I just picked up my '24 JLUR couple months ago, and it came with the plastic bumpers. I kind of wish I ordered the steel bumper group but at the time I didn't know I wanted a winch. I like the look of yours with the bull bar on the top and winch. I'm going to continue driving mine stock for a while before I make any big changes but I am saving this video for when I'm ready to swap out the front bits and add a winch. I think I will want a winch with the offroading I have planned...good insurance. But, I'm a little hesitant to do this work myself as I don't want to screw anything up. Hopefully I can find a local friend to help or a shop that won't rip me off.
The factory bumper is underrated, so many people change them out which I’ve done many times in the past and I’m keeping mine on my new 392 I think your bumper looks great, they did a pretty darn good job on that steel bumper from the factory👍
@@rsaunders223 apparently, there was a section where I added background music and youtube flagged it as copyrighted so I changed the music and it's scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8am.
awesome. How do you like the steel bumper? I noticed that yours doesn’t have the holes next to the fog lights right under the recovery hooks which seller did you buy from? Yours looks factory.
What is that harness for the dog lights you are talking about? Is that a mopar part number? If so what is it? Why won’t the factory one from the original bumper work?
great Job look really good, I been wanting to put a Winch in my Gladiator Rubicon I just don't like that fact that the winch is almost touching the grill, I know it's going to be a B*tch getting that grill out with scratching it
Thanks for sharing this video. I’m curious how the trail camera looks with the new bumper and winch. Does it block anything? I’m thinking of doing something similar on my Gladiator as well so this was a perfect video!
How has the paint been holding up since you installed back in December? I just picked one of these up (KUAFU brand from Amazon but looks identical to yours) but live in New England where it certainly snows. I'm considering painting it before install but not sure if its worth it. Have you seen any rust on the bumper or the fasteners? Great video by the way!
It has held up pretty well.. I do see a few rust spots but I've been spot painting those.. mainly behind the bumper itself. It probably would help to paint as an extra layer of protection but all-in-all it has help up pretty well.
Yes, I found that you if you cut the tabs off at the bottom of the grill it makes things a lot easier. That way I can lift the grill strait up instead of having to pull the grill out. But once you cut them off you're stuck with it so it's totally up to you.

Just order one like I did. It's way cheaper than buying the Jeep Gladiator rubicon with the steel bumper. I did this to my gladiator willys.
@@adamhowe5033 All good. I ended up installing an Arcus front bumper and badland apex winch.

Been looking for an install with a winch for the KO bumper! Nice work.
Thanks Mike!
Awesome channel brother. Keep up the good work.
thanks!
What happened to the black grill video?

@@rsaunders223 Actually, mine did have the holes but I purchased a set from Northridge4x4 for like $30 and replaced them
Best how to video for this! Nice
Did this on my 2024 Gladiator Willys a week ago. Looks way better than an aftermarket steel bumper in my opinion.
Hi thanks for sharing. I like your winch hoop. Where can I get one of those? Thanks
I picked it up on eBay. It actually came with the bumper.
Looks good. How is the EVO working out compared to the Zeon? Thanks
Great video, thanks for sharing the install. Great dance moves and kid commentary is perfect.
How many times have you used the winch?
good look. Do you have the link for the grill guard?
What was the part number on the wiring harness?
Yes need wire harness
What is that harness for the dog lights you are talking about? Is that a mopar part number? If so what is it? Why won’t the factory one from the original bumper work?
Nice job . Did that bumper come with the winch plate and where did you order the red cover under the fairlin. Thanks
It did come with the winch mount as a package. The cover I got from Maximus-3.
Is there a link to this bumper on eBay
www.ebay.com/itm/114129178387 . there you go.
great Job look really good, I been wanting to put a Winch in my Gladiator Rubicon I just don't like that fact that the winch is almost touching the grill, I know it's going to be a B*tch getting that grill out with scratching it
Yea, very true. I've seen others cut the tabs at the bottom so all you have to do is pry the tops one out and then pull straight up.
@@BullGearOffRoad I seen that too, but that's a no for me
What the red piece called that the black warm fairlead is mounted to? I can’t find it.
Hi Blake, you can find it here: maximus-3.com/home/maximus-3-winch-hook-anchor#/
Nice look. Do you have the link for that bumper?
sure: www.ebay.com/itm/114129178387
Thanks ! Your jeep is looking good btw. I'm working on mine to get there.
did you order the brand new skid plate from the factory?
No, that is the factory skid plate that came with the Gladiator
Thanks for sharing this video. I’m curious how the trail camera looks with the new bumper and winch. Does it block anything? I’m thinking of doing something similar on my Gladiator as well so this was a perfect video!
No, no blockage at all. You still get a pretty good view.. I went with the short hoop which is just tall enough to protect the winch.
What winch plate did you go with??? That’s the exact winch I want to order.
So when I purchased this bumper, it came with the winch plate which was very surprising because everywhere else it is sold separately.
@@BullGearOffRoad well thats a super sweet deal then.

Are you still happy with this setup? My Gladiator Willys came with the plastic bumper, and I'm looking for a bumper/winch/bull guard upgrade.
Yes, so far so good. A little wear on the bumper but nothing too major.
I have the same setup. I found getting the grill on and off with the solenoid box in the way was a huge pain. Any tips or tricks?

Perfect, thanks so much!
What did you do with the 2 red pieces that came with bumper
Are you talking about the Red Ring Loops? I decided not to install those because I would have to remove the factory skid plate.
@@BullGearOffRoad thanks I figured where they go
Nice 👍🏼
What brand bumper?
What about the factory skid plate you removed from under the stock plastic bumper? You said it was to protect the sway bar disconnect.
I ended up cutting just a tad bit to make it fit and put it back on.
@@BullGearOffRoad awesome just wanted to make sure it could fit back on 👍 little cutting should be no issue. Thanks for the great video
Make it a stubby!
Thanks. I already did, I’ll be showing it off soon.
