s also kind of perfect lol
I added a new link in the video description for real brick veneers with backing sheets- easier installation and more authentic. You could use a lot of this tutorial for most of that product too.
Hahaha! Thank you for recognizing my cinematic broom skills 🤣 the angles and videography honestly take me an equal amount of time if not more than the DIY builds lol. I care a lot about the artistic quality. Thanks for watching 🙏
@@SeizetheDIY the only thing I can say that you can improve on is the audio quality. Some sound deadening material or an upgraded mic really brings voice overs to the next level.
@@BuddysDIY thanks! The audio I’m definitely still trying to figure out. Thanks Charles! The electrician just pulled wires over from the old switch to the new boxes for the sconces. The lower outlets were left as-is and looks fine recessed into the brick but there's a $3 outlet spacer you can buy from Home Depot that brings it out flush with the brick. I did buy a brick trim / bevel from the same manufacturer that finishes the inside edges off, but it looked pretty ridiculous (too big and called too much attention to the outlets). The faux panels come with touch-up paint from the manufacturer and it can be used to paint the inside (blank foam) edges where it was cut-in for the outlets. Hope that helps!

setup looks amazing. I need this!!! what type of lighting did you use? love the mix of industrial vs modern take. looks incredible
Thanks so much! I included links to some similar lighting in the video description- mine were the last in a clearance and painted black. Take care!
What brand panel did you use?
Hi Don, I put the link in the video description. Thanks for watching!
great video!! incredible look!!!
Thanks so much! Please also checkout the diy canopy bed video for the completed room.
What is the product that you used? Awesome end result! You have way more patience than I do to really plan a project out right lol.
Hey Miranda- I used Barron Design’s ‘Faux Panels’. They’re pricey but the color, texture, and physical depth are nearly realistic. Thanks for the compliment!
I am a patient guy, but honestly- it’s a struggle haha I sometimes just want to start building halfway through planning but have to remind myself that it’ll result in some sort of unforeseen problems lol

did i miss where you said what brand this is and where I can buy it?
Hi Steve,
There’s links in the video description. Thanks for watching!
Amazing, awesome video! 🔥
Thanks 🤘
Good job man
Is it easy to take off if I changed my mind later?
I’d you decide to remove the panels after installing, the adhesive could make it difficult but they definitely can be removed later. You might have some surface damage to your drywall / paint texture from where the screws were and anywhere where there was adhesive
@@SeizetheDIY So not good for an apartment I guess.
What are you sipping on while u did that?
Bulleit Rye, neat… but, disclaimer for the youtube police: it never touched my lips lol
Very Awesome bro!!
Thanks bro 🤘
Nice Work!!
Thanks brother 🤘
Very cool. I was looking for a product like this about 15-20 years ago … wanted to do an accent wall in the dining room. Ah well … nice to see that it exists now and that it actually can look really good. Nice job installing!
Sounds like you might’ve had the faux panel product idea first! Congrats on that innovative thinking 👌
Thanks for watching, I appreciate the compliments.

Great video, I'm doing this.
Have fun!
where did you order your panels?
Links are in the video description
I love this so much.
Thanks so much!
You didn't explain what you did about the skirting and about the electricity sockets, they seemed recessed, into the panel once you installed it. How did you make they jut out again?
Hi, quick way is using spacers:

This DIY has the look of Adam Jensen apartment from Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. Great job 👍🏼
Thank so much dude! Love those references you dropped 👌
Hey Juan, Check the newest video on the DIY Industrial canopy bed and let me know what you think!
That looks fantastic. Nice job!
Thank you! Cheers!
🤩Absolutely Marvelous! 💪
Thanks dude!
they don't look to weigh very much you could have probably just used some foaming adhesive spray, we have some industrial stuff at work 15$ a can and I've used it to do the 3d panels on the ceilings in under an hour, super easy to use and last forever. the drywall is screwed from all the nails and screw holes and foam adhesive that floats to the back when you squirt it on the joints anyways.
New sub! great content and love your aesthetic! Ignore the haters it looks amazing!!
I appreciate that Kayshell! Thanks for subbing.
I guess there will always be haters, but it still surprises me that people choose to invest their time in insults as opposed to constructive criticism.
Nicely done. What is the graphics program you used for the design?
Thanks a lot, man! I used Adobe Illustrator. It’s not really intended for interior design / structural stuff but it’s what I’m familiar with because I’m a Graphic Designer… although, it allows precision vector drawings to scale, so it’s also kind of perfect lol
It looks absolutely gorgeous ! Looks like real brick 🧱 Great job !!
Thanks so much! I appreciate it ☺️

@@SeizetheDIY but what type of material is it? It really looks like real brick
It's a high density foam- polyurethane from what I remember... the manufacturer probably has those details on their site though.
Looks good and I can tell you put alot of effort into this video. The cinematic broom sweep at the end was a nice touch 🤣🙏
Hahaha! Thank you for recognizing my cinematic broom skills 🤣 the angles and videography honestly take me an equal amount of time if not more than the DIY builds lol. I care a lot about the artistic quality. Thanks for watching 🙏
@@SeizetheDIY oh trust me brother you're preaching to the choir here LOL.
A 2-hour project takes me about 5 hours when filming
@@SeizetheDIY the only thing I can say that you can improve on is the audio quality. Some sound deadening material or an upgraded mic really brings voice overs to the next level.
@@BuddysDIY thanks! The audio I’m definitely still trying to figure out. I’m going to break out my vocal mic for singing, compressor, aural enhancer and see if it makes a difference… I used a cheap mic for voice overs for this video but I guess I need to return to my roots lol
Any suggestions for mics etc would be greatly appreciated though.
@@SeizetheDIY I person use the yeti blue. My editing room/office has sound deadening material. The yeti is cheap and is decent enough for what I do. You can see the quality in my last car flip video. Not perfect but good Enough for our blue collar viewers for sure
Where can these be purchased or the names of materials used
Please check the video description for the link. Thanks!

beautiful! on the lower outlets did the electricion pull the boxes flush with the brick panel?
@@SeizetheDIY great job on your other project too. i look forward to your videos!
Thanks a lot Charles! More on the way!
What design website do you use?
Hi Haydn, I use Squarespace
Thank you very much
@@haydnbrewer7426 welcome! If you need to know which template that I use, let me know
This is some next level s*it dude. Looks so sick. Great job 🤘🏼
