Personally, I always loved the cloud people in Cloud Spires. First, they're some of the only NPCs with high-pitched voices that aren't annoying. Second, they have an *adorable* design. And third, they're all named after types of clouds (cumulonimbus, anyone?) I also really liked the cavemen from Skelos Badlands, and the Eskimo guys from Crystal Glacier - they're just so delightfully simpleminded.
Moneybags is my favorite (Closely followed by Handel and Greta), especially Year Of The Dragon's Moneybags. He has some of my favorite line of the series. Every time I go back and play it, I will always say no to Moneybags before agreeing just to exhaust his dialogue every time he appears.

Oh I loved those penguins! My cousins and I loved to freeze them too. And no matter how many times you froze them, they would always have the same response and animation
I do like all the NPCs in Spyro games,they are so cheerfull, lively and fun to talk with.

I really liked the Weather Imps in Cloud Spires, probably cos they kinda look like a mix of a teddy bear and a fairy. :D
I agree I loved the characters with the deep/strange voices that you wouldn't expect, like the wizards or the penguins.

I always saw the water wizards as newt people. One of my favorite world inhabitants were the polar bears from Icy Peak. I still get a chuckle from their accents.
love all NPCs and enemies in the games.just shows how imaginative these games are.

The Lions of Sunny Villa. I'm a cat lover, so this level was an instant hit for me, plus, the Roman architecture gave me that feeling of being in Italy.
Love this top 10. I'm pretty much in full agreement with you on them.
Fracture Hills is my favourite level in the series, along with the Fauns from that level being my favourite NPC's :D

Amusing? Try satisfying. The Earthshapers are the most annoying enemies in Spyro 2 in my opinion.
I always find myself always going to Fracture Hills even if I have already passed the board.
I love the guy in Spyro 2 when he says " Trouble with the trolley eh" and Crazy Ed I just love his voice and my favorite is.....

Yes!!! I love the Frozen Altars penguins. I called them the sexy penguins because, well, I could listen to that voice all day! Oh, yes sir!

This is definitely my fave video of yours! I had such a huge grin on my face the whole time. ^^ Even though I disagreed with a couple of your choices! For one, the deep voice of those penguins actually creeped me out a bit, and the water wizards just looked weeeeiiiird. XD But I definitely agree with you about the rest of them, especially the Gemcutters and Sea Horses! I so wanted to blast those shock stick guys out of the water!
Though I must say my favorites are the lion-mouse (?) critters of Sunny Villa. The way they talk all big about fighting the rynocs when really they were just running away! And don't forget Marco, who enlisted Sheila to go pester his ex-girlfriend since he was kept away by a restraining order! That part always cracked me up! =D
My Favorite NPCs have always been the Cavemen from Skelos Badlands, Mostly because My first exposure to Spyro was Spyro 2 on a Pizza Hut Demo Disk. The way they talked always tickled me when I was little. The Frozen Altars Penguins are a close second, mostly because of the same reason. They sound like Spyro doing an impression of Snake, and I love it.
That is EXACTLY how my sister and I first learned/played Spyro was through Pizza Hut! Skelos Badlands indeed! Yep! That was the free level :)
I might just be getting old but I love the old spyro models more than the reignited ones. They're so cute and have a lot of charm
The Cavemen in the Badlands and then later on making an appearance in Enchanted Towers. Also the Pandas in Bamboo Terrace were just too dang nice.

