In this season of life, I'm de-cluttering what I don't need to make room for the things I enjoy. Only last year I started paper crafting and all I can say is ... I've found my thrill. So OUT with clothes and trinkets I no longer wear or care to dust and IN with pretty paper pads and crafting tools. Now THIS makes me happy. TYFS.
I really have been enjoying your videos because you show simple, attractive yet inexpensive things to use while organizing your home. I recently moved and am setting up my new home in a totally different style than I had before. Your videos have been very motivating as well as enjoyable to listen to while I unpack. My husband passed away last year and you're helping me get through a tuff time, thank you for that!
I'm a brand new subbie.....because you are on exactly the same page as me, when it comes to finding the most frugal way to get the look and function that I want at a reasonable or affordable price. . But you have CLEARLY done your homework. It wasn't until I watched a few of your vids regarding IKEA....and they really are supremely awesome. But it takes someone like yourself to point it out. You can get a shelf, that accomodates some awesome enamel bins....but when you add up what is costs to make it complete...it's not so inexpensive any more. BUT....IKEA is wonderful, in that all their alternate 'fixtures' to make the shelf complete, includes a range of prices on things, to make it work within any budget. No WONDER they are as awesome as they are and thank YOU for pointing it out. You have clearly figured all this out....and are generously sharing that info with us all. I'm just impressed all to heck, that you have sorted all this out.
Annie - your comments are always so sweet!!! Thank you so much - I am getting more confident about sharing my crazy frugal ideas - it's people like you and your positive response that help me share more and more. Thank you 💐
Thank you for your videos. I love the tips on shopping at IKEA. Love the little hanging buckets on the rail and how you marked them. I want to copy this. You are so amazing at creating ideas for storage and displaying items. I am hooked on your videos. I cannot keep watching them and saving things that I want to do. Blessings to you and your family. Looking forward to watching ALL of your videos.
Awesome job on video tapping! You saved me from making a long trip to IKEA in Houston traffic. I did my list for shopping for the little items I can never find on their website. You were going quickly on some of them and I could not catch the name of the designer or model number, got most of them by far. You made me so happy and thank you so much. You are my life saver!
I love it when you go round IKEA because we have Ikea in the UK and I have now purchased some of the stuff you have shown in this video. The Sunnersta rail and containers were brilliant. Keep visiting Ikea please.
I love the hanging Farmhouse rack with the buckets! That looks so expensive! Thank you for showing us Frugal Solutions. And how you convert them into beautiful things!
I just found your channel and I am thrilled! You just gave the best “once over” of IKEA I have ever heard! I have never been to a store, there has never been very close to my home and their website seems overwhelming. But, I now have a place to start! Oh, and I love your pen organizer. What a great frugal diy success!
Great video. Just went to IKEA yesterday and got to buy my Alex desk and drawers. Can't wait to set them up. I really love those plastic Sockerbit. They are just great for everything but especially die pockets. Thank you for sharing.
What a fabulous idea/shopping trip to IKEA! The closest one to our home is over an hour away and in a very busy area so we do not travel there often. Love the way you created the railing system for that great price (I am frugal as well) and would love to see the video! Thanks again for your wonderful storage solutions and creative ideas- hugs!
Sounds like a field trip is coming! LOL When I lived out of state, the closest Ikea was 3 hours away. We actually rented a truck and drove one time - but we spent lots of time picking things out in their catalog first. LOL
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Did a bunch of high level sorting in my craft area! Repurposed some storage that wasn't really working and created quite a mess in the process 🤣😂🤣😂 Digging in for round two today. 🤪
OMG!! Thank you for sharing your trip to IKEA. I am setting up a craft room and the “As Is” area will be where I go first! I live what you did with the rail and buckets. So many ideas are going around in my head!!
I love the little buckets on the rod...that is something I can really use. I also need the boxes and magazine holders like yours. I'm going to IKEA website to see if I can order them...if not I will find a store and grab them. I love your channel! I had no idea that IKEA was so affordable.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
My husband spends most of his time in this section for keeping our garage amazing. He’s even made space for me to do things I need ventilation for or if it’s a lovely day I can craft out there while he does all repurpose projects he’s got. We live in Florida. It’s always nice out and the sun sets on the front so it’s typically cool but we have a fan of needed
Yes!! I went to Ikea today in Canberra Australia and they do have an As Is section. Ours did not have the loose spare parts, as much as spare parts bagged and priced. But boy oh boy!! Were there some bargains on table tops in particular! Yeesh! Thanks again for that tip. I did as threatened, get a bunch of the tjena containers and have made some of your custom dividers out of manilla folders. After three years of fighting eith my stickers and stamps I have an enclosed and stackable storage system that is saving me space and stress. Thank you again for your wonderful channel.
