As a Raptor owner with a TRX on order, this was great to watch. Robots really are taking over though. A cousin-in-law is the safety manager at a plant with over a million square feet under roof, and less than 30 people “run” the place. They have robots that resupply other robots.

Purchased my 2005 Ram Quad SRT-10 “Yellow Fever” new and never had a day of trouble. Love their products. Now post a video with out narration, factory sounds only please.
I wish I could afford to buy a 70 to 80 K pickup truck because this TRX is pretty killer. My salary has not kept up with the increasing prices of vehicles. The assembly technology and production process of vehicles is pretty amazing. Folks at Sterling Heights should be proud of the company's investment and what the people have done. I support Dodge and RAM and even though they are FCA they seem to be cranking our lots of American only muscle for the U.S. Markets and what's not to like about that.
It is an awesome truck and thanks for sharing. Only problem is it's not for your average middle class working guy because of the price. I hope all the guys (that can afford one), really enjoy it!

@C T Are you referring to River Rouge? Because that plant is not even close to SHAP, and hasn't had any major upgrades other than retooling in almost 10 years. I toured both plants in 2019 and it was a night and day difference... unless you're referring to Ford's KC plant...but I believe that plant is even more dated than RR

@C T yeah thats why theres dirt in my trucks clearcoat, doors holding water, sunroofs leaking, elect harness under rear bumper shorting out the whole truck, doors not aligned correctly, bed not aligned with cab, trucks leaning to the right. fords assembly and quality control flat out sucks.

As someone who works in a manufacturing facility I'm surprised to see that people are generally allowed to wear whatever. We were told to wear jeans and steel toe boots or else you'll get sent home and that goes for every part of the facility.
Did I hear the manager say 4 or 5 years ago when they first launched the 1500 series ??? If I am not mistaken the 1500 series has been out for a lot longer than that .

RAM is forcing Ford and GM to up their game. Ford answered with the new 2021 trucks. Nice. The next Raptor has to be special. GM said they can wait...... It will be interesting to see the next Tundra. Will it be a WOW and high quality?
As a whole, Ford is the bar....(Aluminum, Ecoboost, pro trailer, tail gate step etc) They created the Baha segment that Ram finally answered. All RAM did was create a small niche halo/limited segment that pushed the price up $20,000 for a extra 250hp with some old school sound.

@@lrr5586 Aluminum is weak and difficult to repair. The ecoboost engine is unreliable. If you need pro trailer then you probably shouldn't be towing. The tail gate step doesn't last, and the step that the ram has under the rear bumper works just as well.
In Canada with every option and taxes it's $140,000 out the door using Ram's build and price. For that much money assembly line employees should atleast be wearing black formal tuxedos, lol.
Ram doesn’t fall apart like they used to. Not at all... very very reliable. But this new TRX is a brand new design. Time will tell of course. I’m anxious to see how it holds up myself. But I must say it is one hell of a truck. One expensive toy but aren’t they all?
I've owned 4 Rams and 3 Tacomas and the Tacomas seriously had more issues. None of them ever left me stranded but I just chose a Ram again over anything else.

These guys I know drive there trucks like if it were the last day there gonna own it. I on the other hand take care of my vechiles. So far so good for me on my Ram
Has the power, has the sound, but it also has to perform. I’m anxious to see if the TRX can hold its own to the Raptor in handling, performance and overall durability. As of right now, it’s got more power in a heavier truck and that doesn’t make it better. With more power comes more heat, more weight translates into decreased handling. Time will tell how this new truck compares.
300 pounds isn’t a lot of weight but it’s still more weight. The more weight might come from the motor and the body being made of steel versus aluminum on the Ford. I’ve heard some say there’s a noticeable amount of understeer, I’m anxious to see how it handles in the real world. Checkout my channel when you have some time!
The TRX Engine is NOT a Hellcat engine. There is a video on UA-cam from the engineers or designers talking about the power plant. They say its their base 6.2 L that they tweak and tune and use different internals than the Hellcat engine.
The question is...how long it will last? Reliability will decide the fate of this truck as it is no different than Laramie which had a long list of annoying problems, ended up returning it and picked F150 Lariat, driving since last 1 year and have zero issues except that I can't hear if the engine is running most of the time. Hopefully Dogde's Hyundai type of innovstive designs and marketing approach will help them continue bringing better models.
They could do it if they felt there a was demand for it they just get a toyo tear it down and make there own version of it . Be a nice option for sure can't be that hard

don't the chassis frame & body of the RAM TRX need to be reinforced to counter the dynamic forces of driving a 702 hp 6.2 supercharged V8??? can the RAM TRX be fitted with a proper heavy duty 3.0 in. suspension lift???
I wonder if the Sterling plant has “solved” the racism issue of nooses being tied and left in certain areas? Big issues when “new” employees were brought in that had more seniority than others that already worked there before the upgrade.

That price just 2nyears later, has gone up about 10k lol. Now a level one is about the same price as a previously fully loaded level 2. Crazy. That’s not inflation, that’s greed and good marketing

8000+ active employees at SHAP. Over 2500 per shift. Robots only do the heavy lifting. I was an employee when this went into production.

I did the pneumatic/hydraulic air and water power on the robots/end effectors and tool bases. Very interesting to say the least.

Still dissapointed that the base trx isnt 55k with the 392 hemi, as the hellcrate engine is a 20-25k upgrade in everything else over 392 trims

I’ve had 2 FCA vehicles. Nothing has fallen apart. Though I did have re-gen problems with the 1st gen eco-diesel.

My 2019 ram 1500 had issues the first week. It had major issues at 20k . I had to trade it in.
