- Definitely one of the craziest keyboards I've ever used. Basically, the only keyboard I would consider a "gaming" keyboard.

I loved the part where John Lee said "it's wooting time" and wooted all over the place
Least unoriginal osu! npc
@@RikaIchinose yet funniest
Got the whole squad laughing 😐
npc
Jfc genuinely stop liking this I don't want to get top comment with this shit
The next video about the Wooting will be Squashy swapping out the case to a Tofu60 with GMK keycaps and lubed switches with foam in every crevasse of the board to achieve that generic thock. I just know it!
literally thats it lmao
@@SquashyBoy Ayo? Excited to see how it turns out tho!
@@SquashyBoy get a merro60 and gummy oring mount it please
It just couldn't be any other way
I like how people at wooting knew this keyboard will blow up in the OSU community...they even have 727 printed on the pcb
there are actually a bunch more graphics below the switches and they are each from a founder that bought the signature edition, so yea some bloke put 727 on it
@@SquashyBoy absolute chad, they could’ve put anything else and they put 727
Stop
Whats 727?
@@AquaLady153 osu inside joke, like how people see the impostor everywhere but for osu
Always love the sense of humor!
My keys are bored
same
I got mine a few days ago and still watch reviews. Such a great keyboard. WORTH THE WAIT PEOPLE
This keyboard actually helps with super glide mechanic in Apex Legends. Not necessarily a broken movement mechanic but definitely throws people off in gun fights
im just thinking about neo strafing with one key instead having to mash wasd really fast
Its a good day when squashy uploads
LMAO hahaha great video
I also bought this broken keyboard and it's very good!
One very underrated thing that you forgot to mention is that you can run the software on a browser, change your settings, close the website and you're good to go. No need to install anything.
The switches are very smooth because they are contactless and I liked the stabs as well.
But your point is true, with my skill level, hard to tell the difference, I'm an average gamer in a good day hahah
But the keyboard is really good, smooth, customizable, no junk software and clean :)
I hope they make a (new) TKL version :D
i'm so excited for mine to arrive on wednesday, truly a gaming keyboard of all time

I ordered my wooting 60he, so excited for it to arrive.
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I was like: YES I cant wait to see you mod the hell out of this board!
pre ordered mine a couple weeks ago, comes in February, cant wait
YOUR VIDEOS MAKE MY DAY!
I love watching these videoes after i got my 60HE, I'm basically just watching to nod in agreement on how awesome it is.
That is a great suite of features
broo fancy video!
1:27 when you see it
SteelSeries has had hall effect sensors in their OmniPoint switches for a while now on their Apex Pro keyboards. Though I don't think they have the extra features like analog inputs, they do allow you to set key press depth and have similar response times, which have made them one of the top choice for pro gamers.
wooting has also had full size keyboards using these switches for about the same time as steelseries. hall effect switches are not new technology either. there are keyboards that had these since the 90s.
@@drftr6073Honeywell hall sensor switches for keyboard in 1968, actually.
@@HugoTheLigar Yeah... but steelseries isn't doing that and they probably won't do that either.
Yeah but steelseries committed self sabotage by only putting those switches in half their keys
@@konnjso… about that
Yes another squashy video
Hall Effect sensors are awesome. They'll also be incorporated in higher-end gamepads and controllers in the future, for obvious reasons.
👻
Can confirm. Thank you for acknowledging us 🙏

Wooting wooted their way into the tech world with their innovative keyboards. They became the go-to brand for anyone in need of a new keyboard, wooting their way to the top. Join the wootin' revolution with Wooting.
BRO I JUST GOT ONE THANKS FOR DOING THIS REVIEW
SQUASHY IS BACKK !!!
the analog input part is so cool
cannot wait to get mine soon...
