Great tour. Thanks for sharing. I’ve never been to an Ikea so I appreciate the crafty introduction. One of these days it Looks like I will need to take a road trip.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, it has been a long time since I visited IKEA. All of the storage in my craft and sewing room is from IKEA but I bought it second hand which saved me a fortune. Your tour showed me some things I could use especially the peg boards so I think it is time I visited the store again. I'm in The UK so some items might not be available here but there is bound to be lots I can use. Thanks for making this video, great inspiration xx
Thanks for some more ideas. I just got an IKEA that opened near me in April. The 1st thing I bought was the Alex. Never had an IKEA near me so it was a lot to take in. But,, I got over it. Lol I do have another suggestion. The small shelves/hutch 4 shelf that is in the kids desk area, it has a green back. It fits perfectly on the big Alex with wheels. The green back part I put it backwards so the white side shows. It hold ink pads and markers with all of their accessories. And the white trash baskets are a must-have. My trimmers are in 1, paper in another. Non vinal rolls in 1 hanging on a cabinet. The vinal rolls is in the plastic bag keeper. Also in the office area, there are large plastic mats . They are awesome. I've used them under messy projects. Paint and glue wipes off like magic. I saw a display in a kitchen display with kid crafts. They are thin. Easy to store.
OMG, What a FABULOUS FIELD TRIP! LOVED IT SO MUCH! So many WONDERFUL PRODUCTS for ALL CRAFTERS & Multiple uses, too! So appreciated your “tips/thoughts” throughout the tour of Ikea! TFS and HAPPY CREATIN’ n’ SHOPPIN’ n’ CRAFTIN’! :-))
Tfs. I have been interested in Ikea storage, as I see it in peoples craft rooms but they have soooooo much for storage. You really did help me get off my bun and go there unfortunately is tooooooo far away to go often, so I need to be really organized BEFORE I go. Thanks again,
If you have a cutting machine such as a Silhouette, they used to do 15 or 16 inch square table mats. Make them sticky with some repositionable glue, they make great machine cutting mats - and were only 99c in Spain, probably around a dollar in the USA.
Awesome tour, Elisa! Our closest Ikea was over 2 hours away, but I just found out there is a slightly closer one. Still a long ways (over 100 miles), but I am excited! My mom & I are planning our own "field trip" there, hopefully soon. I'm reorganizing the space along one wall of my craft room, and need different storage than what I have. I've decided on a combination of purchased pieces (ready to assemble) and scratch-built shelving (that I can make myself), so I get exactly what I want/need. Still in the planning stages, but hopefully I'll be ready to shop 'til I drop soon! LOL Thank you for sharing this. Have a wonderful day! :)
Thanks for the video! Being Swedish it is fun to watch something so mundane as a trip to Ikea through a crafters eyes! It always cracks me up hearing Råskog being pronounced in different languages😉. Next time I go there I will look a bit closer what could be used in my craft room. A good advice is if you find anything you like storagewise buy enough of it at once, Ikea change stuff a lot and next year the boxes you loved are gone😉!
Great video, so much fun seeing all that they have. I didn’t know about the As Is Area. I’m sooo excited to get back there again. Thanks for sharing 😊💕
So much fun to watch. I like how you just take us away. I'm a foster mom of 3 storage and crafting is important to have. I'm taking a trip to Ikea to find some of your ideas. Thanks a bunch.
First time finding your videos. Love your craft room looks like it set up pretty good & looks organized. Loved the tour my daughter the super crafty lady just went through IKEA last week & became a member & said she loves it but her husband cringed to think she would spend more money. LOL But she makes good money with her crafts she just needs a much bigger room right now she has the smallest bedroom full & another bedroom not all the way full yet. But these pieces of furniture would really help her organize. I think I have also found a wonderful store to go to for organization items. Once I get back into a house instead of my small apt I will be setting up a great craft room. Thank you Thank you so much
Well hello there, Elisa! I just 'happened' upon this video (recommended by YT) and I have to say that I found the info you provided to be excellent. I do have a few pieces of IKEA units in my craftroom but you really 'opened my eyes' to many other possibilities and, where to look when I can take a trip to IKEA (closest one about a 90 min. drive). I'm now going to watch some of your other videos and look forward to seeing your crafty space. TFS Elisa...oh, and by the way, your twin boys, Austin & Bradley, are soooo adorable (took a trip over to your blog). Have a great day, Elisa (am now a subbie)!
