- After extensive research on the market for these cars I’ve come up with a discussion I hope is helpful on 5 types of EM1s on the market today:
1. Shell/mechanics special
2. Beater
3. Solid runner
4. Head turner
5. Collectible
Bought my Cdn Em1 back in 2000. can't believe I have owned her for 23 yrs, and 9 months. almost time to take her out . but gotta keep the kms down. Great video

Great Video! The EM1 civics are great cars and until someone tries to find one they won’t understand why you paid what you did. I got an EM1 last year and similar to your beautiful EM1 was in that solid runner/head turner range. Looking forward to seeing more of your content 👍🏾

Bought my EM1 back in 2008 and still have it, my car is in the third category solid runner and I’m surprised at the offers I’ve received for it, I just refuse to sell 😊

Yeah mine has 82k and suspension on it. Wheels, shocks, swaybars. Also has a Quaife. Never been outdoors overnight. All maintenance done. Found it like this with no motor. I had to find the correct motor and strip it down to the bare block and rebuild it and install it. It has 600 miles on it now. Seems to run pretty well but I’ve never wrapped it past 4000. Just sits in my garage under a cover. I’ve also replaced the steering rack, the discs and pads, Put on a new valve, cover and countless other small things. I’ve also change the oil four times. No idea what it’s worth. It’s Milano red.

Older guy I know wants 15k paint looks great interior is super clean and runs clean title only thing I don’t like it’s turbo’d is it worth it?
FYI always buy a stock Honda over a modified one . That way you know what’s done and that it won’t be half assed .
What do you all think a super clean clone is worth.
Gest got a super clean EX with a stick shift all original never broken down just passed smog at 400 K miles Super fun little car already with the D16
Would need to know more about condition of paint, clear coat, rust, A/C working or not, etc....a clone isn't gonna fetch much money though.

I know this is a personal question but how much did you pay for your Em1? There’s one for sale in SoCal with 200k miles in EBP and it’s in mint condition and he’s asking $16,000 firm.

I purchased one with 209k miles for 7600$ 16k is high as fuck I’ve seen kitted out em1s for cheaper than that if it’s bone stock it has no business being that high unless it has like 50k miles or less only reason I would see a 16k price tag on a stock em1 200k miles???? Price should be cut in half
