Fantastic frugality and it looks very good for the price! Here are 3 cautions when using such a low budget 1. Used items typically cant be replaced if broken meaning pics will need to be redone 2. Make sure sturdiness is a big factor in furniture (I dont think the aesthetically pleasing skinny legged chairs are gonna last long especially if a 300+ lb person sits on it. 3. Make sure that you dont just go for the cheapest you can find especially with important pieces like the couch, Tv, kitchenware ect. Typically the cheaper something is the more often you would have to replace it. Which costs you more in the long term.

Do you ever think about people bring bed bugs lice or any other bugs to your place? How would you deal with infestation of any kind? Have you ever had anybody steal from you, or damage your things? Did you get paid back for theft or damage?
I know it’s exciting to get furniture for cheap, but that stuff is not going to last. You will have to replace them much sooner than if you got decent furniture.
@@cyrusjulian187 I only thing you COULD think of would be some of the bedroom furniture, tables and kitchenware. However that is only shaving a couple of thousand off the total amount to furnish it. But there isn’t no way you can do a budget of $2,000 without the stuff looking janky or sparse. Especially bedding and mattresses. You want to spend the money there because if the body count. Really there is really no cheap way to do it. You have to create an experience and the price point will show that. My husband and I have two Airbnbs that are doing well. We had to learn that not everyone likes minimalism. 🤷🏽♀️
For me it looks quite sparse it needs a lot more decorations. I want it to look homely not minimalistic. I own 2 Airbnb in Australia and here - we make it look very stylish and use high quality products. Cheap stuff looks cheap and won’t last ……

great decorating- keeping it simple with black and white, natural wood, cane and plants is very fresh and clean

I use several different things to keep my towels and linens white such as distilled vinegar, white Brite and oxy clean.
I’d be concerned that the second bedroom doesn’t have a window as egress in an emergency. Or does it?

I was thinking the same thing. I own dogs as well but it’s not considerate to the guests so I would never allow that.
Plenty of AirBNB's have dogs. The owner usually notes it in the description, but you can always ask.