Yesterday, I drove 2 hours from my home to go to an IKEA. The ideas that popped out of my head were crazy! I might've spent a bit more than I planned lol, this is such a fun and cool place (and inexpensive) and I hope to take a trip again next month!
I just loved going through IKEA with you and meeting your kids. I had no idea that so many items for me were even there. I am now one of your new subbie, thumbs up, and hit the bell.
I very much appreciate your Ikea tour. They have so many products that would be really helpful throughout our homes and some that would be terrific in our RV. Storage is an enormous challenge in those traveling homes. I have been in Ikea a couple of times and just felt overwhelmed by the experience. Your video has given me some new ideas and areas to search through, so I will be going back soon. Thanks for sharing your ideas and perspectives, they were quite helpful.
I only have a small space for crafting and it's pretty much exclusively Ikea desk, drawers and storage! Their products are so cheap and good quality too. My desk is quit a few years old and in great condition. I can't wait to get a craft room I'm going to Ikea the hell out of it! Great video with great tips. TFS! Xxx
I have had an Expedit (now tweaked and called Kallax) unit (4 x 4) and ( 2 x 2) with attached table for ten years. It is the best purchase I ever made for my studio area. I also have Alex drawers that I love so much! The Raskog cart is also pretty spiffy! If I could give any crafter/artist advice it would be GO to Ikea for your items! Thanks for the video!!
We have a new IKEA here but I haven’t been yet. I’m hoping the one here will have fabric selection. I totally need to go check it out! Thanks for the tour and great tips.
@@ScrappyWife Thank you! That's great to know! It was so jam packed for the first couple of months they had park and ride shuttles to go over. So I've been waiting. But, gosh, I'm so excited to visit. And I need to go soon!
Just spent the afternoon with my hubby at IKEA yesterday picking up some more organizational items. One of his finds, was the over-the-cabinet-door storage that can be wall mounted with one of the bar things from the kitchen area. I plan to use it to hold my paper trimmer, scoring board, and large rulers. Great ideas.
I love all your ideas! I hadn't thought of some of them! I have one more space to fill in my room, I think I"m going back for that wood topped cart! Thanks!
Great tour! I also live 10 minutes from Ikea, & always come home with way more than I had planned on buying. But everything does get used. I'm reorganizing my craft room/office, so it's time for another trip. TFS!
I have quite a few of the items you showed from Ikea. Lots of ideas there if you think outside the box. I do quilting, sewing and embroidery so storage is very important to keeping me organized.
You totally gave away all my finds! But I hadn’t seen the cart yet! Awesome. I just repurposed cabinets that have been in my studio space, my living room, my garage and are now back in my new studio. Only IKEA! Thanks!
Good Heavens, IKEA SHOULD be paying you for this! What a wonderful showcase of their store from a Crafters viewpoint. We just had a brand new and much anticipated IKEA open here in my part of Virginia and NOW I actually WANT to go there.. LOL! Thank you for a wonderful guide.
Thank you for sharing! My nearest IKEA store is 2 hours away...I love all of those smaller bins that hang from the bars. Awesome stuff! Stay safe! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊
WOW. I've been going to IKEA for almost 2 decades (though not much recently) and i have TOTALLY been under-utilizing Ikea! I got some great ideas! thanks :)
Thanks for a very informative and helpful video. IKEA can easily overwhelm me and your tips are awesome. I especially like how you show the versatility of certain items. For example, using shelves/drawers from your daughter’s room in your craft space (hope I got that right:). I really like repurposing things in my home too. As for the comment about your camera moving...I didn’t notice anything like that. Well done, helpful video. Thanks again.
