About Us
We're Field of Visions (Nadia, Irfan and Baby Zakariya). In March 2022 we packed our things in the UK and set out on a mission to prove everyone wrong - your travelling days are not over when you start a family.
So when Zakariya was 5 months old, we set out on an adventure around the world.

Im ashamed to say as a Malaysian for 35 years I've never been to Sabah or Sarawak. The culture there is abit different I heard and feels pretty much like a different country. There are much more ethnicities there (the Borneo people) than in East Malaysia where there are the basic 4 (Malay,Chinese,Indian and Sikhs)...there are many Chinese and local ethnic Sabahan/Sarawakians there but you may notice there are less Indians there. Just be sure to check the halal status of foods there as unlike East Malaysia where all Malays and those who look like them are Muslims, the west has Malay looking people but they are not Muslims and eat non halal food. Enjoy your time there!
Thank you for letting us know about the halal situation. We always tend to check it’s just a habit we have living in the UK lol I really hope you get to visit one day. Indeed it is totally different but so beautiful at the same time.
@@FieldofVisions i was supposed to move to WP Labuan but things didnt work out and I ended up moving to Thailand. Have a safe&fun trip guys! Do holla at me if you plan on coming to the south of Thailand. Many fun places my wife and I can take you and the fly to.
Hai bro i think u are little bit confusing between west and east. East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak) while West Malaysia (Peninsular).

That habib restaurant give free water for school kids, me and my friend will stop there and having a free water like almost every day. After this down fall of economic due to covid, a lot of shop and restaurants has been closed, this HABIB still operating and provide a very good food. May this restaurant always make a profit and the owner will be rewarded in heaven for his goodness.

try coto makassar infront of Labuk bus station Sandakan, the restaurant share with chinese kopitiam, but halal. the chinese serve drinks only, Haji serve food. coto makassar is lagend in Sandakan n favorite tourist n local there. the restaurant open 7 am to 10am, dont be late or you will come the next day

Hey guys, I'm Traveling to Sabah soon and I've seen warning all over the internet about kidnappings in the Sandakan area. Is there any truth to this or is it completely over blown? Locals please comment also :) Cant wait to arrive!
We spent almost 3 weeks in Sabah and didn’t even notice a single thing of such sort. It’s safe to say these type of news are over exaggerated by media.
For your family's safety, do not go straight into rivers in Sabah and Sarawak, crocodile attacks have been rampant since the beginning of time. Enjoy your stay there !!