This video is so legendarily good xD
Really loving the burn to the American use of imperial measurement with every video 😌
i never thought id see squashy boy playing formula 1, my life is complete
i love the part where merami said "it's wooting time." and wooted all over the place on ascention to heaven with dt
Was looking for an Osu comment
1:27 This moment in video proves this keyboard was made specifically for osu players
Squashy really trying his hardest to not mention osu by name in the beginning lol
I'm happy i pre orderd my wooting before al the hype on it.
Got it now for like a month, first custom mod it, like other case, keycaps and lubing the switches.
Got a Wooting 60HE and I would say it is one of the best keyboards I ever bought hands-down. Btw, nice review.
How long did it take to get after ordering it?
I've had and loved my Wooting one for a few years and can i just say. That keyboard is by far the greatest tkl I own. Im a little let down that I didn't have the funds for the HE but if its anything like the original (which from the looks of it, it is) its worth every penny.
We are talking of less than 200 USD...
@@DrNoBrazil ok?
It's a good day when Squashy uploads 2 am in the morning... Why am I awake.
Looks like the Wooting Clan ain't nuthin' to mess with.
Replaced my wooting case with a fjell case and lubed everything. Sure it won't sound as good as my customs, but it's been sitting on my desk ever since. Valorant with the wooting is insane
5:49 I am really happy you mentioned Adofai, it's not a very popular game, but the skill peak possible in the game is unbelievably huge! This keyboard's rapid trigger function can be really overpowered and I would say it Is actually cheating D: The game has 2 main playstyles: Rolling - where you use more keys (4-8, sometimes even 12 or 16) clicking slowly and accurately on fast patterns, and Indexing - where you use less keys (usually 2), clicking as fast as possible, which needs much less accuracy but takes a lot of stamina. With this keyboard, Indexing playstyle makes the game insanely easy, since you don't need much accuracy, and it takes much less stamina. I would consider it as a "auto clicker" but for adofai (as well as other rhythm games). I hope the keyboard won't destroy the balance of the game, I am afraid that less talented people are gonna get more attention for their "skill" using this board, than actually talented people who use normal keyboards 😒😕 Anyways, great video as always Squashy!
What is this adofai game never heard of them before all I know are balls
@@huantian 2 balls
The knife skit had me wincing.
I loved my wooting 60he, excited to modify them. Hopefully they release a TKL or 75% in the future!
I’d love to have a 75% of this. 60 is too small for me and tkl has too much space in between the arrow keys, function row, and main keys for me. Wooting missing out on a lot of potential sales
I don't think I could live without the arrow keys, otherwise I'd be all over this thing
@@imstupidforreplyingbut-3203 do 65% have the function row? no they dont
@@imstupidforreplyingbut-3203 your name is pretty accurate tho tbh you shouldn’t have replied
@@Zudexa You didn't have to be a dick, I looked over that and just seen you asking for arrow keys
the wooting effect is crazy
I'm mostly interested in the analog aspect. I am huge dark souls fan I have beaten the game on kb+m and controller multiple times. On kb+m I find myself struggling to move in for back stabs, while on controller I can't menu and swap as fast, so I feel like for souls games this could be really good as well.
i remember my first gaming keyboard was the wooting one and it was so damn cool, i didnt like it was tkl tho, might come back to wooting sometime
Honestly a better analogy would be comparing the Wooting to the types of shoes that competition marathon runners use compared to the average shoe.
wow i might have to try it out
"Whenever the switch is being pressed down, it actuates" - John Lee, 2022
Got mine just recently, its awesome well worth the money.....👌
this is of all time
Roccat Vulcan 2 is nice I like it a lot smooth keys and quiet. The program's a little weird for it but you set all your maco for different programs and set the lights for different programs every time you start a different app. It's pretty cool
ascending to heaven
a dance of fire and ice...
mrekk needed this
hardware was holding him back
I love the part where you showed off the advanced macroing of binding everything to one switch
another thing you didnt mention is you can use this keyboard like a virtual piano/midi device. it can tell how fast a key is being pressed down based on the input level over time to create pretty realistic sound
What the f*** I didn't know that. I'm probably going to buy this keyboard just for that and the actuation point thing
In call of duty can you make your player walks slower? Since it knows how hard you're pressing
@@jamesmichaelcabrera9613 Very few games can take advantage of the native analog input, the only one I know of is Fortnite.
