I got invited to a village in Mindanao ➡️ • 1st Time In Philippine...
What's the first place that comes to your mind when you think of the Philippines? It's most likely a beautiful beach or some places with crystal clear water. In Coron, Palawan in the Philippines you can find exactly that. Coron is one of the most popular places to visit in the Philippines and therefore super famous. Usually I try to avoid super touristy places, but Coron is a place you have to see when visiting the Philippines. My German friend Roman joined me and we booked a private boat tour to some of the best spots Coron has to offer. Join us on the day out here to see some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen!

Hi Ken, we had as well Kayaks at Twin Lagoon (500 Php / per Kayak) in December 2018. I t seems that
a) prices explode or
b) it was a special tourist price for 1500 Php

Hello Ken, at 03:33 - 05:44 It's especially interesting to have a look under the surface of Kayangan Lake which is very bizarre. Have you been to Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (the Underground River), which is is one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the World? It's really impressive !

I have to agree about having a private tour it's definitely worth the extra buck. We did one in Boracay, also an amazing place in Philippines.

Try going to Busuanga and stay at the Busuanga Bay Lodge, reasonable and nice view, clean. There's a beach a private beach very nice and not many people.
I miss Coron Palawan. I was there 5 years ago for two months. I will definitely visit Coron and El Nido next year. 😊

Hi, new subscriber here. I enjoy watching your vlogs. The next time you visit Palawan, visit El Nido (Spanish word for "The Nest"). And when in Manila, try taking a tour around Intramuros and have a glimpse of Spanish-Philippines. There are other attractions that will take you to Old Philippines including Vigan in Ilocos Sur and also another place called Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan that also showcases the Old Filipino culture (Spanish-Philippines). It's located in Western Visayas region which is recently awarded by UNESCO as the only city in the Philippines being given the award as Creative City of Gastronomy and you can jump in next going to Guimaras a 15-20 minutes travel from Iloilo City where you can try the most famous and sweetest mango in the world.

One reason for the lack of tourists might be due to tensions in the South China sea?
As far as i know, China's '9 dash line' claim over the sea in this area runs right down the length of Palawan on the side facing China. Still, a beautiful area regardless.
Sorry but coron is not in South China Sea. Coron is inside the teretory of Philippines near from El Nido of Palawan.
