Thanks Sybert! Learned a lot of stuff from your videos. I used to suck at this game. But now I can handle medium difficulty computers pretty easily (not something impressive but feels good to get better at this).
Vindies used to beat Dimon before 2016. Dimon has grown much stronger over the years while Vindies has left for the same years. Let Vindies pick up his rusty pace guys :)
Great match, known players, quality casting (thank you Sybert). Although players resilience/stubbornness levels felt kind of mismatched: Vindies: "My position got worse and from this point my opponent just going to snowball me, I better resign." Dimon: "I am clearly losing. Well I guess time to torture my opponent by being as tricky and annoying as possible for the next 30 minutes!" Probably that is why games where Dimon is losing/worse are more interesting and fun. He is just better from behind. Also would be cool (or terrible) to watch them switch factions: Vindies (Empire) vs Dimon (Allies)
It's more about the factions and their respective playstyles, allies are pretty bad when behind imo, and add to the fact that dimon is a soviet main- that undying resilience is in his blood, you either get cheesed early game by him or he stalls out the game as long as possible... I would even say vindies wouldn't get a win if dimon is playing soviets
Christ, Dimon's unit control is disgusting. What a machine. Though one thing bothers me is that Vindies just sorta refuses to take oil on some maps. You really can't let your opponent get eco on both oil derricks.

No, not in the normal sense of "professional" There is a cash prize for winning and these are top competitors (Dimon is currently the best, Vindies was the best years ago and is rusty here), but no one makes a living playing C&C. Sometimes in the C&C community we use the term "pro" to mean a top player. Often you'll see people break down the skill of someone into: noob, good/mid, and pro. I think we mostly just adopted "pro" as a comparative term, for us it's the equivalent of a professional player in another game. They play the game the most, they're among the best competitively, and they have consistency.

Amazing first game like wow
wait finals?
From the February ladder wars. Didn't cast the semis.
That first game tho x,D
Great game by these two legendary fiery rivals. Dimon has been exceptionally my favorite Soviet player but never had I thought that he is surprisingly good in playing as the Empire O___o.
*And perhaps the only reason Vindies lost is because he was only using 10% of his power* 😂 xD XD
Vindies was fucking loose but your right his at
I can tell that vindies is trying to hold back from doing allies cheese, otherwise vindies would win, allies are just too op
He wouldn't build allied tanks that's why he lost
jeez literally 55 seconds ago lol
this is profesionally tournament or what? honestly asking
No, not in the normal sense of "professional"
There is a cash prize for winning and these are top competitors (Dimon is currently the best, Vindies was the best years ago and is rusty here), but no one makes a living playing C&C.
@@OneSybert okeyy i get it thank you for the explanation 😁

watching this feeling better than watch LOL or CSGO
It's a shame this game didn't catch on because it's WAY funner to watch than Starcraft 2

Miss you king dimon
Dimon was playing in April Ladder Wars a couple weeks ago. I don't think he's gone.
Renegade cast when? /s
I've wanted to do something with Renegade or Renegade-X for a long time, but haven't got the time to figure anything out.
always good to see an allied player loses
Oohhh I'm in
