david hatred thanks for your comment I will have to try that recipe it sounds good
@@thebeatlesforever hope you enjoy! have you ever considered the idea that since they first started releasing songs in the uk the beatles music must have been playing constantly throughout the world 24/7/365 ever since, it has to be a statistical fact with how popular they have always been, its a comforting thought to me, it's like the world resonates with the amazing thing that they did. to me they are one of the best things to happen to humanity, anyway, enough of my ramblings have a fab day!
That is amazing their music has never stopped playing. You are right it is a comforting thought.
You have a fab day too
Yoko was a bad influence for John, in so many ways...
Indeed - I often wonder what would have happened if John and Yoko hadn't gotten back together after the May Pang affair.
@@Klaus80804 John might still be alive...
@@Imsteppenwolf could be but I think mdc would’ve tracked him down no matter who he was with?
The happiest moments of John's life were spent with may pang
@@jeremyloeffler2783 Indeed. It's a no-brainer. The sad thing is that he didn't think about that the way he should have...
Always, informative videos! I love your voiceover style. It's conversational, like you're on the phone with us!

Thank you very much Albert Bassett for liking my videos that means a lot.
Very interesting video. Thanks for this
Thank you very much Dongski Jyu for your compliment. I really appreciate it.
I think he had issues with everything...
You are probably right about that Deep Water.
Just subscribed :D I always find this an interesting topic. I myself can relate very well to John's food and other mental health issues, having recently gone through some things. And I really do believe that he had some eating disordered things going on. It's just, all the signs point to it. And I just feel bad that he had to go through all that, because I know how painful it can be to hate the way you look, to try to change yourself to please others (or maybe just to please you). It's interesting how he also hated his singing voice. I just feel like that points to some low self-esteem, which would definitely make him insecure about his body, too. Anyway, keep up the great work with your videos!! I will be watching more for sure.
Thank you so much Alia Bell for your comments. I am glad you subscribed and that you like my videos I appreciate that.
I didn't realize how insecure John was until I researched this video. It is a shame because not only did look great he had a wonderful singing voice too.
Thanks so much for the info. I didn’t know he had such a problem with food. He looked much healthier in ‘65 during the supposed fat Elvis period. Mae pang would have fed him if they stayed together
Thank you Mark V. I agree he did look good in 65. Mae seemed like she did her best to look after him during those days of separation from Yoko.
Thank you for sharing this background info on our icon ✌️❤️
You are welcome. Thank you for commenting.
The voice is so relaxing
I think John green also described him as pretty much anorexic at some point
John also hated the way that drugs had changed the shape of his nose and he was self conscious over it. Sadly, he had an appointment scheduled to get his deviated Septum repaired but Mark Chapman took that and so much more away.
Thank you for your comment. I didn't know about that.
Great video you did on this topic. John sure did have a Roller Coaster life that is for sure. He sure did go throw ups and Downs and did Binge a lot on everything. Like Cars Houses close and yes even food. The sad thing is Albert Goldman mad up a lot of bad things about John just to see a book. But this is wat he doses changing John after he is dead, and yes Albert has past away as well. But I sure do remember all that he was saying all through the years! I do have one Interview with John where he sure did eat a lot during Help. As he said he went through his fat Elvis period lol wow :). I did like your video a lot and some great Photos of Jon and Happy New Year too:"}!!!!
Thank you so much Beatle Brad for your comments. I know you have a vast knowledge if the Beatles, so I appreciate it when you like my videos.
I wish you a Happy New Year too
Take care and see you later on your video or mine lol :")!!!!!
Pete Shotton said in his book that Lennon didn't really enjoy food, and that he regarded eating as a bodily function. He would wolf down his food without any regard to enjoying flavor or dining experience. He enjoyed junk food but he would also eat food that was almost unpalatable with the same verve.
Wow really interesting. Like to hear more about what they all ate.
KEITH'S favorite: Shepherd's pie....... SO THERE IS A CLUE TO THE REAL HEALTH FOOD!