Annie - that is so exciting!!!! I'd love to see your take on these things! If you are open to sharing pictures, please send to CallClutterFairy@gmail.com. I'm so excited to see!!
I did the same thing with the Ikea cups and added the triple Ribba picture frame above it. I took the glass/plastic from the frame and cut the cork place mats to fit inside for a bulletin board.
I love that you did a video here! I am a mixed media artist, and have had many different studios over the years but the BEST INVESTMENT I ever made was Ikea furniture. I own an Expedit (now called Kallax) with a table, another for my printer, an ALEX which I adore. It has gone through 4 moves since 2009 but it still looks awesome. Worth every penny. I would love to share my room and organization with you! You have such great tips!
Never been to Ikea, now you’ve made me mad crazy to go. Looks wonderful for what I need! Thank you so much. Also loved your farmhouse themed wall bins! Never would have thought of that.
From the as is section, I bought a shelf that I put across my recliner. It brings all of my different project supplies up close and personal. I put a TV tray in front of my chair so I can easily place it there when I’m not using it or pull it up closer for a longer work space.
Yay!!!! Was it a good price?? Sometimes I have to stop myself from buying things that are super inexpensive!!! If I can't think of an immediate use for it - I won't let myself get it. But it's hard when it's only $2-$3 dollars! LOL
I knew we had something in common, I am frugal to! If I can make it cheaper I will. I live on a budget and would love to be able to just go out and purchase anything I want. Thanks for being real with us !! You are the best! Enjoyed your trip to IKEA, my first time going there was in November I had enjoyed my trip there.
Super great ideas for craft rooms. Ikea is no around my area, but they ship, so that could be an idea. My fave was those odds n ends boards for cheap. Tfs
Thank you so much for this video. I, like many other people , do not have an ikea near me. I loved seeing all the organizing options in case I get to one some day..Great video.
I was just on ikeas website last night looking at rail and peg board options last night to hold the same stuff. I am also cheap and will be getting the same ones. Love the idea of decorating them.
I looked at the peg boards, thought they were a little pricey by the time you bought the hardware, brackets, containers, etc..... but they are GREAT systems!
Tfs. I love all these solutions to storage. There isn't an IKEA near us but I am going to look on line. You are amazing an always think of such practical ideas. I am always in need for simple and easy storage ideas for my garage. Thanks again, Norrine, you are such a gift to us all, especially me.
I use the IVAR foldable table in my room and its dedicated to my crafts. It's honestly amazing, I have command hooks on the sides of it to store things such as tape, hole punchers, rulers, etc,. I store my easy press above the foldable table with a 3 rack organizer from Target that holds some of my cardstock. The next shelf up is for my fabric (specifically yarn, burlap, and tweed,) and for markers and some decorations to match the rest of my decor. Cricut goes on the first shelf on the inside with my mats and tools, second shelf is the photoshoot area for my Etsy store. Trashcan for my paper scraps, along with paper towels, air dusters and cords on the bottom shelf. Absolutely lovely unit since you can close it up if you have someone coming over. I also have a LED clip lamp from Target I put on the top so I can see my project in a bright environment. :)
I would love to see the video of how you made that piece at the end. I’m especially interested in how and where you mounted the bar so it was on that pretty background.
WOW! So much about Ikea I did not know. I am in Australia, but I believe that Ikea basically run the same model worldwide. Thank you so, so much for sharing this fantastic video! I’m off to Ikea!
From a fellow home organizer (until i got crippled up from arthritis) I was addicted to IKEA's products. I used a lot of their IVAR shelving for book shelves, tv/stereo system, and pantry. Store is too far now and i miss it A LOT. One day I will make a day trip to go there again.
Some years ago, I went to the ''as is' section and they had bags that you could fill with cloth items for £5. Well, I found all the cushion and chair covers in a lovely special edition pattern for an armchair I really wanted - I already had the settee (Ektorp) which was comfy - so I was happy. When I got to the tills, I was told that there was a limit to how much I could put in the bag but, because the sign didn't say that, I was allowed my £5 bargain! I also got a lovely pine shelving unit for £10, which was an ex showroom piece, so was already fitted together. I bought their cloth storage boxes (30cm square) in a sale, which fit one on each shelf perfectly. I had bought them for my Billy bookcases but, well, I have too many books! I really love Ikea :)
That's amazing!!!!!! About once a year, they will take all of the misc. wood pieces and sell them as a lot for $20-$30. I LOVE finding these! I've made so much furniture over the years from these bundles! Sounds like you have a system down to get what you want for very little money!!!!!
