The reason why the man notice that the lady is from the south or from a Visayan region or she's a Bisaya (Visayan) is that the lady said "UWAY" the stick made from a Rattan the thin pliable stems of a palm. InTagalog word Uway is Yantok.

Caution eating food from street vendors. If there is no bathroom nearby, where do you think they relieve themselves? They have a big cup below the cabinet. Otherwise they choose an area with lots of trees and bushes.

its not called Tuktuk in Manila, its just called a tricycle, she doesnt know that Tuktuk is in Thailand not in Manila since shes not from Manila.
yeah we never called them Tuktuk. They're called Tryk or Tricycle, as you said.
Yes it's a Thai word but it became international word or was adapted in the English language to describe those kinds of transportation and it's in the dictionary.

Philippine looks very interesting. Will you be going to Beijing anytime soon...? I've never been there but heard it's police everywhere but I am more drawn to all their ancient relics.

😢It's completely biased. Beijing has a population of 20 million, how can it be possible that there are police everywhere? There will be some “police”in Tiananmen Square in the city center. These people are ceremonial like honor guard. They are just dressed like the uniforms you think of the police in communist countries, but they are honor guard not police.
I've never been to Beijing. But I've been to southern part of China and it's never as described by what the western media portrays.

Yeah it's tuktuk because it looks and similar to it. We have tricycles also which is our local version of tuktuk but totally unlike it.