You play as Hunter in a hero's tail and in the speedways on spyro 3, also, Greta and Handel are two dumb jerks
My favorite are the Icebuilders from Crystal Glacier, followed by the Satyrs from Magma Cone and the Monks from Collossus.
Frozen Altars Reignited game play just dropped and I immediately thought of you, Miharu 😀😀

Another good list purple vixen! I can agree on the Gemcutters, the Haunted Tomb Dogs, the Haiku Fireflies, and those French hummingbirds. lol My favourites also include the Turtles from Sunny Beach, the Shaman Guys from Skelos Badlands, the Hippos from Shady Oasis, the Pandas from Bamboo Terrace, the whole Fairy vs Cat Wizard stuff in Charmed Ridge and the Rabbit Sheriffs from Dino Mines.
Another idea for a Top 10 you could do is Top 10 Favourite Spyro Enemies, given the variety of enemies you fight in all three games. Keep up the good work! :D
That is another one I plan to do soon! I have a lot of Top 5/10 list ideas, just figuring out which one to do first.
Nice! Oh and since I just realised you said NPCs from other games count as well another favourite of mine is the Ice Princess from A Hero's Tail, another fox/vixen character. :D
Extremely hard to choose from but these are mine. Hunter, Elora, Moneybags, Bianca and Zoe I don’t think count because they’re non-exclusive to any world and stay with Spyro throughout the games

Thank you! I actually do write scripts for these, but I write how I speak so it doesn't come out stiff. I'm glad you like my jokes and editing, though I actually have an editor now for my recent videos and he's way better at it than me.

Loved agent zero. Loved the hippos who were berry fiends. Loved/hated our boys in skelos and glacier (so cute, but so annoying to save!) Loved the cats and fairies fighting over the wedding in charmed ridge. Loved those bizarre magicians in midnight mountain in Spyro 3. Loved the robots in metropolis.
And last but not least, fave line from the trilogy:

Sunny Beach is my favourite level because I played the demo discs for the original spyro 2 so much as a kid and I love the theme. My favourite NPCs would have to be the turtle people there because its my favourite level and I like their calm, zen demeanor.
I think all the NPCs are pretty interesting. Your picks were pretty cool. Also I love how we help Breezebuilers and Land Blubbers, is it blubber? It shows cool dragon neutrality.

I know I'm late. I'd have to really think about it and go through the game again but I know the Fireflies, the billy goats, and the cavemen are very likely my top 3. But honestly I love the Gnorcs. Like they are so cool to me

Just thinking. Like how they're making all the dragons individual, I can't help but wonder if NPCs will get a similar treatment. I really hope so. Even small variations can go a long way to make them seem more like individuals than clones.
I love the pandas I just wish they kept their original voices in reignited trilogy it made them sound cute
I liked the Fireflies as a kid because they reminded me of Mew from Pokémon. Back then I didn't know enough English to really understand what any of the characters were saying, so I didn't even realise they were speaking differently.

Replaying Spryo 2 (Reignited Trilogy) with the super flame and only had trouble with the trolley this time only 3 times lol I was determined to not hear it. First time through it was several times lol
Always thought the Water Wizards of Mystic Marsh were actually clams that actually grew limbs due to being a fusion of a clam and a human, similar to how most of Mystic Marsh's enemies were mishmashed animals.
Its Vairen Clams, huh? Interesting. Never thought of that.

One of the Male Fauns from Magma Cone and one of the Female Fauns from Fracture Hills could become a couple
the list is great but this is weird for me because i felt the NPCs and enemies kinda dimmed the quality because they were copy and pasted.
the other reason is a few of them are so basic that the reignited trilogy is gonna have to take a few liberties with the redesigns just like the gnorc enemies from the first game being round green blobs.
the wizards from mystic marsh and cloud temple, the turtles, cavemen, robots, and mcdonald's grimace's invasion of scorch lol
Not quite sure what you mean by "copy and pasted". Could you elaborate?
well each level has multiple NPCs but there's no individuality to them besides the speech and names.
Some do have slightly altered designs such as grundy and bruno the hippos wearing red, the alchemist in fracture hills, inventor droid from metropolis, basil, the chef some of the gemcutters had different lights or coloured helmets i think etc.
But the majority of NPCs within a level all share the same design, i don't mind this with enemies because there are that many of them but these are supposed to be characters. In crystal glacier or skelos badlands for example, as you travel through the level it feels like you're speaking to the same dude. even the names are the same in crystal glacier, just with a different vowel.
Oh, I see. Well, limited PS1 capabilities and all that. Perhaps they'll make each one slightly more unique in Reignited, like they seem to be doing with the dragons.
yeah that's what I'm hoping. Your theory on Oswin made a lot of sense and in the first spyro I hope they keep the thank you for releasing me Thor in town square but make him cowardly, same with conan in dry canyon being in a warzone too. lol
Mines would have to be the farmers from robotica farms.
Am I the only one who thought the level was called The Tiki Lodge, and not Molten Crater, because of the tikis obsession with meeting them there?