Oh wow!! Such great ideas - and a huge enormous thank you for taking the time to think about those of us in wheelchairs! 💜 And yes, of course we want to see a video on how you made your buckets!! Thank you for sharing! 💜
I liked what you did with the hanging bins on the rail. You can also use the bins on the outside of the rolling carts ( cant remember the name. Same as the Michael's $30 one). I have a few wall trash bins. Not one used for trash. Perfect for long rolls of paper, paper trimmers, clothes hangers for my laundry room and in our camper , its hung from a hook and I have trays and other flat kitchen stuff.
I am opening a pet bakery with a specialty retail area, Do-it-yourself dog wash and Doggie daycare (small for now). The unit next to us wil avail around Nov 1, so we will grow quickly and have boarding.
Those are some great tips! Thanks. I am downsizing my living space and I have to figure a way to maximize my kitchen storage. I will have top make a dice to IKEA soon.
Great Ideas for using Ikea items! Good to know about the “As Is” section. I would love to see the video of how you made the farmhouse look storage at the end.
I loved the last one - totally farm house and could easily DIY it into any decor style. I didn’t know about the As Is, that was fabulous to learn about as well- my IKEA is about 4 hrs drive away (depending on traffic) but good to know when I’m up that way
Awesome video! So many great options. I love ikea! Once I am inside, I am there for hours, it’s hard to leave 😃 I would love to see your tutorial on your Sunnersta. It’s amazing. Thanks
What a beautiful job you did on your affordable storage solution at the end of your video. I’m loving it so much I’m going to make it for myself. I think it’s just as beautiful as the higher price one.
Love this! Wish I lived closer to an IKEA, but maybe it’s a good thing the closest one is 200 miles away! As to the Kallax unit, I have a 5x5 cube unit, (which I got second hand & was like new!) & I think there may be one size even bigger. 😊
I would just love to have the Alex drawers and so much more Ikea, but I have invested in three wire racks and many of the art bins so I need to use those. Still organizing the new craft room but your tips are helping me so much! Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love your videos, Noreen! I have an IKEA about 25 miles from me and I always forget that. I do however have the Kallax (the previous name) 8 square and desk combo that my husband purchased for me at a garage sale! So believe me, I absolutely love it! I need to take a journey over to Ikea and pick up some of the items that you showed in this video, I didn’t know that there was a 50% off area where I could pick up just a piece to make a larger table top for my table top for a second desk! Thank you again, Noreen 🧚♂️. Your ideas are so inspiring to me! ~ Katz
I use the table shelves as monitor risers on my desk! I also use the pot holder to store my gaming keyboards. they slot in nicely and the pot holder can handle the various thicknesses.
(New subscriber.) Our IKEA is just a smidge over an hour away from my hometown. IKEA can be a bit overwhelming to someone like me. Videos like this help tremendously. Wonderful ideas and ideas. Thank you.
Hi, love your videos. I'm reorganizing my art studio/ craft room. I was looking for storage boxes...wow Ikea has nice ones. So I'll be getting some of those. Also I love the cardboard suitcases and saw a video on making them I'm in the process of that. Happy organizing 🙂
New to your channel and love it! I was planning an IKEA trip so can't wait to go to the "as is" area. I never even knew that existed and would love to see how you made those storage bins. I need those for my craft room.
Ok, I had never been to IKEA until 2 years ago, my brother in law took my son there for dorm solution and I tagged along. I have not been back since but, NOW, you've got me FREAKING OUT with that 'as is' section!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I would got there just for that!!!! Dear Lady, you have a new subscriber!!!!😁😁😁😁
Loved your ideas. Never been to an IKEA before. Now I want to find one. I'm trying to figure out ideas for my craft room. This has helped a lot. Thanks.
