i dont think you realize the importation cost and the operation cost involved in the philippines. your $10k or 560k php will add an additional easily 200-300k shipment cost alone. thats an average of 1.5-3usd per kg of cargo. Operations cost such as showrooms utilities, salaries, marketing etc. and thats without importation taxes. if the ev exception was not passed its an additional 50% importation tax. even if the car is selling like hot cakes the lowest this car can go is about 850k. unless we get our own manufacturing plant or php gains traction over usd that price is as cheap as it can get.
surely they can get cheaper rates for bulk shipping?
try carrying the car from China yourself and you'll realize this is a bargain.
Buy it in China and then bring it here. Let’s see how much it will cost you. 😂

With Cruise control, traction control, EBD, 4 Airbags, 4 disc brakes. BYD is really pricing it well below the legacy automakers can do.

No. Its small and ugly.
I think it will, I’ve seen alot of Jetour ice cream around and for sure this is a better buy than that.

This is indeed true. Kahit as of now madalas na ppunta ako to charge lage may nauna na sa slot haha dapat atleast 3-5slots minimum for malls. Buti pa sa moa ang dami eh.
Over time pag nakita nila agawan na, surely magdadagdag pa slots sa malls. Ako hoping all malls and expressway gas stations have at least DC fast charger.
This would sell well talaga. Especially now free pa din charging sa malls. And our charging infrastructure here in PH is getting better. Pwede makapunta sa Baguio because there are charging stations spread all over. This for me is the best car for city use. That range is so good. Not to mention the fast charging pa. I love BYD. They just ravage every fiber of the automotive industry on a molecular level 😈

@@Jed-mt1px i think pasok po siya sa range na 300km. under certain conditions baka less than 300km, like mga 270km more or less. pasok pa din po from Pangasinan. i think sa sm north pwede na magcharge.

Good thing Ayala ang distributor ng BYD, they can easily put chargers in their facility. And at this point I wish they build more kase siksikan nadin sa public chargers lately.
"charging sa malls" selling point is stupid. Obviously hindi yan free pakagat lang yan. Eventually you will have to pay for those charging stations. Don't be an idiot.
