Buddy is to the Steel Guitar what Jimmy Smith was to the B-3 Hammond organ. One can almost hear Jimmy's rhythms towards the end of the song...............incredible!
I believe Ralph Geddes on drums, Def. Duke Dumas, Buddy E, and Phil B. I was working for Jeff during this video at Jeffran College in Nashville- likely a Thursday night jam in the early 80s.
Back when they used to record on animal skins, with rocks. There's a better version on FB, with some crazy looper stuff... looks like it was from the big St. Louis show. Put the normal stuff for FB in front of /photo.php?v=10151477820614083 and you'll see what I mean.