Thank you for sharing. I had never been to Ikea but its probably for the best or I would have to rob bank to buy everything I liked lol. And don't listen to the "critics" you made an effort to share something and some people are just unappreciative. Have a great day! ❤
This. I thought her camera work was fine. I am so disappointed that so many viewers were ungrateful. Immediately they were complaining! Which doesn't make any sense, especially when they each have the option to slow the video down in the settings. I don't think they realize how much work it takes to film and edit.. It's literally hours of time that she's invested into this. And I am grateful.
ONCE YOU GET IN THERE THEY TRAP You and you can't get out until you are about to have a panic attack. There is nothing in there that is worth the maze design created in the store to keep you walking in circles for hours. It's the worst. You are not missing a thing. You can buy this stuff online for same price, free shipping or just cheaper. I am a real crafter. I like to spend my time crafting. I dont care what my craft room looks like, it's me. I am not going to go shopping on purpose to find out what anybody has to improve my craft room.. I prefer to spend my time crafting. I might have a huge beautiful coffee cup (which was a gift) for my crochet hooks but it's me I love it and it matches nothing LOL.
@@louisedery1049 I don't have. Craftroom and for that reason I would like to get some of the Alex shelves I think they are called so I could keep my stuff in categories and neatly organized.
Thanks for the tour! I live in Sweden and it was fun for me to be guided. I have been shopping in IKEA since the end of the 1970-es. I also love many of their products and I like their modern colorful design. I wasn't too happy though last week when I bought a writing desk. In the manual there were 29 pictures explaining how to put it together, pretty complicated. It was tough, but I made it after some struggling. Happy Holidays :D
Wow! What a great video. I love IKEA but I am 4 hours away from it. I took a road trip last fall to get new Alex units for my craft room. Love IKEA! Thanks for doing this video. It has helped me with more ideas for my craft room.
Great ideas ☺️ In Jan, 2014, we drove an hour to our nearest IKEA, in a snowstorm, to furnish my tiny sewing room. It was so easy to customize a table/legs/drawers, along with 3 expedit units to fit a very small space. I’ve since moved into a larger room, with closet space, but the IKEA still serves me well....minus a couple of expedit cubby units that my daughter needed when she got married. 😂😂 Hoping IKEA builds closer to me soon 👍
I love IKEA! They were going to open one ear me, but then changed their minds. 😢 The nearest store is 3 hours away. I have to order from them online when I want something. I used to live near the Philadelphia store and couldn’t shop there enough. lol. I have 2 Raskogs, and my daughter’s each have one...great for cleaning supplies and planner/journal supplies. Thanks for the tour. Time to take a closer look at my catalog.
JUST IN TIME! I’m moving into a larger craft room, my son has left his large IKEA corner desk in the room. Thank you for the EXCELLENT tour and idea tips , extremely helpful for me .👍👍👍
How did you miss the table in the work/office area that can be set to standing OR sitting level with a simple hand crank? Plus, you can buy just the leg set up and put your own top on it. Great video!
Thanks for the great video! IKEA is definitely my favorite shopping place & one just opened up about 30 minutes from me! I was just there in April & I can't believe how much new stuff there is already!
For those of you who are concerned/complaining about the speed... Please take some accountability, go to the Settings in the top right hand corner. Those three dots in the top right-hand corner when you pause the video, touch those with your Mouse if you're at a desktop or laptop or if you're on your mobile device touch it with your finger or stylus. You will see approximately 3 lines down something that says playback speed. Most likely next to playback speed it will say normal. If you touch one of the three options above normal you'll be able to slow down your video to a speed that helps you not feel motion sickness. This creative crafter put a lot of time and effort into her video. Whilst having in the back of her head that she still had to pick up her kiddos within a reasonable amount of time. We should all be kinder and more grateful. Constructive criticism is necessary for growth and so is personal accountability. Change the settings and enjoy the video at a rate that is comfortable for you. :-)
Really great way to help train your eye to look at things for storage. I admit I get completely overwhelmed when I go into an Ikea and this was a good way to prioritize and visually "edit" what I need. 👍🏽
I love IKEA just wish I didn’t have to drive 90 minutes to get to one or if it were as big as yours. I just bought more Kallax shelving this past weekend since I already had some and wanted to expand a little more. Our store is just one story and doesn’t have as much like you showed here. Would love to shop at yours 😂. I did see some difference in price too on the Bins you showed which I just bought and I paid $3.99 each when it showed $2.99 for yours. So jealous of your store 😂 you have so much more there than we have here. I combine my Kallax shelving with different inserts from Stamp-n-storage; makes it so much easier for Scrapbookers or Card makers or any craft really since they will also custom make things for you.