Holy IKEA! I think to how far IKEA has come since it first made its splash into my life! Believe me, I have IKEA furniture going WAY back! But I think who doesn’t 😂! One thing IKEA hasn’t changed on is they are still affordable, and for that I am thankful. But they have definitely stepped up their game! They have definitely started offering more of a range from the low end to the more high price end. When they first came out (at least here in the states) they were all about catering to the college or the just getting started in your first apartment folks. Now you can find ANYTHING AT IKEA! From just getting started to crafting, sewing, all the way to kitchen, bedrooms and gardens! It is truly one of the most innovative places I have ever been too! And what I love about IKEA is I have been able to “hack” the furniture I bought just starting out and use it TODAY! I’m not sure if they promote that kind of thing, but it’s definitely become a way of IKEA life lol! Thank you for showing this! I didn’t know about the new trash cans, the ones that look similar to the ones every one uses for vinyl. I have a few of those & use them for my contact paper, LIFESAVER! It has kept my dear cats from getting into my contact paper! I’m in the process of redoing my living space, and have been looking at a good way of storing my extra yarn, and that trash can IS PERFECT! So I’m very excited! Thank you again! Hope your day is super!
I agree - they have come a long way! I like going just to look at their display rooms!!!! Such wonderful inspiration in those tiny spaces. Good luck with your space redo! Keep me posted on how it goes.
Thanks for sharing. I am really wishing I had an IKEA near me so I could go to the 'as is' section. Definitely post a video of your rod and bucket organization. I like that rod and bucket set more (cheaper price makes me like it more lol).
I have never been to Ikea but now I definitely need to find one!! I would love to see a video of how you put that together! Such a great value! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with us!
I love it all!!!! I especially liked the shelves with the hydraulic table attached. Thanks for sharing. I just wish there was an Ikea store closer than Orlando, FL
It's all great! I think I would like to start with the wall trash bin. I do have my Christmas paper in the big bulky wrapping paper container - but that stays in the attic off season. I would like to get my other papers out of the hall closet and keep them in sight. That way I see what I have and it gets used. Using vertical space is always a plus to me. TFS 😘
Yes, I also loved the last bucket diy where you added the "sharps" etc. labels. I love Ikea AND container Store but don't go to the latter often, although one is very close to me.
A friend experienced a devastating house fire. While her insurance company quibbled whether is was related to a gas line issue or an electrical issue - she needed a place to reside with basic furnishings. I spray paint ted PVC pipe black, utilized black tie wraps for shower and window curtain hooks and her temporary residence had window coverings and she could shower without causing damage. During the rebuild I found plastic Christmas ornaments, painted them black and glued them to the ends of the PVC curtain rods. Being frugal is smart and fun. Anyone can be extravagant and go in debt - I also enjoy the challenge of being both thrifty and creative.
I do too!!!! I have dozens of pics on my phone of things I see and like when I am out shopping - and I keep them until I can figure out a way to make them myself - for MUCH less. :)

From a fellow home organizer (until i got crippled up from arthritis) I was addicted to IKEA's products. I used a lot of their IVAR shelving for book shelves, tv/stereo system, and pantry. Store is too far now and i miss it A LOT. One day I will make a day trip to go there again.
Just love your videos. Would love to see video on the new bar & bucket. Thank you
Fun shopping! Blessed and safe days!
And yes, of course we want to see a video on how you made your buckets!!
Thank you for sharing! 💜
😘
I liked what you did with the hanging bins on the rail. You can also use the bins on the outside of the rolling carts ( cant remember the name. Same as the Michael's $30 one). I have a few wall trash bins. Not one used for trash. Perfect for long rolls of paper, paper trimmers, clothes hangers for my laundry room and in our camper , its hung from a hook and I have trays and other flat kitchen stuff.
That's what I thought when I saw them!!!! Trash?? No way - STORAGE!! LOL
Wow, didn’t know they had a clearance section. When this isolation is all done, I’ll have to check it out ❤️
I loved all these ideas. I am opening a store soon and some these ideas for display units.
What!!!! That is so cool!!! What kind of store??
I am opening a pet bakery with a specialty retail area, Do-it-yourself dog wash and Doggie daycare (small for now). The unit next to us wil avail around Nov 1, so we will grow quickly and have boarding.
Those are some great tips! Thanks. I am downsizing my living space and I have to figure a way to maximize my kitchen storage. I will have top make a dice to IKEA soon.
Great Ideas for using Ikea items! Good to know about the “As Is” section. I would love to see the video of how you made the farmhouse look storage at the end.

Hello from Dallas. Another great, quality video!
Hey, thanks!
I love the rail with containers you made.
Thanks for your great money saving ideas! This will help me organize my craft stuff!
You are welcome!
Love your videos. Keep them coming. Love to see tutorial on the buckets at the end with writing. Thanks so much for sharing..
You bet! Here it is :) ua-cam.com/video/HGGkFzVEU_k/v-deo.html
I like the bar and bucket organization
I never thought of mounting those rails on a bookcase, that is genius!
You really inspire me. Those were great finds at Ikea. I never knew about the "As is" section, its definitely on my list of places to go first.
