it’s WILD how much difference there is in difficulty between the ‘flight’ levels and the ‘speedway’ levels later on. all of the speedways are so much easier, even somewhat enjoyable!! those flight levels made me want to rip my hair out
The whole games are harder and trickier, even crash games. I know that most fans are in their 20's & 30's and have enough experience. But these are still children games that are made for children.
Yeah I noticed the controls are reversed like up is down and down is up, I mean I eventually got used to it but still.. why did they reverse the controls?
As a kid I played only demos versions of Spyro and Spyro 3, but I had full version of Spyro 2 and remember speedway levels as ones of my favourites. No I play reignited and suck really bad with Spyro 1 flight levels. Maybe they are harder in 1 than 2?

I think the flight levels of the first spyro are the hardest, the time limit is very short and you ned a really good route for your flights + two of those levels you are not allowed to touch the floor to unlock the Trophies for.
I agree but in the second and third you have hunter challenges to deal with(some are hard and some aren’t though) then in the third you have the races which are just super challenging lol
Oh wow, some of Sparx' speech is actually legible, one example is after the Harbor Speedway Time Attack, you can definitely hear Sparx saying "I can't wait to tell the other dragons back home". Is this true too on the original or just on this remastered edition? Cuz my childhood memories tells me Sparx can only speak in buzz in tone of the text. XD
Yep, that was true in the original. I even thought that they removed it when I first heard him in the remaster. A couple seconds later though, I realised that it's still there, thankfully.
These would’ve even be so bad if the flying controls weren’t so slippery and unresponsive. Sometimes he turns exactly how I need him to, other times if I do so much as breath on the analog stick he’ll fling himself so far to the side and hit his head on the wall.

Urgh, I HATE the paragliding mini game. I ALWAYS fail at ring 9 because Spyro will NOT go left, no matter how hard I try to make him. So I can't 100% the game because of this stupid glitch. Anyone else have this problem?
Hmm... Weird, to be honest I never finished icy speedway yet, try to quit the level and then enter it again, it should work after that, if not , try your best
Lame that the reignited spyro 3 flight levels, the obstalces you flame or fly through don't drop gems like in the original spyro 3. Like when you flamed the butterflies in the og spyro 3 you saw all the pink gems they would drop.
Screw these levels so much oh my god ive tried the wilds one what feels like 50 times at least its so frusterating. Why couldnt they have at least added the option for inverted controls instead of forcing it on everyone? The game is great but i hate these levels so much. And the night flight one, i finished right as time ran out twice and i see in the background the finishing animation but i still lost. I finally got it with .5 secs to spare. And it was a practically perfect run
I really don't get why people think these levels are hard, these are some of the easiest levels in the trilogy, most of it is just remembering patterns.
I agree flight levels aren’t that bad really the only challenging thing about them is the races in the third game and a small few of the hunter missions
