This guide is missing some important but easy-to-miss information: Divine Launcher (Both variants) have i-frames right as the attack is released. The tapped version of DL might seem useless at first but it's a good way to avoid an obvious strike while slipping in a little extra damage. Fallen Impact is also one of the few PA's that continues to deal damage even if you switch weapons. So you can use that with some subclass weapon combos if you want. Pretty sure Launcher Attack Reinforce does increase normal attack potency as well as speed. It's easy enough to notice the difference in damage. Backstep AA cancel is potentially faster than sidestep cancel but harder to perform properly. Launcher Charge Grouping causes shots that hit the same target to deal reduced damage for every rocket that lands, so the overall damage isn't as high as it might seem. Charged shots are good for quickly regenerating PP but spamming charged shots will generally be weaker than using the PA's properly or regular attack spam during Launcher Attack Reinforce. You didn't talk about the weapon action at all. A lot of newer players don't understand the purpose of the sticky bomb. It should be mentioned that it's purpose is mostly to regain PP. When the sticky bomb explodes, it pretty much fills your SP bar back to full, which can be used in combination with Fear Eraser to keep the laser going for a long time. Game plan for launcher is a little whack if you don't know what to do, since so many of the skill cooldowns conflict with each other. However you should prioritise regular-attack whenever Launcher Attack Reinforce is available, and then when that's on cooldown the bulk of your damage comes from Fallen Impact + Multi-launch with charged shot spam to regain PP. Always try to set up sticky bomb into Fear Eraser for downed states, unless Launcher Attack Reinforce is up. Divine Launcher spam is mostly for grouping, as Multi-launch does better damage against single targets. Launcher does not have a critical zone for damage based on range to target the way rifle does, so while Rifle is generally the stronger weapon, Launcher is the better choice for extreme long-range playstyles. It's quite possible to do nothing but sit far back and loop Sticky Bomb -> Fear Eraser continuously in a boss fight with teammates and still contribute good damage because of this.
launcher is fun but feels like it needs a bit of a buff on its mortar PA or a way to cancel out of the animation and divine impact could use maybe an on the quick shot and you get s on fear erasers ending its a fun wep but honestly rifle and bow/rifle feel like they just do more dmg faster launcher is def good for bigger slower style boss enemies where you can keep dropping the max dmg the charge normal for the spread shot feels bad i notice it do very bad dmg and after the fast shot skill got added i dropped anything related to it its at least on a class where the other class wep is great for multi wep as rifle for its WA to dodge and drop grenade is really good also the mortar attack plus the fixed position attack on rifle in that order on a downed enemy is a nice chunk of damage usually on a down i go sticky mine mortar then the cluster shot from rifle then straight into fear eraser using the other 2 skills does a hunk of dmg and kills a few seconds so the sticky goes off and extends my eraser time for more dps all in all launcher still isnt up to par w rifle bow and tmg in some aspects and i hope they keep trying to buff it ill also say im nuts and havent tried something like launcher bow yet despite running rifle bow which is pretty good but i can see bows WA for dodging and dmg being potentially good and you get a way better PB for downs and some utility snd mobbing skills but its tough to beat grenade wa on rifle
I like the format for a quick skill guide for a weapon. FYI You had a bit of editing error when talking about the bad condition skill, you forgot to change the skill icon on screen
As ranger main i love launcher but it is only a support weapon for the main weapon of ranger. Rifle If you want you can take a look at my ranger guide (it is in german but you should understand everything by watching the video) BTW with launcher blight rounds you have access to wide range blight rounds with launcher too. (launcher blight rounds change the whole gameplay) Launcher was good for bossing but since revolt aim got an range increase it is main dmg when bosses are downed or not moving. ( 1 shot makes 6 hits) so it is far stronger as fear eraser
I always use launchers for bosses ever since release. For me rifles cover mobbing. I also multi launchers with rods for not only elemental shenanigans but also for the counter since i never use side steps and i compliment weak bullets with casting techs. I wonder if launcher's the way it is as a result of rifle doing bossing much more effectively than launcher compared to its base counterparts.
@@ZNRenova well i loved rifle's combo with rod and while i tried talis as a mat weapon type for another launcher multi it never really went as used beyond its weapon action and i lean more on counters than side steps.
this is a really great video by all mean, i just hope people will not take this and play "pure launcher" since the only thing they will be doing is griefing their team
brain dead version playstyle : using HU/RA or RA/HU and get a lot of damage reduction and spam the fear eraser to cover the damage output problem weakness :fast moving boss since fear eraser PA is slow

He should add this to his video
I’m eating in leciel bc of you now. Thank you very much 😂
I love big gun go boom. But I do wish divine launcher had a bigger aoe or the laser was a little more powerful.
Launchers do feel very limited in a way for utility I agree
ur video is on point good sound and always have good music in the back ground
The soundtrack reminds me of Elsword
Weak Bullet (aka Blight Rounds) Reinforce extend the timer by another 15 seconds, not a minute (that would be quite OP otherwise xD)
launcher is fun but feels like it needs a bit of a buff on its mortar PA or a way to cancel out of the animation and divine impact could use maybe an on the quick shot and you get s on fear erasers ending
its a fun wep but honestly rifle and bow/rifle feel like they just do more dmg faster
launcher is def good for bigger slower style boss enemies where you can keep dropping the max dmg
the charge normal for the spread shot feels bad i notice it do very bad dmg and after the fast shot skill got added i dropped anything related to it
its at least on a class where the other class wep is great for multi wep as rifle for its WA to dodge and drop grenade is really good also the mortar attack plus the fixed position attack on rifle in that order on a downed enemy is a nice chunk of damage
usually on a down i go sticky mine mortar then the cluster shot from rifle then straight into fear eraser
using the other 2 skills does a hunk of dmg and kills a few seconds so the sticky goes off and extends my eraser time for more dps
all in all launcher still isnt up to par w rifle bow and tmg in some aspects and i hope they keep trying to buff it
ill also say im nuts and havent tried something like launcher bow yet despite running rifle bow which is pretty good but i can see bows WA for dodging and dmg being potentially good and you get a way better PB for downs and some utility snd mobbing skills but its tough to beat grenade wa on rifle
That Final Fantasy music makes me wish that FF14 played more longer this

I know 😅😢 bit of an oopsie but it's ok!
I use a rifle launcher multi weapon, and i didnt know about the mini laser side step u do in the video!? Which attack is that one?
Launchers side step normal attacks
@@ZNRenova Oh ok, i remember that move now. I dont normally use it 😅 Its been awhile since i used a Base launcher lol
Whats the name of the of black gatling-like camo your using?
Relik Tartarus CV
What weapon camo is that? the black and green one
Trunkul CV (Not a camo)
@@ZNRenova damn.. I hope they release a camo or I can find a decent fixa Katana 😯
Launcher need buff, rifle got more dps with nade spam
what’s ur resolution?

Interesting multiweapon choice 🤔 launchers feel very locked down in some ways during general combat

I actually didn’t know stealth strike works as a subclass as well, lol my gu/ra nvr getting Aggro 😂

The Launcher is very not good. I wish it was better. Maybe in the future they will upgrade it.