I understand your speedy tour. My daughter told me the store is huge & you only have 1 1/2 hour of free child care . I am sure they had fun too. But you did a good job in the amount of time you filmed.
Ooooh..... I’ve never been to an Ikea yet, but now I must go to the one that opened a year ago and only 40 mins. away. I had no idea they had so much interesting stuff!
Great video for the anyone who hasn’t been an IKEA shopper for awhile. There are several companies that make storage modules for paper, ink pads, markers, etc specifically designed for use with the IKEA Kallax and Alex units. I have lots of IKEA.
thanks for the tour. we don't have an IKEA here in Corning NY, so it is difficult to imagine what 'could be' in our craft rooms. now we have a better place to start when we go to the website.
Thank you. It’s a five hour drive for me. I’ve been working on my shopping list for next weekends trip for a few weeks now and i saw things I didn’t know about.
Great tips same as you I love Ikea, husband hates it! But I am a crafter and I love craft and storage ideas! Plenty to think about here! Thank you for a great video!
I haven't been to Ikea in ages and then there is Covid 19. Just can't wait to go and look around. Thank you for the outstanding tour!! I-m a new subscriber looking forward to your channel ideas. Take care and Stay safe from Debbie and her rescued chihuahua Dexter-Dog in Southern California. 🙋🐾😎🇺🇸
From the comments, it looks like I'm in the minority of enjoying how quickly you went through the store. Maybe you should edit your 'about' section to suggest that people click on the settings icon to slow down the playback speed. I know I'll be doing that on a rewatch to take a closer look at some of the products that looked really interesting to me. No Ikea's near me and it would mean a long drive and a hotel stay to shop there but you can get lots of their things online too. Thank you for the great tour!
I’m not into crafting but your video is interesting. I’ve been visiting IKEA for 20 years or so. We used to live in Germany and the nearest one was about 90 minutes drive away. We would drive there just to get hot dogs 😂. We would always come home with things we didn’t want. Now we have a store in Belfast and all my wardrobes are from there. We love it.
Love this! There’s an IKEA about 90 miles from me. Pretty sure I need to go now! 😂 ps- your video is just great because it shows that you were really there. That’s what videos are for!
Hi Elisa, how are you? I loved watching this video. You are blessed having an IKEA near you. Your craft room is Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Take care.
ThankU for this Video. I've never been to IKEA. Now I have a peek. If the Weather wasn't so bad today, I would take a trip out there. HavA Wonderful & Blessed Day!😁
Your video was great! I LOVE IKEA. I furnished ALL of my craft rooms w/IKEA. I’m lucky too; when I lived in CT up until 3 1/2 yrs ago IKEA was 10 min away. I moved to FL in 2017 began all over again creating another craft room. Unfortunately I moved and had just finally set up another craft room but was in the hospital for 3 weeks and upon coming home I was told I needed to move yet once again. Lol gotta laugh... so now I’m in a very small brand new apartment but I took a 2 bedroom so I could have a dedicated craft space. I’m at the tail end once again and can’t wait to start crafting again. It’s been way too long.....This craft room is ALL IKEA. I really love IKEA for crafting. The furniture is not junk is very stable and I like the clean look; plus you can’t beat the prices. So I agree with you- GO IKEA LOL
Well, just as I resolve to cut back on my crafting budget, I come across this. I saw several items that would be a huge help in my craft room. Thanks for the tour and commentary.
I have been collecting Ikea furniture since they opened here in 1986. We must have at least 40 Billy book cases in the house (lots of books, AND craft supplies). On the Billies in the craft room I use the BINZ clear kitchen bins that can stack - they come in all kinds of sizes. The CD shelf unit you talked about - I have one to store all my Sizzix Bigz dies. The regular standard size fits perfectly. My crafting desk is a pine kitchen table we picked up for a great price in 1989. Yes, I can attest to both the storage possibilities (and the crafting materials!) that Ikea has to offer.
