This was a rare movie, especially now a days. It wasn’t trying to push an agenda, and it had a really interesting story.

And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to prove him with hard questions. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart. And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not. And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built, And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her. 1 Kings 10:1-5

A women who suppressed her emotions & her creativity, convinced herself that she is satisfied of it, in order not to be hurt again; and through this beautiful journey, she learned to get out of her comfort zone, the true meaning of love, & fully embrace herself to live again.
So beautifully created, and the song, it touches my heart every time I listen to it.

i remembered a feeling of distinct dread the whole time i was watching this film. It was unfolding so well that i cant help but wondered how would this magnificent love story could've gone wrong. Never would i imagine a Djinn could burn himself out trying to grant a wish. This film could not have ended more beautifully than it did. i love everything about this picture.

I was drawn in the moment it started. The story telling aspect was important. The funny part was the whole time I forgot all of this was happening in a room lol. But it was lovely, especially the twist. One of my favorite movies by far 🖤✨

My mother and I saw this movie together and it was such a great film. The acting was superb and I expected nothing less regarding the main two actors (Idris and Tilda). It’s filled with emotions, longing to be seen, wanted, loved, and understood is what I got from it 1st watch. Watching this video kind of validated things for me.
