  • How to Cook Filipino Pork Adobo with Eggs.
    Ingredients:
    3 lbs. pork belly, sliced into cubes
    1 piece Knorr Pork Cube
    1 cup pineapple juice
    6 eggs
    1 head garlic, crushed
    ½ cup soy sauce
    1 ½ teaspoons whole peppercorn
    6 pieces dried bay leaves
    3 tablespoons vinegar
    1 ½ tablespoons dark brown sugar
    2 cups water

    Kya nga nya sinabing mala- Humba, meaning hindi sya exactly the Humba recipe kundi may kaunting hawig lng sa lasa Kya don't stress out yourself by commenting negatively it's not a big deal. Actually I've been cooking this recipe long before I've seen this cooking show and it's really a Winner,my Canadian boss love this adobo so much he eat up up to the last drop of the sauce, it it best to grill until slightly browned on top before serving so it looks more enticing. For perfect boiled eggs, what I do is boil the water first then slowly drop the eggs then boil for 10 minutes, drain the water and soaked in cold water,then peel it in a bowl of water by first crack the whole egg gently then submerge in water while peeling, it's easy peeling that way.

    I just tried this Kuya Vanjo but with pork loin country ribs. I marinated it overnight kaya malasa sya. Hindi na ako gumamit ng knorr pork buillion. Napansin ko lang na matamis sya kaya I added more vinegar. Thank you po sa recipe. I like it with boiled eggs.

    Thanks sir Vanjo. Sa pork adobo mo w/pineapple juice. Ggyahin ko po yan mukhang mas masarap. Ang adobknko ko. Vry simple lng. Sa nagtitipid. Igini gisa ko lng ang bawang at sibuyas. Add the pork cubes, haluin the add toyo at adobo mix. Add paminta at laurel takpan at antaying lumambot. Ayun yapos na.....Ako nga pla si Nanay Cory Santiago, ng Laguna, Philippines.

    favorite ko ang liempo adobo madalas ko niluluto pero with pineapple juice never ko pa nagawa. next time gagawin ko ito with pineapple juice

    I love this adobo version of yours. Marami na rin akong natry iluto na version ng adobo since ang papa ko ay from Visayas and mama ko ay from Luzon marami pagkakaiba sa adobo nila. Usually hinihiawalay ko na sa sabaw ang karne once malambot na sya then medyo toast ko ang karne kasi yan ang gsto ng mama ko. Then minsan kalamansi ang nilalagay ko instead of vinegar. Minsan nman naglalagay ako ng konti oyster sauce them pineapple juice with little bit of chunks. ☺️☺️
    Pasyal po kayo dto sa Zambales. Magaganda ang beaches dto. 😄

    Sarap Chef!! Niluto ko nung isang araw pero di ko na nilagyan ng brown sugar kase double murder na sa tamis 😊 Pork butt ang ginamit ko and its really good! nilagyan ko din ng konting pineapple.. dami ko na talagang natutunang dish sa'yo. Thank you! 😇

    I'm from Chicago, IL and we don't have liempo (pork with fats) in any store here. But I do cook chicken adobo in pineapple with boiled eggs.

    Kapag madikit ang laman ng itlog🥚sa balat nito ay ibig lang sabihin nun ay kulang pa sa pagpapakulo ang itlog🥚. Kapag mas matagal mong pinakuluan ang itlog🥚, mas madali mo siyang mababalatan.🙂

    Paksiw na pata, may suka, bawang, laurel, pamintang durog at buo, konting asukal na pula, knorr pork cube, at puso ng saging o bulaklak ng saging. Sa Adobo, mas matagal ang pagkakababad, mas masarap ang adoba ninyo. Kahit overnight o 1 araw. Ang iba di agad nilalagay ang suka at sukang kudarat ang ginagamit. Sa huli hinuhulog ang suka at di agad hinahalo. Nilalagyan ko ng asin ang nilalagang itlog para mabilis balatan.