LOVE Ikea for crafting supplies. I have successfully used the Ikea Alex cabinets for both my Etsy shop storage as well as in my studio work space as the shallow drawers make organization a breeze. I recently discovered the Bekant series and used the tabletop for my cutting table and the desk which is adjustable in height for my new sewing machine which was too high on a standard desk. I don’t mind the assembly... I enjoy the challenge and the ability to bring home the pieces in a box that will fit in my vehicle.
Wonderful job suggesting all those items and ideas! I hate to do it, but I may just have to go back there again, but this time I'll use a scooter. Hopefully they have one. The place is so big and my hip is not that great, so I almost panicked last time because I couldn't get out and my hip was killing me, till a worker took pity on me and let me out the side door.
I had zero issues with your camera work and really enjoyed the tour. I want it all! And they should most definitely be sponsoring you. Have you pursued this?
@@ScrappyWife it seems like, a lot of people are ungrateful. They don't realize how many hours you invested into this video. If they haven't been to and Ikea, they don't realize that just going there is an all-day process LOL even if it's only 10 minutes from your home. Not to mention the hours of conceptualizing your video, filming it and editing. I thought it was fine and at an appropriate speed. We also have the option to slow down our speed of watching in the settings. Most people that are used to UA-cam understand that. Unfortunately what you are experiencing in the comment section is pack mentality. One person commented and it just caught on like wildfire and the truth is it's not even that's serious. I've been so frustrated reading these comments and I just wanted you to know I am grateful and appreciative that you did this video. It gave me a ton of great ideas! Rest assured that there are many viewers here that feel the same way I do. Many blessings to you :-)
@@evolvewithmonette not a lack of gratitude. An honest statment of how she could improve her filming. And since she clearly has ideas she wants to share, making them more accessible can only help.
Down2This yes but the criticism can be said in a constructive helpful way or a rude entitled way. Unfortunately the vast majority of people commenting on the camera work have chosen the rude "it's all about me way". Unfortunately when one person posts a rude comment it sometimes gives others reading that it is ok for them to be rude too. I think that is the "pack mentality " referred to here. There have been a few comments that have been positive and give really good advice on how to fix some of the camera work issues. I have enjoyed reading those.
RVers love Ikea. I had never heard of it before that. There is one in our State about 8 hours from here, if no pit stops! I will look to see if they have online shopping. Thanks
I've never been to an Ikea or even bought anything from there. I found I had to go into settings and slow the video down so much and then I couldn't understand what you were saying, but no big deal, I just put CC on. I could put it on 25, and that was nearly too fast. Ugh. I am actual nauseous.... gotta go lie down for at least an hour. Loved the information on the video. Please know, I only brought this up in case you make any more "speedy" videos, and that I really do appreciate this video. I saw much more this way than if I were at the store in person. Thank you very much.
It's called Lustigt. Here's the link: www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/childrens-ikea-products/children-3-7/toys-play/lustigt-arts-and-crafts-storage-wood-art-00384526/
I loved this tour. My nearest one is hours away in Atlanta and it isn't a good time to travel because of Covid19. So this was perfect. Thank you. Cathryn
I love Ikea, I have to go to Edinburgh or Glasgow for my nearest store. I had to laugh about the "escaping mummy" expression, I remember that feeling well!
This was so helpful! I really appreciate the ideas, and I will definitely use some of them, those spice racks are awesome for storing little ink bottles, paints and essential oils. One thing though - it was hard to take in some of the stuff you showed because the camera was a bit shaky and moved too fast. Try slowing down the movements, and edit out the sweeps between each item, or just take still photos and give it a good 3 seconds to view before transitions. Thanks so much, I can tell you really put some thought into the ideas! 😉
As a Swede I find it facinating that IKEA is basically all over the world, but feeling for you guys who have to pronounciate what must seem like very exotic words and names! 😆 You know, us Swedes actually know what they mean ! 🙃😂 Anyway, thanks for the tour - always good to remember to check Ikea for org hacks.