It's hard for me to not go more often. LOL Such a fun space!
My nearest IKEA is 3 hours away, looks like they have some really great items. Almost done with my craft room makeover. Tfs
I loved the last one - totally farm house and could easily DIY it into any decor style.
I didn’t know about the As Is, that was fabulous to learn about as well- my IKEA is about 4 hrs drive away (depending on traffic) but good to know when I’m up that way
Please show the video of you making the tools buckets. I have some and I need to get some ideas!! Thank you
You got it! ua-cam.com/video/HGGkFzVEU_k/v-deo.html
Awesome video! So many great options. I love ikea! Once I am inside, I am there for hours, it’s hard to leave 😃 I would love to see your tutorial on your Sunnersta. It’s amazing. Thanks
Ha!!!! I was there for SOOOO long yesterday - kept forgetting to film! LOL
What a beautiful job you did on your affordable storage solution at the end of your video. I’m loving it so much I’m going to make it for myself. I think it’s just as beautiful as the higher price one.
This was so much fun to watch!
I love what you did with the Sunnersta. Looks amazing!!
TFS 💜
Thanks!
Love this! Wish I lived closer to an IKEA, but maybe it’s a good thing the closest one is 200 miles away! As to the Kallax unit, I have a 5x5 cube unit, (which I got second hand & was like new!) & I think there may be one size even bigger. 😊
Great ideas! You are so clever and ingenious ! Thank you very much!
I hve also heard of using that accordian pot lid holder as a purse organizer-I'm about to pick one up for just that!
Huh! I want to see how you use that!
I would just love to have the Alex drawers and so much more Ikea, but I have invested in three wire racks and many of the art bins so I need to use those. Still organizing the new craft room but your tips are helping me so much! Thanks for sharing.
I love the wire shelves too!!!
~ Katz
Let me know how your trip goes!!!!
MUST get to IKEA! It's a journey for me, but it would be worth an overnight trip! I miss having one close to me! Thanks for sharing ideas!
I use the table shelves as monitor risers on my desk! I also use the pot holder to store my gaming keyboards. they slot in nicely and the pot holder can handle the various thicknesses.
I love it when people think outside the box!!!! Genius!
Thank you for this! I WISH I had an IKEA near me :( I was so happy when I saw they ship! I always learn so much from you :)
It's so hard to not find fun things at Ikea!!! Glad you liked them too!
New to your channel and love it! I was planning an IKEA trip so can't wait to go to the "as is" area. I never even knew that existed and would love to see how you made those storage bins. I need those for my craft room.
Love the rail you created. I’d love to see your video of making it. Is also love To see a Cricut video
If you making the labels. TFS
You bet! Here it is: ua-cam.com/video/HGGkFzVEU_k/v-deo.html
Ok, I had never been to IKEA until 2 years ago, my brother in law took my son there for dorm solution and I tagged along.
I have not been back since but, NOW, you've got me FREAKING OUT with that 'as is' section!!!!
🤯🤯🤯🤯
I would got there just for that!!!!
Dear Lady, you have a new subscriber!!!!😁😁😁😁
It's so much fun! Sometimes there is nothing fun.... other times I wish I had a moving truck with me! LOL

YESSSS!!!!😱😱😱😱
You get me!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
Loved your ideas. Never been to an IKEA before. Now I want to find one. I'm trying to figure out ideas for my craft room. This has helped a lot. Thanks.
I love wall storage ideas. That is the key for small spaces. Thanks
I think the storage you made looks even more farmhouse than the ikea one. It looks super cute.
Thanks, Brandi! I am really happy with it.
Yes please show how you made that! It’s great! Thank you!
I have the IVAR shelving and drop down desk in my work area. Really sturdy and strong, well worth it if you have a small room.
Thanks for sharing. I am really wishing I had an IKEA near me so I could go to the 'as is' section. Definitely post a video of your rod and bucket organization. I like that rod and bucket set more (cheaper price makes me like it more lol).
It was WAY more in my budget! Thanks, Mary. Sorry you don't have one closer to you...
Yeah.... they are growing. But not like WalMart or Starbucks! LOL
Love it all..I have to get to ikea!!thanks for ideas as always❤️
Thanks for watching!
TFS 😘
Thank you for all of the information I really enjoyed your video
Glad it was helpful!
Yes, I also loved the last bucket diy where you added the "sharps" etc. labels. I love Ikea AND container Store but don't go to the latter often, although one is very close to me.
I really like the Container Store - but they are usually out of my price range.
