Oh my gosh, this tour really shows the amount of work that this old gal needs. It seems daunting to me but you two always take it all in stride. I can't even imagine what some of the needed repairs would cost. The tour shows just how huge the structure is. Thank you for the tour! I can see why you fell in love with this old house. It is going to be beautiful someday. I can't imagine this being torn down but everyday buildings like this are left to decay. Who wouldn't want a home like this to decorate for the Holidays and use it to entertain family and friends?
This home just took my breath away. A dream to bring her back to life. I look forward to following along on your journey, and see your precious kitten again!
So much to do yet you have come so far. I still rejoice in how dry she is now. For all those who haven’t been here since the beginning they should go back and watch. My favorite place in Miss Mooreland is that side portico it’s beautiful and so relaxing. I just love this house and love watching you guys love her back to life. See you next week.
I remember Karri doing a walk through one video and she stepped out there to show the tiles and how pretty it is I feel in love with that spot that day. But yes it’s rarely been shown. It’s also pretty from outside.
That's a lotta house! I can see why they needed so many servants back then- just to clean it and shovel all that coal to keep it warm. When I was a kid, we had a house with a coal furnace/boiler and it was a constant job just to keep coal in it and keep the fire going. And it was dirty. I don't miss it!
Thank you for the wonderful tour! The square footage of your attic is twice the size of my entire 1890's Queen Anne cottage but Ive got a 20 foot ceiling in the attic as well. Loved all the rooms, but as an artist, the top of the tower brought back memories of when I had my first studio in the tower of Loudoun House in the mid 1990's. Loudoun is an 1852 Gothic revival villa that is the home of the Lexington Art League in Lexington, KY. If I were blessed with a Miss Moreland style house, I'd put my studio in the attic. Your attic once everything was put back looks like it would have a lot of natural light and plenty of good places to set up an easel and lots of storage for paintings, framing supplies and a workspace to do all of that. Also a great place to set up my wind up gramophone and party like its 1909.
What a beautiful place. I remain amazed at the work that you folks do to save this historic home. I would need a map to get around there without getting lost.

Thank you for saving this beautiful home and giving us a tour. You are so lucky that no one painted the beautiful woodwork. I had to scrape a kaleidoscope of colors off mine - a pink-brown color, toothpaste green, blood red, some kind of weird aqua bluish color, and lemon yellow. It was a horrid job. Anyway, I also love the closing cat videos. Thank you and good luck in your endeavors.

The amount of work you guys have done leaves me speechless. It is such a fantastic house and so much of the original details like the plaster work is still there to imagine what a stunner it will be when you finish. Y'all make a great team.
Wow you guys this is such a spectacular place. I’ve always admired the old grand homes! And let’s not forget to mention that most beautiful staircase all the way up. The beautiful details I saw! It is Grand in deed. And write the Attic can be a home all by itself. How impressive ❤❤ . Thanks for showing
I love the built-in shelving and cupboards. The staircase is lovely too. There’s an enormous amount of work to do but it will be fantastic when completed.
I can see why you fell in love with her...I would have too. She is a grand old lady and will be a stunning home someday. You have done so much already to stabilize her. Keep going....she is totally worth it!!
Thank you for the tour. I can see all the work you’ve done. Yes there is more work to do but everything you have done has been solid. Once the house is done it will be lovely.
What a beautiful lady. Thank you for working to keep her standing and hopefully bring her to her second wind of a hundred or so years. I want to know more about her. Where would I find any information. Also how long have you had her?
Thank you guys for the tour, helps puts things perspective after watching the individual vids. Oh, any chance the large 3rd floor wood closet is house's "cedar closet", a place store seasonal clothes? Hmm! I'm hanging in here to see the unveiling of the those stained glass windows someday! Cheers snd keep up the great work 🙂
This is the first full tour because its the first time almost that you have been able to safely walk all the way through the house with out going around huge areas to rotten to enter. It is such an amazing house the built in details are spectacular. I hope warm weather brings you back to structural repairs on the exterior stone and brick dormers and tower. It has come a long way from when the water was just pouring in everyplace.
It's always nice to get to see the different rooms in the house. Thank you for the tour! It brings back memories of past videos. I do have to say, the attic is my favorite area too. Those ceilings are amazing. The wood is so pretty. It brought back memories of you getting rid of the termites that had taken up residence in the wood up there. I had never seen anything like that before. You were both troupers....and did what needed to be done to get rid of those pests! And look at it now. It looks SO good. It won't be long and spring will be here. It will be more comfortable working inside and outside!
Wonderful tour, guys! TY for the floor plans!! They really help and I appreciate that you put them in every week. I too love the gorgeous front door, the beautiful grand staircase, all the old fireplaces and their tiles and/or carvings...odd that it is, I love the one in the entry hallway! I can't wait to see inside the side portico! I'm giddy walking thru the breakfast room, the butler's pantry with all that gorgeous wood...the kitchen! That will be fantastic when you get to working on that. In the cellar, all those old stone walls and the arches are so cool! The upper floor is so exciting to think about, how that's all going to come together, I love the fireplace in Minnie Ball's room. So much room in the attic, too, and I adore the old back staircases, and the tower stairs omg! lol honestly guys, this castle is fantastic and I'm so glad to be along for the ride as you restore Miss Mooreland back to life!