@@KeenScout. dont most games that have controller support have analog movement aswell?
@@g76agi Yes but they only allow either the analog input from the controller or keyboard controls. Fortnite is the only game I know that allows you to do both at the same time.
yurr
havent even watched but i have a wooting so i know its absolutely CRAZY
Analog key presses will change the game for games where you have to get into a vehicle and steer it. Or tactical shooters where you have to slowly pie a corner.
Ah yes a Squashy upload
1:30 I see it.
Thank you for clarifying the size at 1:46. As an American, I only remembering measuring in Alligators, Happy Meals, and Kiloliters of Oil (specifically).
Nice vid
Finally, a keyboard that actually makes you go faster when pressing harder
I’m a simple man. I see squashy boy video, I watch.
thats a crazy keyboard
You got me there 2:02 -_______-
MINE IS COMING TOMMOOORWWWW WOOOOP
BROOO THAT KEYBOARD IS SO SIIIIICK
I got my wooting about a week or two ago and I will say that it is a noticable difference. I play fps games, mainly Valorant. I just feel like I have so much control. I have also played apex since I got the board and strafe jumping is so much easier now. I hope everyone that has ordered a wooting enjoys it as much as I do.
1:28 WHEN U SEE IT
w squashy video
Nike Alphaflys would have been a good analogy, you all most had it.
yea idk why i didnt mention them, i literally have a pair
In my understanding, it should work like an adaptive trigger for keyboards if its actually functional
i really want it, thanks.
Tysm
I will from now on call you "gamer squashy"
Should've put merami and mrekk tweet about their opinion on this wooting keyboard since you mentioned them in this video
the dreamcast controller featured hall sensors to allow precise analog sticks without drift
I love my controller with hall effect joysticks to eliminate dead zones
watching this while lubing the last few switches of my first custom keyboard. bruh
Me looking at the vid "ohh this might be in my budget" me at 1:31 *ahh hell naw man who gonna but that *
DrunkDeer is a bit cheaper like half the price of wooting and its also good
there gonna need to make tournament mode for this thing ngl
If they come out with a 75% or a TKL of this I’ll buy.
X2. Waiting for the day it happens
Looking forward to the mod video.
I got mine a few weeks ago and I will say that it made me way better at S and W tapping in Minecraft
You should build the KBD Craft Adam its made out of lego and sounds like it too😏
rizz up with the newest wooty keeb
Bro... You did the Wooting keebs Dirty💀
I’d say this would be really good for valorant because I haven’t gotten used to the actuation point of my keeb and my counter strafing is kinda inconsistent. Wouldn’t have to worry about that with this since I know the moment I let go it’s stopped
oh na you have skill issue my brother

WOOTING FOREVER
I've had mine for a little while and am even considering selling my Legendary IBM Model F. It's even pleasant to type on.
full court shots two courts away in ice tops
1:29 WYSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
NOT YOU TOO, I guess squashy is gonna be wooting too
WOOT
You also have no leaf springs in the "switch" (which might technically be more accurately described as an actuator), which means there are significantly fewer points of friction, which means much smoother switches (if you are into that).
The big ass drawback is that you can adjust your actuation point but not the pressure profile of the physical switch and the spring. A well engineered "traditional" mechanical switch will tailor the physical pressure curve to the actuation point. You don't have this at all with hall effect switches.
IMHO its not really a game-changer because you only can only tailor actuation point and nothing else.
that’s mad
Finally the idea of the harder u press the key, the stronger the attack is real
we need this to be moddded
The Wu Tang Clan really know how to expand their portfolio..now they're into gaming keyboard
Laser or connecting metal or magnets to shave of micro seconds does not matter at all. The feel matters. Analog input is cool tho. If they removed the typewriter stagger, I'd be impressed.
1:28 need i say more..