I have never been to an IKEA- I think it is 4 or 5 hours to the closest one. I kept wishing you would slow down a little, so I could see without feeling dizzy. It is probably a good thing I don't live near one--Thanks for sharing!
Those Sunnersta bins work with my Elfa shelf rails (the piece that goes in slots at the back of the shelf to keep things from falling towards the wall.) Was a quick pick at the store years ago. Really wish I could have a day in the store but Ikea is more than two hours away.
I've been using IKEA pieces for years in my studio. I love their fabrics as well. We have a complete IKEA home. Your video is fab. 😊

One of his finds, was the over-the-cabinet-door storage that can be wall mounted with one of the bar things from the kitchen area. I plan to use it to hold my paper trimmer, scoring board, and large rulers. Great ideas.
Great find!
Oh great now I have to go to ikea today. Lol needed some planting containers anyway. Thanks for the video!
💜💜💜
I love all your ideas! I hadn't thought of some of them! I have one more space to fill in my room, I think I"m going back for that wood topped cart! Thanks!
😊
Great tour! I also live 10 minutes from Ikea, & always come home with way more than I had planned on buying. But everything does get used. I'm reorganizing my craft room/office, so it's time for another trip. TFS!
I love how there are always new things to discover at IKEA!
I have quite a few of the items you showed from Ikea. Lots of ideas there if you think outside the box. I do quilting, sewing and embroidery so storage is very important to keeping me organized.
Those are hobbies that definitely require organization...tons of small bits and pieces!
You totally gave away all my finds! But I hadn’t seen the cart yet! Awesome. I just repurposed cabinets that have been in my studio space, my living room, my garage and are now back in my new studio. Only IKEA! Thanks!
Haha, I love that! IKEA can be used anywhere!
Was just thinking about using IKEA as I set up a crafty/office space in my small apartment. great video chock full of ideas.TFS!!
Thank you!!!
What a great tour! Never realized they had so much these days. And reasonably priced. Thanks.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for the extensive tour. I just purchased the tornviken kitchen island for cutting table and love it.
Wonderful!
💕💕💕💕
Thank you for sharing! My nearest IKEA store is 2 hours away...I love all of those smaller bins that hang from the bars. Awesome stuff! Stay safe! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊
Thanks so much! 😊. It is worth the trip when you feel safe!
You are very welcome! I agree! 😊
Thanks for the positive comments Renee. I am glad the video was helpful!
Ppl will ALWAYS find something to gripe about. How about they just turn the video off & they can go do their own video. Put up or hush up! 😂🤣😂
@@louisedery1049 I went in the new IKEA near me today. You are right you walk round and you cant see any exits. I had to ask staff how to get out.
Glad you were able to figure it out...that assembly can really be tough!
Wow! What a great video. I love IKEA but I am 4 hours away from it. I took a road trip last fall to get new Alex units for my craft room. Love IKEA! Thanks for doing this video. It has helped me with more ideas for my craft room.
Thanks!
Great ideas ☺️
In Jan, 2014, we drove an hour to our nearest IKEA, in a snowstorm, to furnish my tiny sewing room. It was so easy to customize a table/legs/drawers, along with 3 expedit units to fit a very small space. I’ve since moved into a larger room, with closet space, but the IKEA still serves me well....minus a couple of expedit cubby units that my daughter needed when she got married. 😂😂 Hoping IKEA builds closer to me soon 👍
songbird857 you can always shop online and have it delivered to you. Not as much fun as going to the store, but you can still get what you need.
👍🏻
Thanks for the info! So many great ideas, many of which I would have missed (I get so overwhelmed!) P.S. Your boys are adorable!
Thank you!
I❤️ IKEA! Thanks for showing all the cool ideas! Happy shopping!
Thanks for watching!
Bummer I live in the area but the Plymouth meeting one is the one I go to
JUST IN TIME! I’m moving into a larger craft room, my son has left his large IKEA corner desk in the room. Thank you for the EXCELLENT tour and idea tips , extremely helpful for me .👍👍👍
So sweet, thank you!
How did you miss the table in the work/office area that can be set to standing OR sitting level with a simple hand crank? Plus, you can buy just the leg set up and put your own top on it. Great video!
