Hey, I was at the show and only really started listening to architects 2 or 3 months ago. Sam said that they were thinking whether or not they should play this song, why was that? Was it the lyrics?
Tom wrote this song specifically about his cancer, so if Sam said that, I'm assuming they were hesitant on playing it just because of how much more surreal the emotions became while being on stage performing it.
Theherrderr ~ Muse Drum Covers honestly, I would've lost it too during his speech. I'm very jealous you guys got to see them right after such a fuckin' tragedy. I can't even imagine how this show must've been. they said they're putting together a U.S. headliner soon so I have to make it out to that otherwise I might die
It made me cry. Cant imagine to be in their position, especially his brother's when he doesnt see his brother on the stage with him.
The emotion in Sam's voice holy fuck
chills. chills everywhere.
R.I.P Tom Searle
if 2:11 doesn't give you chills every single time you watch this, there's something wrong with ya brain
True. Also that 0:28 "the WIIIINDDD'' so much emotion and effort ...
This song, so incredibly powerful.
3:31 " I remember when you said to Me, my friend, hope is a prison. "
R.I.P. Tom, you will never be forgotten.
Many people will be commenting about Sam's emotional screams, but have you actually noticed Dan's emotions in drumming?
Such an emotional show. Still can't believe Tom is gone :'( R.I.P mate. Forever in our hearts.
can't help but notice how much faster Sam has started to scream.
yeah i thought they kinda rushed their set but oh well it was still insane.
Pretty sure they play to a click so i heard the intro rushed too but the rest was find
Correct, album version of the song is 3:45, this video is 3:42 so seems to be right on time.
RIP Tom
Did you manage to get any footage of after the song ended when Dan went to the crowd?
do you have more?
do you remember when you said to me my friend? Hope is a prison..

Aaron Smith Aw man, yeh I thought it could've been that, it made me really sad when he said that, so many were crying.
