Good afternoon friend. Can you give me a light on this server. We recently had a problem with the power outage and losing the operating system. I have two SAS SSD disks in raid 1 "which I don't like", but apparently there are no errors on the disks. I reinstalled the system through Idrac with a VIRTUAL CD. But it finishes the installation and when it's time to restart, and start loading windows, it simply restarts again and stays in this loop, probably because of this we lost the previous system. I do not know what to do. Perhaps changing the SSDs would solve it even though the server was not indicating an error?
I tried looking around on my computer to see if I still had it but I don't. You might just have to make your own using the Dell EMC Repository Manager like in the video.
@@Franchyze923 when doing so like you did in the video the R720 has bin removed from the select systems menu and it appears from the repository all together.
@@UNCLESAM..GANC.. hmm, I just did a fresh install of Dell EMC and R720 was listed. Base Catalog was set to Enterprise Server Catalog-22.01.28 then under Repository Type I chose Manual and then Custom then Choose Systems. drive.google.com/file/d/1LVHPtKJtUc2Ylz_Dw6eP2iYI2EmPiaBj/view If yours looks different can you send a screenshot? Also, check this video out - ua-cam.com/video/ki78B4A_XkI/v-deo.html I know they've removed older versions like the R710, but R720 should still be there.
can confirm that you install Dell EMC Repository Manager and on first start the catalog is listed a '22.01.28', you can see the 720 listed, but when you go to build it errors out. On adding the repository again the catalog has changed to '23.07.14' and the 720 is no longer listed 😮💨 . looks like it has been retired, so manual intervention required.
Awsome content thank you!
Thanks for watching! More content coming soon