Totally saw that one but it didn’t make it into the video! The floor model was broken 😢
Thanks for the great video! IKEA is definitely my favorite shopping place & one just opened up about 30 minutes from me! I was just there in April & I can't believe how much new stuff there is already!
It always surprises me how often they are able to update!
🙌🏻
The speech slows down too. Weird.
Really great way to help train your eye to look at things for storage. I admit I get completely overwhelmed when I go into an Ikea and this was a good way to prioritize and visually "edit" what I need. 👍🏽
Yay! Glad it helped!
Very interesting
👍🏻
Thanks for the tour, some helpful hints. Loved how you ditched the kids then went for a feed! Fair enough!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I understand your speedy tour. My daughter told me the store is huge & you only have 1 1/2 hour of free child care . I am sure they had fun too. But you did a good job in the amount of time you filmed.
I agree and Carla is a beautiful name.
Thanks!
Ooooh..... I’ve never been to an Ikea yet, but now I must go to the one that opened a year ago and only 40 mins. away. I had no idea they had so much interesting stuff!
It is such a fun place to visit for sure!
Craft room goals !!! 🤗🤗🤗 It's so organized. I love it!
💕💕💕
Great video for the anyone who hasn’t been an IKEA shopper for awhile. There are several companies that make storage modules for paper, ink pads, markers, etc specifically designed for use with the IKEA Kallax and Alex units. I have lots of IKEA.
So true! Lots of possibilities
What a great video! Best one I’ve seen. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the kind words! 😊
Loved it, thank you. I have lots of Ikea products in my craft room, cupboards, chair, desk, boxes, rails.thanks for posting🙋🏽♀️👍🏽
You are so welcome!
This is awesome! I have an IKEA near me but I rarely go. Im going to plan a "day at IKEA".
Sometimes it takes a day just to take it all in!
thanks for the tour. we don't have an IKEA here in Corning NY, so it is difficult to imagine what 'could be' in our craft rooms. now we have a better place to start when we go to the website.
Yay! Glad it was helpful!
Thank you. It’s a five hour drive for me. I’ve been working on my shopping list for next weekends trip for a few weeks now and i saw things I didn’t know about.
It is always good to plan ahead!
Great tips same as you I love Ikea, husband hates it! But I am a crafter and I love craft and storage ideas! Plenty to think about here! Thank you for a great video!
💜💜💜
I wish Ikea had a crafters (space) section showing off everything, you have given me some good ideas and I was just at Ikea yesterday.
Yup--I wish they had great EXPEDIT boxes for crafting/scrapbooking. They don't really have any good options for paper storage...
It is crazy if they don't. So many crafters make their rooms from there. Never been, but I was thinking the same thing when she was showing the video
That would be so cool!
Welcome! And, I am so glad you enjoyed the video :). Give that cutie dog a hug!
I got motion sickness watching it.. lol
@@brookeshull7820 me too! Great video... but woooow... i'm so dizzy now!
👍🏻
I’m not into crafting but your video is interesting. I’ve been visiting IKEA for 20 years or so. We used to live in Germany and the nearest one was about 90 minutes drive away. We would drive there just to get hot dogs 😂. We would always come home with things we didn’t want.
Now we have a store in Belfast and all my wardrobes are from there. We love it.
It's such a fun place to visit...and yes, you always end up with things you didn't go there for! 😂
Take care.
Thanks!
Thanks for the AS-IS section tip!
You are welcome!
Loved, loved, loved..!
Your IKEA tour, awesome film too..! Love your calm voice explaining everything..Thanks.
Very handsome boys you got there...!
Thank you so much for your kind words 💕
Looks like so much fun! I would love to go there.
It is a fun place to visit!
ThankU for this Video. I've never been to IKEA. Now I have a peek. If the Weather wasn't so bad today, I would take a trip out there. HavA Wonderful & Blessed Day!😁
It’s a fun store to explore for sure!
IKEA is amazing and your boys are adorable!
Thank you!
I've heard about IKEA but have never gone. Thank you for your thorough video! Looking forward to checking it out!
Awesome!
I have never been to an IKEA! I see a trip in my future. TY!
Have a fun time!
