    For fighter, if u want big dps just ignore daggers, daggers is more immune frames, higher survivability but even a saber's full combo on downed enemy can out shine daggers's buzzard spamming (which daggers used to be good at) right now

    • @MySonSet
      @MySonSet Місяць тому

      What about instead of sabers I do knuckles? Do those work well? I love the fighting style of them but as a starter I’m worried

    • @kitsunemiko193
      @kitsunemiko193 Місяць тому

      @@MySonSet knux is very good against aggressive boss where u have to counter more than 70% of the time, not good in downed/break time or the boss moves too much. That's why u can see fi players mw daggers with knux or saber with knux, just bc the knux's counter is too good to ignore. counter everything with knux, do other things with daggers/saber.

    I think you've undersold the complexity of Force. While I agree it's not complex, you still have to manage several gauges that most classes don't have to worry about: Rod Attack Impact, Elemental Bullet, each element's buildup mechanic (some elements you can forget, while others require strict management), and the three Compound Techniques which share a gauge but have separate cooldowns. All of these gauges interact with each other. Failure to keep on top of these gauges can lead to minor to major DPS loss. This is on top of Force's interaction with downs (they receive a damage boost to normal Techniques, so often they'll use Compound Techniques and even photon blasts to trigger downs rather than saving them for downs). Since the class' DPS is already not that good, the micromanagement game is important, at least for solo play.

      @tonyabf  3 місяці тому +2

      Thats why I give it 1+ instead of 1 or 2. I understand exactly what you said. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm no master of Force
      First, I think it's more like knowledge instead of skill. You can learn from guides and things, you don't really need to practice Force to do "Force things"
      Element' buildup mechanic, I really don't think it's that hard...
      Force has different gauges and PP require management, agree. But other class has gauges too, and they have to do counter, PA timing at the same time.
      I think it is relatively easy to realize and cast compound tech during the break or down phase and so, and for starter, thats the most important thing imo.
      And if you say use compound tech and PB to down enemy. No matter what you do, you get a ele down anyway, it's just time. Down in the correct timing or double down could be useful sometimes, but thats so hard and shouldn't be in average players' consideration.
      (edit: I forgot the down normal tech boost. Yes, it is something, but they just need to know and not learn how to do it)
      For DPS, it is what it is, Force's fate is sealed. Force is mostly the role of ele down in party.
      in the end, I want to say, it's just a comparasion to other class, not saying Force is as easy to play with single hand

    • @Elekester
      @Elekester 3 місяці тому +1

      I've tried to edit this down to not be as much as a rant. It still is a rant, but I want to post it. Please don't take it personally as I still think this video is good. I primarily play Force, but have played a lot of Ranger and Gunner. I think I've just gotten really defensive about Force lately due to how far behind it's fallen in solo content, which Sega started to push with Duels and ARKS Records. I apologize if I'm being a jerk here.
      I'm just tired of people saying Force is the easy class, because you just spam a single button at a safe distance. You didn't use those words, but it felt like the same sentiment. Everyone keeps spreading this misinformation and it makes people misunderstand the class. That's not what the class is about. It isn't about just spamming one tech that matches the correct element. It is an easy class, but not for those reasons. It's easy because the skills required for it are like you say, knowledge based. They're mostly flowcharts, but they do get complicated enough to require practice and there is some inherent tech skill required in the class due to it's multiple counters (uncharged Gifoie, Grants T2, and weapon action for Rod). People often forget about the counters because the game tells you to play Force at a long-range, when in actual play a lot of it's DPS can come from counters, just like most classes. Honestly this is something the game does a lot and not just with Force. It misleads players into playing classes suboptimally.
      I do think Force is the easiest class to get into and it is a lot of fun to just hang out in the sky high above the battlefield. But I don't think it is that far below the other classes in terms of difficulty. If I were to rate the difficulty of classes, I'd put Force about on par with Ranger. Both are relatively easy classes and Ranger has the benefit of Blight Round making good party DPS within reach of players just learning the class. At the skill ceiling, I think Force's counter gameplay is a bit more complex, but Ranger's distance management can be trickier in a lot of fights. Both have a lot of timing to worry about that can be easily managed once you get enough experience.
      One Force specific knowledge thing that has nothing to do with the video: "I think it is relatively easy to realize and cast compound tech during the break or down phase and so, and for starter, thats the most important thing imo." This is actually wrong a decent amount of the time. Compound techniques don't count as techniques despite the name and don't benefit from Force's DPS boost against downed enemies. Because of this it's actually a DPS loss in many casese. The exception is that you can prefire Barristan/Fomelgion for boss's that take a moment to enter their down state, but this requires knowing a lot of timing that a new player won't know.