Surprisingly, no. Only copyright notice I've gotten so far is for using some Skylanders footage in another video.
Okay, that's strange, considering the fact how brutal the copyright system is nowadays, good though that some OST tracks aren't flagged!

The hippos from shady oasis
My favorite spyro npcs are Handel and Gwettle
The Mystic Marsh wizards and sorcerers from Cloud Temple, with my absolute favorite being the Fairy Princess from Charmed Ridge. I think the wizards are just humanoid with cat ears? And ponytails? I wonder what they'll look like in the remake
The monks of colossus have always been my favorite. While I love reignited, I can't forgive them for ruining their iconic chant

My Top 10 favourite Spyro NPCs
10) The Seals of Seashell Shore (SO CUTE!!!! ...in the original... Why were their appearances ruined in Reignited when they gave them whiskers...?)
9) The Tikis of Molten Crater (Like you, I found it annoying that they were always mentioning the Tiki Lodge, which I believe was going to be the original name of the level before Molten Crater was chosen instead. Glad that they fixed it for Reignited.)
8) The Monks of Colossus (Loved their appearances in both games, HATED the ice hockey missions they made you do!! And what happened to the hilarious all-bark joke that was a riot in the original, but is now a total letdown in Reignited?!!)
7) The Land Blubbers of Zephyr (...in the original, anyway... Reignited ruined these guys AND their appearances and voices for me... Bo Peep and Romeo just don't DO IT for me these days like they used to...)
6) The Mountain Goats of Sheila's Alp (LOVED their sense of humor in the original!! HAH!!!!)
5) The Seahorses of Aquaria Towers (ESPECIALLY mah boi King Flippy... in the original... Reignited made him LOOK and SOUND SO UGLY!!!! WHY?!!!! Seriously, Toys for Bob, don't try to fix things if they weren't even broken from the beginning!!)
4) The Ice Builders of Crystal Glacier (LOVE them SO MUCH, including mah boi Shaman Tuk... in the original... WHAT DID I JUST SAY ABOUT TRYING TO FIX THINGS WHEN THEY'RE NOT BROKEN?!!!!)
3) The Female Fauns of Fracture Hills (Both voices and appearances make me SQUEAL!!!!)
2) The Male Fauns of Magma Cone (Less so in the original, but SO MUCH MORE in Reignited. Still... I can't believe they messed up Magma Cone's ending cutscene in Reignited... Yet ANOTHER reason why the game NEEDED that patch that it NEVER got!!)
1) Bartholomew of Bentley's Outpost (...another example of a character being better-looking and sounding in the original... And WHY did Toys for Bob think that Bartholomew was wearing SNEAKERS of all things?!! THOSE are his FEET!!!! HE'S NOT WEARING FREAKING SNEAKERS, YOU BLIND DOLTS!!!!)
(irritated groan) I get that Toys for Bob wanted to update everything from the original games, but giving Bartholomew sneakers was them just taking things WAY TOO FAR!!!!
That was Tom Kenny voicing the Frozen Altars NPCs? Definitely doesn't remind me of him.

Makes sense really, Spyro doesn't really care about their pathetic cause, just the talismans needed to save all the dimensions. What goes on in theirs is a minor detail, a footnote in history.
