The speedometer goes from around 77 km/h to about 90 km/h. Additionally, the RPM’s were held over 4,000 for a brief second because the transmission was prepared for the driver to get back into heavy throttle; being higher in the power band to accelerate quicker. Ordinarily in vehicles, when you press the gas pedal enough for the transmission to downshift and you let off the throttle, the RPM’s will then immediately drop; losing the power band quicker. Here in the TRX, the transmission is specifically tuned to hold the higher RPM for ‘x’ amount of time after you let off the throttle; thus keeping you higher in the power band and delivering quicker acceleration if the driver were to get back into heavy throttle.
