Razing shot type 1 gives a multiplier of 142% (, which is stronger than piercing through 3 targets and faster projectile speed at a cost of low hit count build up, which is very nice in most cases.
Razing shot type 2 could be better at contents like MDFA since type 2 might perform better overall here due to slow projectile speed and pp cost. Ranger used to be pp efficient but with addition of Beam type 3, pp might become a small issue based on playstyle but i need more testing on it.
And yes I love Type 3 beam, it makes PA much much more flexible! You no longer need to worry about losing dps since tapped version is already at 367 dps and you get more when holding it down for longer time, and you can extend blight too, only at a cost of +10.5 initial pp cost.

I think I’m gonna go type 2 for razing shot, a little uninspired but I feel like type 1 is just counterintuitive to what I actually want to use it for

the FE type 1 increased range is actually beam WIDTH not Range, it absolutely wrecks PSE with type 1, afaik it increases the beam hitbox by a little over than twice the amount

Man I wish TMG's were half as inspired as customs ranger got. These actually play around with ranger's mechanics and introduce new uses to pas which is awesome and exactly what I want to see from the mechanic of customizations! Meanwhile regardless of which you take on tmg the use of br doesn't change, the combos don't change, and you're still tied to hail cd, and the extra chain you get through speed one only barely compensates for damage lost with 20% less potency; while the 6-bursts one just turns you into the real human -bean- BR spam machine as it now takes what feels like over 3 seconds to use for 10% damage boost...on a 560pot pa :|

This set really gives some life yo ranger. Although no new mechanics see in gunner, I personally like how gunner in its own way

But, newer player may not know the basic requirements of the thing I'm doing, for example, PP and multi-weapon
Trying not to mess them up