I remember reading in Ray Coleman's book-Lennon, that John had bought a waffle machine for his Kenwood home and ate alot of waffles, this was around 1965 which he called this his Fat Elvis period.
Thank you Ernie for mentioning that. I never heard that story.

I thought John looked great between
74- 76.
Some shots of John in 1980 he looked on thin side but still looked good.
He cut his hair shaved his beard off.
Looked like the Early Days.
New Shades.
John was a cool cat.
R.l.P JL.
Great One.
Let the Man Rest.
He was definitely unhealthily skinny toward the end of his left. You can’t deny that.
@nahte- I agree. He looked better from 1974 to 1977. John considered himself the Fat Beatle. John had eating disorder.
"He had a lot of energy" (you mean caffeine!) Haha!
I did read once a reporter said he was a fat Beatle. I also read he did have an eating disorder. Like Jimmy page. Page wouldn't or couldn't (heroin) eat, and when he did it was chips( French 🥖 fries) and banana daiquiris..like a liquid diet ..🤷🏻 sad to think they had pressure to look good.
Yoko said John had lost 20lbs in his final years. By choice.
John being 10 stone in his final years is very light for someone of his height.
Thank you for your comment Adam he did look very thin in the later years.
@@thebeatlesforever It's in the Phillip Norman 'Shout' book. On the Beatles. He interviewed Yoko.
John was very thin. But through choice. He ate healthy food.
He was a heavy smoker & smoked pot sometimes. But no longer drank a lot or took heavy drugs.
Thanks Adam I need to read that book again. I read it a long time ago and really liked it.
She was starving him. He had to sneak chocolate in the recording studio, so as Joko Ono didn't see him eating it.
Thank you this is very interesting I remember John lamenting his fat Elvis
Period during help. People think that just because you’re rich you don’t have the same problems as everyone else.
What a force the Beatles was and how much they gave up to do their music!
Thank you fourthtunz for your comment.
I know John never looked fat to me. I am sorry it affected him so much.
Why is there a photo of Mark Chapman here?
Hi Justine. I didn't realize Chapman was in the photo with John until you pointed it out.
I wouldn't have used it if I had been more observant.
Um idiot! Mark Chapman killed Lennon! You're one of those tards that thinks if we don't say his name he'll go away! Doesn't work like that!
@thebeatlesforever I remember that it was the photo of John signing something for Chapman hours before John was killed.
It's so easy and unnecessary to speculate about dead people's private matters. John wasn't bulimic. He didn't struggle with food except to sneak hamburgers and other junk food when Yoko wasn't around. That from amusing anecdotes from Jack Douglas, the last producer he worked with.
Leave the guy alone, he's dead. He gifted all of us with great music and that's all anyone should be concerned about.
Joko Ono was starving him out! He had to sneak in food whn Joko wasn't around?! That sounds like SHE WAS STARVING HIM OUT!
I agree that people sensationalise John's life, particularly in those mysterious Dakota years, but in this case I think it's hard to avoid - there are a lot of photos from the late 70s where he's so abnormally thin, he must have either had an eating disorder, a severe drug problem or illness, and all signs point to the first for me.
I don't think it was that bad he would have ended up in a clinic with a feeding tube down his throat, but he made efforts to weigh no more than 135lbs which is obviously too thin for his build, yet he couldn't see it. Pretty standard eating disorder than many "normal" people struggle with.
I thought they they liked to do coke
Let the man RIP ....
Carl, don’t you have better things to worry about? The man has been resting comfortably for over 40 years. 🙄
@@blueberrycobbler do you understand English ?
I said let the man rest in peace ...
What’s the lady talking weigh? What does she eat?
john was useing HORSE thats why he was so thin
Absolutely no sources mention heroin use in the late 70s, whereas loads mention his food issues, including apparently his personal diaries. Seems like the only reason to think it has to be drugs is because you think anorexia is too feminine for your image of John.
Fruit, veggies, teas, brown rice, etc. all very healthy according to most doctors.
Who’s business is it anyway?
Thank you Rustyrules for your comment.
Rusty you care it is your business, you clicked on the video so you cared....🙄 Go eat