Thank you for doing this tour. Been binge watching to catch up and this finally ties the whole story together. I still think you is both crazy, but in the good way!
We might be a little crazy. =)

@@moorelandhouse Thank you. It will be awesome!
Amazing!!!
Thanks!!
What a beauty!! She will be stately when you get her all signed up!
That's the hope.
I love the tower! Hope everything goes well with this restoration 💞
Thanks! We hope so too.
The amount of work you guys have done leaves me speechless. It is such a fantastic house and so much of the original details like the plaster work is still there to imagine what a stunner it will be when you finish. Y'all make a great team.
Thank you so much!
Our pleasure! We have a "tour" playlist on the channel that shows the home in a little more relaxed manner. =)
Beautiful building.
Thanks! We agree!
Happy Sunday!
Thanks! You are first!
Absolutely beautiful! I hope to see it one day! I’m only about 1.5 hours away.
Fantastic personal tour.
Someone said instead of a whirlwind tour, we should have called it a "tournado".
What a beauty you have. I hope you have a money tree growing somewhere in the back yard. Looking forward to seeing more! 🌸
That's a great idea! We need to plant one quickly. =)
wow! I finished watching all the earlier videos, I finally caught up! Love it! Great work!
You are a real trooper! We are really glad that you found us.
What a grande home back in the day. Wonderful to see its restoration ongoing. You have your work cutout for you.
We sure do! We enjoy it though.
Fabulous all the wood and so many rooms I love it
We don't get lost anymore but we did when we first started working on it 3 1/2 years ago.
I love the built-in shelving and cupboards. The staircase is lovely too. There’s an enormous amount of work to do but it will be fantastic when completed.
We agree with all of that!
I can see why you fell in love with her...I would have too. She is a grand old lady and will be a stunning home someday. You have done so much already to stabilize her. Keep going....she is totally worth it!!
That's the plan! Thanks!
You will have a beautiful house when you are done. You have done an awesome job drying up and stabilizing her.
We hope so!
Thank you for the tour. I can see all the work you’ve done. Yes there is more work to do but everything you have done has been solid. Once the house is done it will be lovely.
We enjoy showing the house. We think it is going to be wonderful once it is done.
Parlor, fancy meeting room expect to see Granny and Jeb...
Oh yeah, they had all of that.
What a beautiful lady. Thank you for working to keep her standing and hopefully bring her to her second wind of a hundred or so years. I want to know more about her. Where would I find any information. Also how long have you had her?
We actually just did a follow up video of that very information this week. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/KhL4JWmUR6E/v-deo.html
Wow! It's going to be beautiful once done..
We hope so!
Wow, please keep us updated
We will. We have put out a video every Sunday morning for the last 3.5 years on our progress.
Cheers snd keep up the great work 🙂
That would make sense to us. There was a closet rod across the room at one time.
Oh my! You have gotten SO much done. Such a great job.
Thanks for noticing!
That's a good observation. =) We are almost warm enough to start the dormers. We are ready to get to it.
It was easy to get rid of the termites in the attic. All we had to do was get rid of the moisture problem.
boy it was almost gone , your doing great
Yes, we believe it was saved just in the nick of time.
You summarized it all very well. We can tell you love the Mooreland House as much as we do.
A magnificent old lady! Thank you for sharing! Was the roof your first
projects?
It was an entire puzzle to figure out what to do first. Everything is connected.