      @@Elekester I don't want to make this forever, so I'll just mention simple.
      I remember I include some like "spam in long range is completely fine", which I said, is just "fine". I don't see there is any other class can do the same while being as useful as Force
      please note that this video is for starter. If I'm not wrong, many new players spend half of their time to just simply run around and do almost nothing. When the break or down phase is mainly the timing they would consider bursting out some dps. If that's the case, having some compound techs for them to use during that timing would be nice.
      By the time they play more, they would get used to the gameflow and knowledge of Force, that should helps alot in their advanced Force gameplay

    I believe the game isn’t for everyone. Despise the game already have some years it doesn’t have any content for you to be grinding none stop. The end game here is fashion so you will find yourself farming combat zones all time. The game is relatively easy compared to other MMOs I played before. I believe it’s a game more for casual players and that’s part of the reason I play it because i don’t want to spend a life in a game. Everyone has reason to play and not play some games. The game is currently on “ development”, so it’s up to you if you want to play this game or not. In my opinion I would say check it out and give it a try, if you don’t like it you can always uninstall or wait like 1 year for more content.

    I had no idea what this game was, I just saw that it was free and ended up picking Gunner as Main and Fighter as Sub. I know nobody so I've been playing solo and got up to lvl 70 with each. I had no idea it was these were hard to play especially since soloing the Dark Fulz (or whatever the name is) at lvl 60 only took me like 20 mins so. Just now learning my classes are supposed to be hard.

    From person experience during the first 1.5 years after NGS release i will list some of the the thing i see as flaws that eventually drive me from loving PSO2 to sh*t on it with my base pso2 clanmate whenever i have the chance:
    1. The market is f*cked.
    2. The endless and meaningless grind for stuff that WILL be rendered next to useless in the next update with the base game at the very least you can keep the "trait"(it been so long that i've forgot what is it called) to use for either fusing for better "trait" or transfer it to your new gear.
    3. The enemy design is very boring.
    4. The game play will be consist of either u spam the selected few useful photon arts/Techniques till the end of time or counter the f out of everything and it get old after a while.
    5. The story is barely there and those that are mostly is just "come to this region with this problem and solve it for me"(i heard there are more progress on that aspect when im not around).
    For the most part those 5 is why i came to hate this game with some other minor stuff that isnt worth mentioning.

    • @tonyabf
      @tonyabf  3 місяці тому +2

      I agree most of it, esp the grind and enemy part. However, the class system is actually decent imo(for now) and enemy/quest updates are coming out. Overall,, I mostly just chill or mess around, so I don't rly care about the bad things on the game. I can wait, and that will be the solution to a good game, eventually

    • @delightXD
      @delightXD 3 місяці тому +1

      Base pso2 was bad when it first released and the content was slow just like NGS, it is global server had an accelerated release schedule, releasing like 8 years worth of content within 2 years, making it feel like base pso2 was way better than NGS.
      NGS got really good skeleton right now, they just need to add more meat to it. And I have to agree, their pacing is a little bit slow.

    Pro advice: find another game.
    This game is ill-designed to milk the most out of obsessive/fragile people while keeping them on ghost hooks of "UpCOmIng ConTeNt". Theres a niche of people that really love the whole dress up/talk all day model of the game. If youre not one of those, quit now. The lower the playerbase, the higher the pressure to actually deliver, or to move on to a better, more developed project in the future.
    Quit this now. This is comparable to crack, in a digital way.

Yeah I'll probably have finished the endgame content in a month or so but like who cares.