I love living so close to an IKEA. I think when we first moved in, I went every day for like 3 weeks!
Great video! Love IKEA. Enjoy your boys, it goes by too fast. I know because my boys are turning 30 in a couple of weeks.
💜💜💜
Well, just as I resolve to cut back on my crafting budget, I come across this. I saw several items that would be a huge help in my craft room. Thanks for the tour and commentary.
Haha, we’ve all been there! Thanks for watching 💕
Wow! I thought I knew everything about IKEA!
Thank you, thank you, thank you❣
👍🏻
I love IKEA and thank you for showing this great ideas for storage and more
Thanks for checking out the video!
I see the word IKEA and I’m hooked!
Sounds like you have found some fantastic solutions! I also don't mind the building - makes me feel accomplished!
Wow,thanks for taking the time. This will help alot!
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
It is definitely a HUUUUGE store!
Nice video. I really enjoyed seeing all of the Ikea products and your ideas.
Thanks!
Thanks for the tour. So envious as we are still waiting for an Ikea in Hawaii. I think I could be in there for hours, lol.
Haha, for real, you can spend a long time in there!
Great video thank you. Sadly no Ikea in little old New Zealand..... looks like a very adictable sort of store!!! Cheers, DEB T
It is!
Ty...I want a dream box but I saw so many cheaper options at ikea im going this week and I'm gonna make my space fabulous
The Dream box is super cool, but yes, very expensive. IKEA is more affordable for sure!
I had zero issues with your camera work and really enjoyed the tour. I want it all! And they should most definitely be sponsoring you. Have you pursued this?
Thank you for checking out the video, and I’m glad you didn’t mind the camera work. Seems like a lot of people really didn’t like it 😳
@@ScrappyWife it seems like, a lot of people are ungrateful.
Thanks
There are some online options for sure.
Great video! So many GREAT ideas! Thanks! And there is nothing wrong with your camera work. Keep up the fun videos.
Thank you!!! I will!
I didn't find anything wrong with the video & I get motion sickness very easy. She wasn't twirling round & round. I thought it was great.
Thank for the tour of ikea, love this store, planning a craft room! Lots of great ideas!
Thanks for watching! Hope it gets you excited to work on your craft room!
👍🏻
some fab ideas for storage already got my shopping list ready
Great!!
Love the kids wooden tool box. Don't seem to stock it here in the UK :-(
It's called Lustigt.
Here's the link:

They don't sell it anymore here!
I love IKEA!!!! Thank you for making this. I love your craft room.
Thank you 😊
I loved this tour. My nearest one is hours away in Atlanta and it isn't a good time to travel because of Covid19. So this was perfect. Thank you. Cathryn
Thanks for watching!
I love Ikea, I have to go to Edinburgh or Glasgow for my nearest store. I had to laugh about the "escaping mummy" expression, I remember that feeling well!
😊
Hey folks, no need for the negative comments. Just be kind. Thank you for taking your time to show us. I appreciate it
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This was so helpful! I really appreciate the ideas, and I will definitely use some of them, those spice racks are awesome for storing little ink bottles, paints and essential oils. One thing though - it was hard to take in some of the stuff you showed because the camera was a bit shaky and moved too fast. Try slowing down the movements, and edit out the sweeps between each item, or just take still photos and give it a good 3 seconds to view before transitions. Thanks so much, I can tell you really put some thought into the ideas! 😉
Totally understand - this was my first attempt a couple of years ago. I have more recent ones on my channel now!
Oh I love IKEA, from Singapore, to New York, to Las Vegas, I just love love love!!!!
Me too!
Haha, yes the names are definitely challenging for us! 😂
I have never been to an IKEA- I think it is 4 or 5 hours to the closest one. I kept wishing you would slow down a little, so I could see without feeling dizzy. It is probably a good thing I don't live near one--Thanks for sharing!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Those Sunnersta bins work with my Elfa shelf rails (the piece that goes in slots at the back of the shelf to keep things from falling towards the wall.) Was a quick pick at the store years ago. Really wish I could have a day in the store but Ikea is more than two hours away.
Yeah, I fell super lucky to live close and to be able to pop in and out!
